Context. I'm always losing my 10mm. Found this 9mm in a truck stop parking lot. Kinda like almost winning the lotto. I got hard for a second when I saw it but super soft when I saw the 9mm. Either way still happy. #freeisforme
Let him know we donāt work on āstartedā repairs. Still wanted me to give him a number so I throw out 6k as lift gate, bumper, and QP need to be replaced without even knowing how the rear body panel looks. Then asks if I can do it for $2k-$3k. No, sorry sir.
"customer states weird noice under car while driving."
Everything looks okay to me
Sounds more like a honking rubbing noise than something internal. Possibly flex plate rubbing housing? Or do you guys think internal engine wear? No change with oil cap removed so not aos failure
Had one of the springs for an axle seal get chewed up and needed to replace all the races and barring in a front diff. YouTube saves me thousands of dollars.
Squirrels. Customer said it was his daily driver and parked in the same spot every day. The hippie lady we gave them to said they were two weeks old already. Crazy that he was driving around for weeks and these things aren't dead. Guess it's just the right temperature above the transmission in the bumper.
No time to celebrate if you are stuck in the shop with a blown ball bearing. It fell apart as soon as I touched it...
Customer was aware for over a month before bringing it in.. lucky they have regenerative braking
And customer did mention he/she recently purchased it from auction and was complaining of horrible noises. Upon inspection, I was like oh what the fuck is this. Front driveshaft is gone! (I meant to say driveshaft, not differential in video. Oops) Also heard a grinding noise from transmission or transfer case when selecting wheel drive modes. Customer didnāt want any work done this to Jeep as they will be apparently selling it.
Glass company forgot to disconnect lane departure camera when cutting out old adhesive severed the harness and shorted it. Traveled through the CAN BUS and fried God only knows which module(s)..... That's next week's adventure to find out as we have the Easter long weekend and this was towed to us 15 mins before closing today!
Drive 20 miles, then be a Waiter for a catalytic converter. With what little respect is due, fuck you.
