I tried looking up guides but not seeing much I can understand. I have a R32 weapon and kept trying to I’ll higher items with the assembly but only finding same rank. Then fought item god and same. So how the hell do I find R35 lol?
I do have a PS4 but I don't use it much, so I'd rather wait until there's a PC version of the deluxe edition.
Are these good innocents for the items mentioned? or should i be focusing on other ones (im just waiting for them to level up more then put them into the items for duplication)
my trap is at Epic and at floor 1600+ at level 1 didn't skip any item generals/kings/gods (havent ran into dupe room yet) and i havent started doing barefoot x yet
any tips for those 2 items?
So I see the Disgaea games are on sale. I'm really a huge fan of playing Disgaea on handheld but I'm starting to hear horror stories of 6 on Switch (in terms of performance, I don't care how good or bad a game it is, I've played the first 5 and I'll play 7 eventually). I can play on PC if the performance is truly that bad, but could use some input if the problems are as big as advertised.
I also see they don't sell it as "complete" version on Switch, is the Switch missing any content? Thanks for the pointers!

Anyone know why I cannot proceed to 3-5? I have beaten 3-4 multiple times but there is no 5th quest available. Any suggestions?
Is it necessary to grind for the story? I see item world grinding, is that necessary to complete the story? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m just an old man trying to play with my kids!
In the first 3 games, boosting INT is important, so staves are great, but in Disgaea 4 and beyond, you can cap your INT anyway with other weapons, equipment, and aptitude boosts. Is there any point to restrict your use of weapon skills and use a staff in late-game disgaea 4 or 5 instead of any other weapon?
So, im trying to get the 10 mill damage trophy and everyone says the easiest way to do this is to get the legendary yoshitsuna from the item god.
The question is, do i need to get to flor 100 of a legendary cosmic blade or a regular cosmic blade is enough?
Or if anyone can suggest a better method to get this trophy im listening lol
I dumped probably 300+ hours into 2 and absolutely loved the game so many years ago. It’s been a long time but I got an itch to play a game that I can dump hundreds of hours into and grind the hell out of my team. It looks like it should be a choice between 5 and 7 but what say you? After turkey I want to fall into the Nippon abyss on my ROG Ally lol
I know for those who have seen my recent posts, that I tend to discuss the original game a lot, but because I am almost done with it, I figured that I would ask about the second game as I am kind of new to it.
For instance, I am in Zenon’s Palace, and I was curious about what the postgame was like in general as I keep hearing about the Land of Carnage, but I have no idea on how to unlock it.
But the other thing that I would like to know about the game is how the Assembly system works as I don’t understand how Felonies work, or why some of the bills at the end of an Item World only say 40% next to them as I was wondering how that stuff works so that I can see how to pass the bills during my Item World visits because if a bill says “30%” right next to it, then I cannot get it approved very easily.
Hello,
I assumed cap was 255, but I seem to be stuck on sword skill 99.
(I also seem to have lost my copy of the official guide 😥😭)
Hey guys,
I want to play a game in this series but I was wondering how story heavy is this game? I'm not really looking for a deep story game right now. Are there long cutscenes? Hundreds of dialogue panels where the characters talk endlessly? The gameplay always looked intriguing to me so I'm hoping there's more of a focus on that.
Edit: Thanks for the help guys! This definitely seems like my type of game then. Very Monster hunter esque where there technically is a story but you don't need to worry about it.
So a while ago, I started Etna Mode, and I defeated Baal first, but now I am confused because the game had suddenly ended.
To put it simply, I was basically wondering if the game was supposed to end at that point as again, I defeated Baal, but I was just a bit surprised that the game ended as it asked me to restart it.
But the other thing that I would like to know about in the first game is Statistician boosts because for instance, one item my unit has in the PC version of the game is the Innocent fully capped, but he also has a pair of boots that not only give him more walking distance, but I also added a Statistician onto them.
So my point is that I don’t know if it makes a difference to have two items equipped with double Statistician boosts, as the one on my guy’s boots is almost maxed out, so I don’t know if I will be receiving more experience points from killing off enemies.
Recently I've set myself on completing Disgaea 4. Right now I've finally got access to the land of carnage and so I can get my characters from level 1 to 9999 in something like three fights at most. So, I think the time has come to farm reincarnation points. However I don't know exactly how reincarnation works here as the game apparently doesn't show you much of the data that most recent chapter do show (for example it seems that it doesn't tells you how much stored levels you have, or maybe I simply don't know where to look 😅). My question is: is there a cap for reincarnation stats? And how do I know that I've reached it? Or perhaps there's a diminishing return that makes inefficient to reincarnate after a certain point?
I know this might not get any solution or answer but I have to try
I ran D5 on my newest pc with all best hardware installed but the game randomly causes cpu usage spikes to 100% and tend to freeze completely that I had to restart the pc, otherwise the game only uses like 5% of the cpu. The timing and places this happen are entirely random, also the anime intro of D5 won't show up, only sound is playing (tried all the preview build fix according to dev but still no good).
My cpu is this recent 9800x3d, and no issue with other demanding AAA UE5 games, so what happened with D5 here? could this be a system issue related to Windows 11?
I can still play D5 smoothly on the other pc but I'd like to find some solutions for the newer one, I have a feeling that this is on either NIS or Microsoft...
I'm starting to feel like I was gas lit. I saw a lot of people praising 7's story and claiming if 7 wasn't the best Disgaea it was definitely in the top 3. I have played 1,2,5, and 6 and quite enjoyed all their stories, even 6. I'm up to chapter 8 in 7's story and I just don't feel anything. Not a single character is clicking with me. Fuji feels like a try hard Killia and Pirilika feels like a water down, ditzier version of Flonne. Higan has the personality of a piece of card board. Yeyasu, Suisen, and Ceefore are okay more in that they aren't annoying compared to the other three rather than they're actually interesting. I know story is not at the top of a lot of Disgaea fans concerns, but I just am trying to understand how anyone felt this was anywhere close to decent.
It’s been so long since I dived deep into Disgaea and decided to pick up D1 complete. The last time I played through 1 was on the PSP and hadn’t quite beat the story. We’re now through the main story and close to finishing up Etna mode. Any recommendations on the best grinding maps on Etna mode? Finishing up gathering statisticians to speed it up.
Finally beat Pringer X.
Had every guy with Quick Attack. Marona had + movement titles so she could rush to destroy the remote.
Pringer had 1 turn for every Marona turn, so basically had her attack him, then summon someone to hold him so he would waste his turn jumping on them.
Finally.
(Side note, a bit of GUIDE DANG IT that you need to do random dungeons with certain criteria to unlock the EX stages, but then do them again and again for the additional stages).
Is there any point to reincarnating past 20m? (through subclasses + extracts/shards + elite 4 squad)
like does the amount of times i reincarnate a character matter? or when i reincarnate them?
and is the only way to gain more stats after 20m just through item levelling + innocents?
Is there an evility like in 5 to stop prints from exploding.
I want to pass my Disagae 7 save to a friend, how can I export the save?
I can't find 100% disgaea 5 100% walkthrough all secrets, Trophies, weapons, on "YOUTUBE'
Somebody knows who made 100% map, weapons, secrets ect of diasgea 5 complete ?
Hi there! I recently started playing Disgaea games. I just beat Disgaea 2. I know the main thing here is for you to spend hours in item-world, but I can't shake this feeling that I was waiting a little more from the plot of the second game. The first game is silly, but it fits Laharl, and I genuinely shed a tear at the ending of that game. In Disgaea 2, more fleshed-out characters alongside the slow-paced nature of the story gave me a vibe where things were more serious, but somehow it feels like it didn't deliver. Adell's whole thing is to beat the Overlord and keep his promises. Although he feels conflicted about it sometimes, it doesn't seem it is truly challenged or developed in any way. More than one characters acknowledge Adell as a battle maniac, there is this plot point about him not being affected by Zenon's curse, and the final boss also says something about Adell not being human, so for the majority of the game, I thought there would be a twist to his character that would put to the test all that "chosen-one" talk or even have to confront Rozalin in a dilemma to keep his promise or save his siblings. Still, by the end of the game, the only different thing about Adell is that now he can kiss girls. Talking about the final boss, he was so lame as a villain that I thought the game would be pulling a switcharoo on me saying: "Ha, this loser who got owned by several characters is not the main villain" and tossing me in the real endgame. Did I miss something? How well regarded is Disgaea 2's plot by the fandom? Is this just how Disgaea games are or can I wait for something better for the third game?
