Is it ever specified how Delita learned about the plot to kidnap Ovelia?
As title states I'm very lost. I'm at the fight at brigands den and I get wrecked. I have no idea what job to change to, if I should change jobs, what abilities I should be learning, secondary skills, xyz. It's feeling very overwhelming at the moment and I'm not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
My friend has recently got into the lore of FFXIV. She doesn't play herself, but she has found this channel that's basically a let's play that excludes all the level grinding and all that and just focuses on the story.
I've been telling her about how much I love Ivalice and how wonderful FFTs story is, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar video or something that shows the story without making the viewer sit through entire videos of battles and stuff?

FFT WotL

What’s stopping larger clans from just taking over all the territory of other clans, especially smaller clans?
I was trying to put together a dnd campaign that utilizes a similar mechanic for clans but trying to justify why a large clan wouldn’t just destroy a smaller clan as soon as it started gaining territory is hard to explain.
Hey everyone, I played FFT 1.3 about 10 years ago now (doesn’t seem like that long ago!) and am wondering if there are any similar mods that have come out between now and then. I’m not necessarily looking for insane difficulty but somewhere between vanilla and 1.3. I have tried content too but looking for something new. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Since joining this sub I have been compelled to revisit my first love, but this time on my phone this go around. My first play through was over 125 hours. I’m going to see if I can ruin that record. Wish me luck!
I'm a few levels in and Delita and that side part-wearing motherfucker are the absolute worst. They do nothing but sit 5 tiles away and throw rocks while my squires actually fight shit (shoutout to Symond and Radcliffe) and the SECOND an enemy is one hit away from dying they swoop in and steal all the rewards. I think the useful units that I can actually tell what to do have gained xp/jp like 3 times combined. It's early in the game so I haven't ran into any problems yet but I can see them getting outlevelled and not advancing in the job tree fast enough to be competitive in later levels. How do I get the non-guest units to actually land the killing blow more?
Where can I find modded versions? I'm currently replaying through the PSP version. Love the graphics and story. So to try a different flavor (classes or mechanics) would be something great.
Finally got through Dorter with everyone alive. Playing on /u/Tzepish mod. Thank you Tzepish.
I am playing FFT war of the lions on iOS. I had heard of this game back when but am wholly new tot his genre (played many other final fantasy games).
Is there a way to play any of the other FFT games I’ve seen referenced on PC PS5 or iOS?
Are those other FFT games essentially the same game in different versions or so they have different stories and characters?
Are there other games done well in this genre or like this?
I think there’s something called tactics ogre on PlayStation store. Is it related to FFT? Is it at least the same kind of game? Is it good? Are there other such games?
I’m really liking this game.
Hello everyone,
Not sure it’s the best place to ask, but here it goes. I love FFTA 2, it was one of my favorite game ever as a kid. I loved the art, i loved the combat system, but most importantly, i loved the clan management. Not sure why, but my absolute favorite moments in the game was between battles, developing the builds for my character and creating new items to buy in the shops.
I am thinking about it recently, and I feel the itch to play another tactical with a similar team management.
So I was wondering if FFT WotL, which I never tried, had similar mechanisms, or if you could suggest another tactical RPG with the same focus on team management.
Thanks !
For example, I did a playthrough with characters based on the Game of Thrones book series. I did one last week with some of the main players in Shōgun. I skill them out to try and mirror* their characters in whatever show, book, or other game I adapt them from. For example, Jon Snow (GoT) was a Knight with beastmaster, since he's somewhat of a warg. Torunaga (Shōgun) was a samurai with geomancy skills (because earthquakes? This one was pretty loose).

For as often as I've seen this complaint, no one has ever given concrete examples of what they mean. I would go so far as to say I refuse to believe it is difficult for anyone to understand unless English is your second language.
Here is one example from WotL that is incredibly easy to read:
Your friend, Delita. He is a good boy. He is lowborn, but he can serve you well. I've made arrangements for him to enter the Akademy. *chuckle* You should have seen the look on the headmaster's face. In the years ahead you will need someone whom you can trust. You could do far worse than Delita.
Here is an example of something a little more "flowery", and I need to preface this by saying it was quite difficult even to FIND something like this:
So we fly - what then? Know you some happy haven in which we may alight? If we flee, they win once more. As they have always won. We must make for our children a fairer future than the past you and I have known. They must not suffer as we do! The stone we cast might raise only the smallest of waves, but see how they crash upon the shore! Waves rich with our blood...
Furthermore, I would have to replay it to see who uses what kind of vocabulary, but I'm pretty sure there is a logic to anyone who does speak a little fancier than others. The more high born, the more
"flowery." Ordinary citizens don't speak the same as nobility. Then again, that first quote up there is from Ramza's father, so maybe it's easier to say those who are too full of themselves and vying for some kind of power will use their words to try to justify their actions.
Link to the PSP script, if you need help to find a line you find particularly offensive.
I don’t know if I’m clueless or just about nearing it but how do I unlock classes?? I started the game and have a level 5 soldier with 3 out of 4 skills mastered but I don’t see the option to change to paladin. I looked on wikis and it says for the human char to master “2 soldier A abilities” but paladin doesn’t appear in the change jobs wheel
Everything in the title, I’m trying to get a modded version of ffta
Best resources for PS1 walkthrough besides wiki. The Prima guide is wild @__@
So I downloaded the grim grimoire rom hack. I'm still very early in the game, I just finished thesis hunt. I only have 4 members in my party. Marche, Montblanc, a blue goblin and a thunder drake. I've done 4 or 5 special recruit mission, all succeed but I've haven't had new members try to join does anyone who has played this rom hack know why?
I've not played any modded Tactics games. Does this version still offer the job points glitch? I assume, since its base is the PSX version.
Hello guys, I do hope my message finds you well. I recently started playing this game after work and I'm totally loving it. I had it sitting on my backlog for years! I'm playing it via Duckstation, with the ReMixed mod.
With that being said, I have the following questions: is this mod a good starting point for a beginner? If not, which mod do you guys think provides a good and stable FFT experience?
I also was wondering if there exist a patch that could deal with enemy scaling. Some of my party members are yet level 2-3 and a few level 5 goblins and chocobos are beating my ass.
I kindly appreciate any tips or suggestions you guys could provide. Thanks in advance.
