This is a subreddit dedicated to the enjoyment, appreciation and discussion of the super affordable mode of transportation called the Chevy Corsica. We'll also technically allow discussion for the Chevy Beretta because they're basically the same car, but prepare to be shunned for being only half the car the Corsica is.

Welcome to the Chevy Corsica subreddit.

Feel free to post pictures of your Corsica, it's odometer, anything dumb you do with it, or any places you've taken it.

Stories of your Corsica are very much appreciated. Tell us about your wonderful economical machine.

Pictures & stories of the Beretta are allowed by the understanding that they are technically the same base car, but it's only half the car the Corsica was, so keep that in mind.

88 Chevy Beretta

My wife has a 88 Chevy beretta, with lots of minor problems. Car runs still ( last we checked about 6 months ago). Honestly we just need to get rid of it. Is there still interest in these cars, I think it would make a great parts car for a corsica since it has a rebuilt engine with low miles.

How to break into one (locked out)

So passenger exterior lock doesn’t work but the door handle does. The driver side handle got ripped off and the lock does work. My attempts so far have been to use a piece of flat iron to wiggle through the seal and move the part of the door handle that Engages with the mechanism closer to the outside and using a screwdriver to pull it the rest of the way forward to what I believe is the full open position and then using a second screwdriver to get in between the driver door and the left rear door and try and leverage it out. This isn’t really working or at least I’m not wrenching on the super icy door enough any other ideas would be very useful

[Beretta talk here] Can the GTU's body kit but put on a base model?

Can the Beretta GTU's body kit, Spoiler, Mirrors, etc. be removed and put onto a base model? Im looking into purchasing a GTU but it doesnt have a title or VIN, so I was hoping to take all the GTU stuff off and transfer it onto a Base model my dad owns.

[Problem]Temp gage rises and falls.

My temp gage stays around the the first 1/4 mark when I'm moving, and almost instantly rises to half way mark when I'm stopped for more than twenty or thirty seconds.

Where is the correct position for normal temp?

Any idea what it might be or had this issue? Gage? Thermostat? Fluids? Radiator?
