So for the Jasper and Tonasket (Jasper2) models which heatsink is better? The copper pipe or none?

Or does the gpu only matter? I was told the Jasper and Jasper2 have the exact same motherboard except for gpu and heatsink and I have a damaged motherboard (one I stepped on and broke) Just going to store it after pulling the Kronos gpu off it and put it on another board but I’m not sure if I should swap heatsink too.

The copper pipe one can deal with more heat right? Since the older models got hotter and new ones didn’t so they cut the cost of production taking the pipe out, so the pipe should be better I assume

So I’ve never updated my Xbox 360 since we first got it I finally decided to update it today as I released there were extra content for free for certain games anyways I signed up to Xbox live filled out everything and then I get an error code 807B0194 what does this mean and can I fix this

Caesar H. at Microsoft Customer Service was able to help me with the XBox 360 sign-in errors. It's multiple steps:

1. Login to your Microsoft XBox account on your phone or computer, not the console.

2. Change your password to 9 alpha-numeric characters. The XBox 360 is a legacy system and can't handle long passwords, such as 15 alpha-numerics.

3. Power cycle your console. Turn it off, wait a bit, then turn it back on.

4. Login using the same credentials you have on the phone, into the console. However, this time delete the email, and re-enter it manually. Then the updated shorter password. And select Remember me.

5. Power cycle the console again.

6. Log back in. You should see your wallpapers, friends online, and digital library.

7. This confirms you are logged in to your account online via XBox 360.

I'm planning on buying an Xbox 360 but since the 360 store shutdown in July 2024, will I still be able to download and use discs on a new Xbox 360 or do the discs have to already be on the Xbox 360 installed?

I turned on my xbox 360 after a long time. I encountered this error when I tried to log in to my account or delete my profile and try to download it again. What is the reason why I encounter this problem even though two-step verification is turned off on my account? Can I solve it or is this a problem with Xbox Live?

So, I have a old 360 phat that I use for occasional gaming. It's always had an extremely temperamental disc drive, but now it has completely died. I've tried all of the easy fixes exept making the laser more powerful, but honestly I think it has died for good.

But I do have 2 other dead 360's and at least one has the proper Phillips & LiteOn drive that this one has but it is a bit newer (2008 vs 2010) and I know that the actual drives are coded to the console, but how about switching the lasers or the motherboards? I don't actually know if the drives are good, but I would be willing to find out. And I am completely fine with my 360 Digital Edition if I break the disc drive completely, right now I am trying to fit my entire digital 360 library on the 60 gb drive.

But is there any reasonable way to fix the drive with spare parts before I throw the other 360's to the electronic recycling?

Just tried to sell my 360 slim to CEX, but they said my account was still on there and I need a pass code. The only way to reset is to know the code, or to answer the security question. I am almost 100% sure I have not added this to the account, but not sure if previous owner did.

I cannot for the life of me find where this option comes up, as all I can see is initial setup and no reset console etc. Where do they find this option?

Tried to remove it from my Xbox account, but that didn't help, and I have no option to remove this code online either. I guess as the shop and everything is gone. I've now deleted all data and profile from my storage devices, but I haven't once been prompted to enter the pass code. Pls halp.

When I download, I get an .iso file. How do I burn it to a DVD? DVDs are quite expensive here, and I don’t want to make too many failed attempts. Are they ready to burn? Can I use Nero Burning ROM with the Xbox compatibility option? Should I use ImgBurn? Do I need to use another program? I booted up my Xbox after a few months and the metro dashboard is now repulsive so I was curious if I could downgrade it to blades?

I have the Original xbox 360. I’ve turned it on recently for the first time in forever, I’ve done everything I could to reconnect it. I removed the hard drive then plugged it back in again, I’ve restarted the console, basically everything one could do to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know.

I know that they definitely still worked after the marketplace shutdown around 2 months ago, but now every code I type in is suddenly invalid.

They stopped working on the redeem website years ago, but still worked on the 360. I guess thats over now too.
