I have this vague memory of a game by square enix whose storyline involves 4 soldiers from a different world coming to another. The combat is kind of like 16 and they can turn things into red crystals and break them. For the life of me I cannot find it or it's name
I recently got new airpods and looking for a good looking case for it. I'm thinking about getting the FF7 Shinra case from the Square Enix store, but I don't know how long it'll take for it to ship. How many days is standard shipping to the US?
My son asked me for a subscription to SquareEnix for his birthday/Christmas (they are a week apart). I don't know much of anything about current games and consoles (I'm a 55 year old GenXer). Can someone clue me in as to what this is or where I might find it? I'm not having much success with Google.
Update - Thank you ask for your suggestions and help. I reached out to my ex (my son's mother), and she suggested to just get him a gift card for the cost, and hopefully, one of his friends can help him figure it out. So that's what I'll be doing.
Hello beautiful people!
I'm looking for "memes" or just funny images that I could add as stickers for my whatsapp. It can be of any Square Enix franchise!
I have these ones but ... I'm not a big fan of many of those, and these are mostly from Line LOL So any funny images you have will help!! :DD
(Just please don't include just FFVII lol)
I just picked up FF7 for my PS5 Pro, and even though the Pro hugely improves the resolution, the dev team did not really re-jigger the LOD assets and distances and it’s really distracting.
Sometimes the assets are not even the same when they swap items at a certain distance. The windows on the buildings Kalm, for example, one would appear rectangular with no flag draped out front when near, then would become square with a cloth / flag draped over.
Like, if you’re gonna do LOD wouldn’t it make more sense to swap in assets that are at least very similar? It’s just so distracting and takes me out of the narrative and the immersion.
I’m gaming on a 85” oled so it’s even more apparent for me. Flowers, shadows, boxes, grass popping in and out and swapping completely different models depending on the distance.
Can Square devs please maybe take a course or have a friendly exchange of seminar with Guerilla or Naughty Dog or Insomniac?
Hello anyone know if there are any working promo codes for the SE store at the moment ?
So I've got a samsung tab s9 plus and I wanna throw some games on it to play and I was looking at the Square Enix published stuff.
I'm wondering which of those games on the Google Play are worth getting and playing since a majority of them seem to be ports and I saw War of the Lions was there too.
Do they work with controllers??
I just want a Lufia 2 2hd-2d remake so hard… all the time i see these awesome games in such a lovely design. Please bring games back games like Lufia 2 and other games.
With a wish: keep it to 90% close to the OGs.
Perfection.
Despite decades passing since their original releases, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, SaGa Series, and Mana Series continue to exist.
Even though games like SaGA Scarlet Grace and Emerald Beyond didn't hit their revenue but Square Enix is still keep making more and it continues to be alive
I really appreciate the dedication of Square Enix pours into these franchises, choosing to invest in their legacy and preserve their magic for both long-time fans and new players. It’s inspiring to see a company that values the art and history of their games just as much as their profitability, ensuring that these timeless franchise can be enjoyed this modern times.
Even if you’re not the biggest fan of Foamstars, it’s hard to deny that the music is top-notch. It captures the game’s vibrant energy so well, adding a level of excitement that’s hard to beat. I genuinely hope more people give the game a shot—not just for the gameplay but to truly experience its incredible soundtrack. The battle themes have an irresistible, head-bopping beat that perfectly complements the action, and the character selection music is brimming with dance-worthy vibes, making the characters come alive as they groove to the rhythm.
Overall, it’s one of the most memorable soundtracks, turning each match into an electrifying, high-energy experience. The way the music intertwines with the game’s lively atmosphere is outstanding, showing how much care was put into crafting every track to leave a strong impact.
Is it possible we will get a port or hopefully a remake of the ps1 and ps2 of the Musashi games. The ps1 game is pretty good. The sequel, Samurai Legend, is kinda bad but the style the game had was pretty cool.
Dissidia is probably my favorite Final Fantasy game of all time, and I specifically had Dissidia 012 duodecim, which, unless I'm mistaken, is basically the original Dissidia but with added content and story, sort of like a Director's Cut.
I've seen gameplay of Dissidia NT, and while it looks decent enough, and the HD cutscenes look amazing as always, it never seemed to be on the same level as Dissidia on the PSP. I think if it were remastered, it could do quite well with a wider audience since it would no longer be bound to an old hand-held console that isn't really supported anymore.
I think if Dissidia were to be remastered, they should add a bit more content, such as another new story to go through, main characters from Final Fantasy 14, 15, and now 16, and new outfits for all the characters, including some outfits that you could only get off of the PlayStation Store, such as Sephiroth's Kingdom Hearts outfit. I think Cloud also had a Kingdom Hearts outfit that was locked behind a paywall in the PlayStation Store as well. Nowadays, if you want to get those outfits, you basically have to emulate the game first and find those outfit files online.
Side note: With Cloud's KH outfit, and by that, I mean his outfit from KH1 since KH2 uses his Advent Children outfit, one change I would like to see is when Cloud uses his EX Mode while having that outfit equipped, have that demon wing appear with his EX Mode instead of simply giving him Ultima Weapon, since in KH1, that wing comes out when he uses a lame and annoying version of Omnislash.
Anyway, as to adding a new story, technically that doesn't really need to happen. They could instead just add to that post-game campaign where you wander around the map as whatever character you want and eventually end up running into Feral Chaos. They could just add characters from FF14, 15, and 16 into that campaign as characters you could run into and probably unlock.
And then of course for combat, I don't know enough about FF14 to get any sort of idea of what the limit break would be, but I could imagine for FF15, Noctis would have his Armiger Chain. As for whatever villain they choose for that, I'm not sure. And I don't know enough about FF16 to have any idea of what the MC for that game would have as a limit break.
So yeah, I really think Dissidia would do well as a remaster as well as being ported to PC and modern consoles. Kingdom Hearts seems to be doing quite well on that front as well as some of the Final Fantasy games at least. Why not Dissidia as well?
Does anyone know when they restock plushies? I really want to get this kh2 sora plush
Hi everyone,
I'm planning on going to Japan in April and would love to go to the Square Enix Cafe. However, I'm trying to make a reservation and every date says "Your selected time is unavailable." Am I trying to book too far in advance or is there something else I'm missing?
Thanks in advance!
