Isolation Skill is Glitched

I posted before that there is an issue with the game allowing a dead companion from a recovery mission to stay latched on to my player.

I hit up a civilian outpost for some resources and they wanted me to go get someone who had left, and bring them back.

On the way back, that person was killed by some local critters. Now when I do certain things I get a retrieve waiting companion message: visiting Victus S7 MAST. The companion appears dead on my ship, or if I enter the Key.

This is negating the Isolation skill from tallying my kills when I have no companion, or crew. I am using the Xbox, so no need to see any computer/laptop cmds to sus it out.

I'm gonna say it... I'm jealous of Monolith Soft fans (as a MonoSoft fan) as a Bethesda fan

Seriously. It's honestly amazing how Monolith Soft is known as the open world RPG devs of Nintendo games with how they assisted with the Legend of Zelda games, made 1 new Xenoblade game at launch, made ANOTHER NEW Xenoblade game, and then remastered + bonus content ported ALL THE OTHER Xenoblade games with Xenoblade Chronicles X definitive edition being announced today and the Definitive Edition for the first game a few years ago.

Meanwhile Fallout Day only had Fallout 76 content, and we don't even know if those leaked remasters even exist for Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 or if they have been cancelled for no good reasons. We should be getting remasters that upgrade the graphics while retaining a spiritually accurate vision to the gameplay with neat add-ons more often.

I know that Xenoblade games do not have so much content compared to Skyrim since the games' stories and combat system are more fixed. But also like, Xenoblade X feels like the game Starfield should've been with how the game looks so ambitious in scale, engaging combat and traversal systems, and many things going on in the environment alongside a grand scheme storyline at play. THAT'S the Starfield I want to play. And Monolith Soft made that for the WII U -O-"

I don't know what Microsoft is going to do with Bethesda, because I feel like they really should extract some more potential out of Bethesda by following what Monolith Soft is doing.

I'm only hoping things get better after this funk of Starfield imo of not really living up to the GOTY tier Bethesda I really want Bethesda to strive for again.

Which game of Bethesda has the LEAST amount of bugs?

Saw some article earlier I disagreed with concerning future Starfield stuff (I love bethesda games but personally I feel starfield dropped the ball in a lotta aspects lol), and it got me thinking about something

Article was saying a former worker at Beth has high hopes for Starfield 2 succeeding given the track record of Beth improving upon former titles, and it got me into thinking about how buggy their game are notorious for. Like wondering if Morrowind is more stable than Oblivion or how have Bethesda game releases have became more/less stable over these years

So with all that and as title asks, what game of theirs would be the least buggy? Im not sure to include their older titles or not (like the original ES games of Daggerfall and Arena) tbh. And I mean specifically Bethesda developed titles, so nothing made by another studio that they then published like the doom games with ID software.

Thanks for any input <3

Curious about everyones opinion on this

Do you think Bethesda could use AI to listen the player through typing or talking into a headset for more dynamic conversations in future games instead of all the pre-set dialogue options? I think this could be a real game changer for open world games in general.

Im really enjoying starfield with just two very hard to ignore issues.

Absolutely loving exploring the Bethesdaverse in all it's glory but there's two things that no matter how I try to rationalize them I can't ignore.

  1. Landing ships in enemy areas gets no attention at all. Not even someone coming to greet whoever landed, like wut???

  2. The persuasion. I like the system, I think it's their best yet tbh. But the things you say oml I can't ignore it! I feel like sadaam in the early South Park episodes. "I need into your high security bunker and your key card can help me." "Why should I give it to you? We just met and idk who you are." "Oh cmoooon it's me! You can trust me guy! Would I do you wrong? Just lemme hold it I won't do nothing bad I promise guy!"

Other than that it's very fun! I see the shallow bits and I agree they're disappointing, and the amount of load screens is a bit much (though I expected many) those are still my two biggest gripes so far.

Bethesda Gear is shady

So I have made 3 orders with this company and let me tell you they are a complete joke and shame on me for giving them my money 3 times...

Allow me to explain:

Placed an order for several items on May 30, 2024. On June 28th I'm like wtf, where is my order. They send me a response stating:"I am sorry for the confusion however this Pre-order is estimated to ship in November 2024, barring any force majeure." Like wtf, force majeure!?! Why are you not just being clear and concise in your answer about why it is taking so long to get a plush, flag, collectible tin and a bobblehead? Turns out because the bobblehead needed to made, the whole order has to wait until the bobblehead is ready, apparently there is a notice of that when you make the order but I clearly missed it. Regardless here it is November 2024 and they've had my $121.44USD since May 30th.

Order #2 was also made made on May 30, 2024 for a die cast replica pip boy. Now I knew this one would take time as it was pre-order but really I didnt think it would take 5 months for them to fulfill the order. That's another $254.99USD of mine they've had since May 2024.

Order #3 was for a t-shirt and a hat that was ordered on September 2023. Now kudos to this shady company for actually shipping the products within a reasonable amount of time, September 26, 2024, but here's the cherry on top, somehow my stuff was delivered to an address in New Jersey on October 16, 2024, not my address that is clearly indicated on the order. That's another $62.56 USD of mine they have.

So shame on me for giving this company my money 3times, bout $438.99 to be precise but not like im counting...

Im not sure if I feel more pity or frustration with customer service because although they do respond, it is never helpful or reasonable information and im sure that's their job m/o to be this way.

Just needed to vent and spread this info, curious to know if other people have had the same experience?

Potential hot take (might be long. I'm sorry)

I don't know if its just me. But I really enjoy starfield for what it is. I never had crazy expectations for it at launch. Or even with shattered space. And I've enjoyed every minute of it. I understand the complaints about it 100%. But I somehow found something fun and honestly special. I enjoy going into a star system seeing a plant that looks interesting or pretty and landing and exploring. It's been a blast for me at least. I know lots of people wish they just moved on to TES6 or even fallout 5. But I'm honestly really happy they made starfield. Sorry if this is a long post.

What is stopping Bethesda from putting the full New Vegas game on PS4/PS5

Seriously, it has been unavailable for years! Literal years. The only way to play it is through the PS3 version through ps plus streaming only and that doesn't include a single dlc. I've been wanting to play through it again for so long now it seems and there are crickets in the air when it comes to releasing on PS5 or the full version releasing on PS plus.

Skyrim Anniversary achievements not registering

Playing on Xbox Series X. No mods downloaded. Achievements/trophies stopped showing up. I was getting some for a while. Played it a decade ago on the 360 and I know I've completed requirements for some of the trophies I'm not getting.

Bethesda gear replica

Hey guys, I thought about ordering the vault-tec security key card but I saw that it’s only limited to 5000 pieces so I thought it would be sold out in a short while but now, one or two weeks later I checked again and it says it’s still available?? Is Bethesda gear just not good or am I missing something? Also when I just googled the product there were multiple websites who offered the replica for preorder. If anyone has more information on this thank u for sharing.

Are we getting our moneys worth???

I was browsing the Bethesda merch shop and found this product of a mystery box.

The product is listed for $110 and in the pic description it says you will get items up to $225 in total, making it a possibility to get your moneys worth.

But when I went to the description of the product it says the items are valued over $225.

Either way it does not go into too much detail on what collectables and merch you would be receiving and this feels like a bit of a red flag coming from Bethesda.

I have been a long time enjoyer of both the fallout and Elder Scrolls games and am worried that Bethesda is falling down a path that other failing game companies trying to pull out cheap tricks to squeeze more money out of their customers and a lot of people are getting sick of it.

Not looking to hark on them too hard over a little grammar issue but I would hate to see such a beloved studio fall short just because they are unable to innovate and expand on their already magnificent IP's.

What would a modern BGS Sports game look like?

Prior the the development of the first Elder Scrolls game, Bethesda was known for developing and producing all kinds of games. One of the genres they frequently worked with was sports. NCAA Basketball, Football, Hockey, etc.

Hypothetically, let’s say that EA Sports, 2K, Sony, etc lost their exclusive licenses to the major sports leagues in the United States and abroad and Bethesda managed to grab one of your choosing.

Given their body of work to this point, what do you think a BGS version of Madden, NBA 2K, FIFA, MLB the Show, etc would look like?

Almost every fallout game not working

I bought Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, and 4, and NONE, of them worked, 1 and 2 both say "failure initializing input devices", 3 just instantly closes it when i press play, New Vegas keeps minimizing itself, and 4 tries to open something, but it just crashes after a few seconds, the only one that actually even opens is 76, and I've never heard 1 good thing about it

Ok, Question for I am so damn confused...

So for you Fallout players, (I have yet to have the pleasure in playing it but am looking at it) I need some help.

I am a gamepass holder on Xbox (play on pc with controller) and I see the following:

Fallout

Fallout 2

Fallout Tactics

Fallout 4

Fallout 76

Fallout New Vegas

Fallout GOTY

Fallout 3

Fallout 76 Skyline Valley

I know a new thing came out recently for Fallout and most if not all DLCs require a base game to work - my question is - WHICH of the Fallouts do it get?? my head is spinning... help,,, please...thanks...

Remove if not allowed. Yesterday I made my first YouTube video, reviewing Oblivion.

I know the game is old, but I didn’t want to review all the newest games because then I just blend in. It’s also one of my favourite games. Feed back is appreciated, and here’s the link:

Many thanks in advance.

I am currently working on a Video Essay about the Fallout series and the emotions it had for the creators and some fans.

I primarily am working on the original Fallout portion right now, but I wanted to get commentary from the people working on the franchise as a whole about their emotions during their work, and after release. I wanted to get how Tim Cain, Leonard Boyarsky, Josh Sawyer, and so many other felt about it and their work, the emotions they felt while making it and playing it.

But soon came to realize a no-name person making a massive video about it would not be able to get in contact with them. Probably ever. But I figured the fans might just want to share their experiences with the franchise, the emotional highs, memories of playing with friends, whatever you want to throw here.

I'd still like to get feedback from the people who worked on the franchise, if possible.

Are There Any Mods For Elder Scrolls 1, 2 and Morrowind, and if so, Any Recommendations?

Less than a year ago, I started Skyrim the 3rd time after some years ago trying it other times but getting bored after a couple hours, 3rd time I was actually having fun, I think I got 10 hours currently, ok rambling over.

I got Elder Scrolls 1, 2, and 3 on GOG and wondered if there are any recommendations for mods, at least ones to improve my experience but not change the game too much. Tho I guess I should mention I'm not really a computers person so my experience with modding is very, very limited.
