Okay, so last December, My Wii shit the bed when I turned it off, and when I turned it on no menu or Wii startup screen would appear. Only Priiloader and Bootmii, Priiloader was only able to play GameCube games if a Wii Game Disc or WiiWare title was loaded, it would crash. So then I thought Priiloader was the issue (Boy was I an idiot back then.) I deleted it & then it's just a black screen & Bootmii was unable to be loaded. And I did remember there was a Theme installed on the Console, Which made my assumption about themes to be true. So my main question is: Is there a safer way to enable Wii Themes?

When I try to add a new connection, my wii stays stuck on the “Searching for an access point…” screen, and when I try to connect to the network already on the Wii, it gives me error code 51330.

I’m on the vWii with my WiiU running Aroma and vWii running IOS58 v25.32 if that helps.

New to Wii

My original Wii will not for the life of it play smash bros. I've tried multiple discs over the years and comes back with a "read error" every single time. I think I played the game too hard back in the day and it just goes NOPE! So I bought a second Wii for smash bros only. I feel a little silly about it.. BUT I REALLY MISSED SMASH BROS. New wii plays smash bros just fine. My OG is just a hater I guess.

Anyone else have a finicky Wii who refuses to play one specific game?

Hello! And, let's be pretty straight forward.

WARNING, DON'T SKIP ANY STEP BECAUSE ALL OF THEM ARE NECESSARY, IF YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG, SAY BYE BYE TO YOUR SD CARD

Requirements:

Windows PC

SD Card (SD or SDHC, idk about SDXC yet though)

What you need to do?

1 - Open Diskpart.

To do that, press [Win] + R and type "cmd"

At the command prompt, "type diskpart".

2 - Actual SD Card problem solve.

Type "list disk" in the prompt.

A list should appear with your SD Card, I recommend removing any other thing removeable disk so your brain doesn't messed up.

Select the disk by typing "select disk <your disk>" (e.g. select disk 2)

3 - Type "clean" DO A BACKUP IF ANYTHING IMPORTANT IS INSIDE I REPEAT

This will format/clean your SD Card, preparing it for the conversion.

4 - Type "convert mbr"

It converts the SD Card to MBR, Wii's compatible partition.

5 - Do these commands:

"create partition primary" - Creates a primary partition.

"format fs=fat32 quick" - Formats to FAT32.

"assign" - Assigns a drive letter. (e.g. D:\)

There you go! Now put all the necessary files and be ready to some Wii sections!

As long as I know, this method only works for SD-SDHC, 2GB-64GB.

I bought a Wii off of eBay and it worked fine the day I got it. I went to turn it on later and while the power light turns green when pressed, it will not show any image on my TV. I can hear the gears turning when I press the eject button. The Wii remote also will not connect to the console and just flashes the lights at the bottom of the remote when I press a button. Does anybody know what's wrong with my Wii? I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the console multiple times but it still won't work. I am playing on an Roku TCL TV with a Wii to HDMI adapter. This is the 2nd Wii I've got that has worked and then suddenly stopped working, so could the HDMI adapter be bricking my systems?

Someone who has tried the official HORI USB ethernet adapter for Nintendo Switch on Wii can solve my doubt, please? Just that. I know the ugreen 2.0 adapters work, I just want to know about the HORI adapter on the Wii.

Finally got the black screen back to Homebrew problem solved. A big thank you to all those with suggestions and another to all developers for making the programs. All that said it was cios were right, I reinstalled the 4 from the guide including the one I missed. Working fine now even with backup discs. I also noticed my wireless connectivity problems gone??

Hello! I'm getting a wii soon (arriving tomorrow) and I just remembered that DS had some connectivity with it? I own a dslite (R4 card) and was wondering if I'm able to do anything with the two consoles together? Can you use the DS as a Wii classic controller of sorts?
