2009 CLS550 (~200,000km). A hole blew open in radiator end tank directly into left side intake tube. Engine ran fine just bringing it into the shop but further assesment is needed after replacing the rad and air filters and bringing it up to temp. Is this a common failure point? Local MB dealer said they have not seen it before. My theory is that it was a slow leak, customer reported that it overheated in a parking lot idling and not under load/driving. Also left side air filter may have waterlogged with coolant and air was pulled though right side (single throttle body after filters)
Slid in the snow today. What’s the damage boys
Appears to be original to the car (2011)
Oddly had no foul odour and still allowed air to pass through decently well
Not a super common issue in my experience, I have done a couple handfuls over the years. Left a nice puddle on the ground from sitting overnight
Fia
Not often do they pick up the parts for us though.
2013 Prius
Moving shops is hard guys, especially when you've gotta move big random unks of steel
Just rolled in....
Anyone ever seen fuel this color? They’re in for a hesitation problem (maxxforce 7) but I think found the culprit. Smells JUST like rebuilding a 2 stroke carburetor.
Needed to reduce the diameter of a bushing equally so employed the drill aswell to add to the dodginess
Me looking at the crossover pipe like :|
Definitely worth saving the 28€ to chnage the wheels.
Unbelievable GM prowess which leads to the bricking (eventually) of any Saab 93 from 03-2011! Master stroke.
Got many boost pressure related DTC’s, even with car not running. Previous shop diagnosed bad turbo, turns out to be bad wiring.
Plz ignore
