It all comes full circle
Started playing the game recently like 2 days ago since its on sale and so far I'm at the end of main story spent 14 hours into the game. Real fun journey and I like the parkour and dodge mechanics. But just wanted to know something is it normal that the game was dropping frames in certain areas and felt like its struggling to keep up with me running and jumping and fighting at the same time ?? And I'm playing on performance mode the whole time, I wonder how laggy it would run if I played on RT mode ?
Hello have you an other game like forspoken
A RPG with magic fight
th
EDIT : Im on PC and i've already play infamous/prototype
EDIT2 : There really aren't many full magician games with gameplay close to forspoken
Forspoken was a beautiful game. Overall extremely well done. My only issue is there's no ending where frey gets homer back but also gets to stay athia. The ending broke me emotionally cuz I own a cat. I sincerely hope Square Enix adds more endings or a way for frey to get Homer to athia. I have not played the dlc yet as I had to take a break from the game after watching the ending.
Bought this game June 2023 played it at 1080p 60ish frames (performance mode) beat it in 28ish hours and deleted it. Now that i have a 4k monitor, picked it back up yesterday and man.. on quality mode 1440p upscaled at 40ish frames.. its basically a whole new game and it was never as bad as the internet made it out to be. Anyway I’d love for this game to get a PS5 Pro Enhancement but sadly i know it will never happen
Hi! I found this place in Avoalet, in the Fountainfields. It's a tricky one, because you have to go from the Untrodden Forest. The spot it is in a high floating stone over Ruins of Ortasinda.
There is also the Anergon Guild in the Moulderings with 6 bumbershoot in the roof, but i guess that is a well known location.
Has anyone had any issues with this trophy? after defeating the last abomination, the trophy still has not unlocked even though i got the "Kit and caboodle" trophy. I tried to fight the abominations again but the Asparavis boss does not respawn. does anyone have any suggestions?
It seems that it’s less dense of thinks tu do, and coming from wukong and ragnarock i think that it’ll disappoint me a lot. I don’t want a game as good as those one, because i like hellblade 1 that has not the best reviews, but i would like a funny game to play when i’m bored or tired.(I would buy it at 17€)
So I'm about 38hrs in, 42% complete, headed through Avoalet (sp?) looking for some resin. I've been crashing about once a day. Almost always during high speed combat - sometimes at the end, sometimes when there's only a few enemies left. It's never just running around (that I can remember), and definitely never upon starting an encounter. IIRC it's always been overworld (not in labyrinths, etc.) Sometimes random fighting, sometimes map objective fighting.
I'm not losing a TON of time, but once a day I'm backtracking some and it's pretty annoying. I really like everything about this game, but I'm not interested in a game that crashes this frequently. Today it was just about finished fighting 3 (4?) ogres (I think, bigger humanoids) in the slanting part of Avolaet town. I had just eliminated all but one with a stage 3 surge and as I dodged an attack from behind and was swinis onlyging the camera around, it crashed. I know it's going to restart me at the base of at least that section of town, if not the whole beginning, and that's pretty frustrating from a limited-time-to-game viewpoint.
My PS5 is only 2/3's full and I'm running the latest version of the game. Any ideas or solutions? I may be shelving this one if I can't figure it out.
Ok, so back story:
I could swear the game introduced me to the Cuff Enemy Scan at one point, but every time I try to trigger it on my PS5, it just... doesn't happen.
[ EDIT: to clarify, the normal short scan as well as the directional scan both work, so Mr. Vambrace happily indicates stuff of interest around me and can shoot off that golden line saying "this way to your destination". ]
If it helps, I've just left Cipal after getting the Finders Keepers from Olevia Liette and I've hit the first Refuge, the Campground, and the Tower of Strength as well as the Fount near Cipal.
Is there a Cuff magic boost I'm missing or is my controller just completely duff on the D-Pad? I've had a few issues with it in Forbidden West, too, though none as game-breaking as this.
[ EDIT #2: Okay, thanks to /u/cruelfeline I've discovered that the scan ability I assumed I had doesn't exist yet because I haven't hit that part of the game progression. :D ]
Finished the DLC and I'm sad we won't get to see Frey continue her journey. 😔
Hello guys, I need your help please! My pc:
-Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
-Monitor: XB271HU A (2560x1440p 144Hz)
-CPU: Intel Core i9 9900K @ 3.60GHz
-RAM: 32 GB
-GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (Gigabyte) Gaming OC 11 GB
-SSD: 953 GB
-Motherboard: MSI MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK (MS-7B18) (U3E1)
Do you think my pc is ok for playing Forspoken at 60 fps with medium-high setting? I played Baldur's Gate 3 1440p Ultra-High settings with no problems.
Hi,
Game is on sale (70%) today and was curious about 2 things.
Is the performance issue fixed? I've read that the game had performance issues at launched. Lots of fps drops. (Playing with Ryzen 5600 with rtx 3060 and 16gb ram).
Is the dialog better? Less swearing/cursing? Don't really mind myself but other people here might.
Appreciate any feedback.
And that was being fun to play. If there’s one thing I absolutely detest in any DLC, it’s taking away 99.9% of my accrued power.
You known what? That’s wrong. Even at the very beginning of the main game, Frey hit harder than the little puffs of air you get stuck with in the DLC. I can’t do it. It’s just not fun to play. Not to mention they took away any semblance of defense.
Main game: 7.8/10
DLC: 0/10
I read on a reddit post on this community that at one point Frey was just about to teach a kid to swear to help feel better about pain, but at the last moment decides not to, and that it was dependant on a dialogue choice. I looked this up in the cutscenes and gameplay but I haven’t noticed it anywhere. Does anyone know where this is and which chapter this is in so that I can narrow the search?
You guys think there'll be enhancements for this game on the PS5 pro?
I've gone all the way through to beating Sila. Are there any tips for how to play that the game doesn't tell you or obscures a mechanic in some way? I know the little mana spots refill the stamina bar.
On the whole, I quite like it! :)
I can see why people complained that the early storyline kind of dragged, because the fade-in/fade-out parts of the sequences are kind of long, and the HUD isn't the most self-explanatory.
But on the whole, it wasn't terrible, and it did serve to introduce the basics of combat (which I'm still getting used to being as a bow and arrow basically don't exist, so I have to pelt magic rocks like a machine gun instead), plus I got to experience Cuff's gloriously amusing snark from time to time. Yes, the scripted snark bits are a bit repetitive (like Frey commenting on the weather, etc), but I can live with that.
One other complaint I do have is that there aren't reliable quest markers like in Zero Dawn/Forbidden West where the green exclamation mark makes it really obvious who you need to go to in order to get the quest. (And it looks like sometimes the quest triggers don't quite work properly, since Finders Keepers flowed across my screen well before the initiating sequence kicked it off - which is that Frey can't leave by the southern gate and so meets Olevia.)
That said, I'm used to wandering around cities and whatnot anyway, so I just did a lot of walking around and doing repeated Cuff scanning to make sure I didn't miss anyone (or two adorable kittehs).
So all in all, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10 (subject to revision once I complete the main story line).
So after Tanta Sila, pretty much the entire world opens up, and I had also snuck into some of it beforehand, too... but is it me or are there WAY less blue mana pool collection points now? I had over 1000 stored up before Sila, completely bought out the entire tree upon getting red magic, and had like 200 left, but after running around a bit in new areas, I'm getting very little in comparison. Is this expected or did I mess something up by going to late areas early and thus screw up spawn locations or something? (Side question, is Crosstide locked off until later? I keep fading to black when trying to hop down there.) (Side note to the side note: wtf were haters on when reviewing this game, it's great, this is the best traversal mechanics in an exploration game I've ever played and I love Frey, she's a NYer like me and a sarcastic potty mouth like Kaine in Nier [also me].)
Hi everyone, sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere but I couldn't find any sort of guide after a quick search in this sub.
I'm on Easy mode, and I've taken screenshots of the relevant combat settings here:
So, questions:
Apologies if these kinds of questions have already been asked and answered. It's a whole different ballgame playing the game instead of just watching playthroughs, to be honest!
