I've been thinking about slamming my 98 s10 but I don't know if that's a smart idea because of my roads
Bought new flasher/hazard relay, as one was bad, and after I figured out that was the issue, I have no desire to remove that many screws to get to it again.
The ones I bought from autozone are a “specifically fits your vehicle” match, however, they are about a 1/4 in bigger in diameter, and I cannot get both in. Any suggestions? Or should I order oem replaceements
Any issues I have a 02 4:3 auto 2wd an put 14in wheels on
Blazer 1992 4x4 less than 150k miles only thing wrong with the car is a broken digital cluster
Cruisin the coast was an absolute blast. My friend finally got done editing the photos. (there are 500+ edited photos so I’m shocked he got it done this quick) My truck proved to be the ultimate mobile camera platform for rollers. Had a great time with all three of my buddies plus my old man who did helped translate my truck from dream to reality. If you have never been, definitely worth going. (The other two cars are what my old man drove + my buddy’s nova)
Been learning how to drive standard in it and it’s a blast!
I'm taking on a 99 GMC Sonoma 4x4 4.3 auto, as I took the bolts out of the box they were all corroded and looking for replacements. The dealership is closed andni was wondering if anyone knows the size and thread pitch of the box bolts! I know they're a 15mm but the rest is a mystery. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated🤘🏻
Just 4.great and th400 transmission with 85mm turbski.
I have a 2000 regular cab short bed 2wd 2.2l and was wondering if it could pull a little a-frame camper? The marketplace ad says it weighs about 1200 lbs.
I'm looking for a light pewter metallic painted tailgate either from a parts truck or an aftermarket distributor. Also I'm in the market for a painted rear bumper. If anyone has any leads or info please feel free to leave a comment below. Thanks!
Hey there, I may be getting a 2001 Chevy s10 from my dad. The engine runs just fine but the transmission doesn't engage. I heard the best and easiest option is to just swap the transmission. I was wondering how hard that would be to do. My end goal is to have it fixed before Christmas because I want to give it my girlfriend as a gift. It would be her first vehicle.
Any ideas on how to get this bolt out? I tried drilling a hole and using ez out and snapped 2 of them ones still inside and I tried welding some nuts on it but they just snapped off too. Or where I could find an intake manifold she’s a 91 4.3. I’ve pretty much lost hope of getting the bolt out
Hey Guys,
As the heading says, I'm about to swap in a 5.7 Vortec from a chevy Tahoe 4x4 into my 1987 Chevy S10 standard cab long bed, however my truck is 2wd, so I'll be selling that 4l60e and transfer case. What transmissions will bolt onto the Vortec? I know that a 4l60 will but is that the best option for a street truck that will probably end up making about 400ish HP? Will the stock torque converter be good enough? Who makes a good crossmember for the aforementioned trans or does it even matter? And will the stock driveshaft fit till i get a better one? Thanks guys
I am shoppinf around online for a new fuel pump for my 2003 s10 4.3L and have found a huge variance in prices.
Some have been $35.49, $69.95, $134.79, $174.99, and even $303.49
I'm pretty much avoiding the $35 and $69 ones cause there is no way those can be good, and was leaning towards the $174 one because I woulnd't have to splice any wires. But is there a good reason why there's some that go all the way up to $303?
Hi there, I want to buy a 2003 2 door Blazer, but it hasn't the optional rear windshield wiper and defroster. The Blazer's rear windshield is inclined a bit, so maybe it is similar as with a sedan/coupe and won't get dirty so much and the rain flows down naturally. Can someone confirm this?
I will most likely be replacing my fuel pump by moving the bed and I am going to assume that the bolts are rusted in place and will need to be tapped out. I can't find the size of the bolts that connect the bed to the frame, does anyone know the size of the 8 bolts?

New here, but I have a 99 S10 in pewter (probably most common color that I've seen in my area) and it has a set of moon cap steelies on it. They appear to be powder coated grey but its flaking off and just look terrible. I want to repaint them but unsure of color as nothing looks good with my trucks paint color. Just want opinions before I try and start the process. Can get pics of them if needed.
I’m doing a motor swap on a 00 Chevy s10 with a 2.2 4CL. Can I do I swap with a 98 2.2 4CL from a s10. I would have to change the intake and exhaust in the new motor with the old one I think is what I was told because of different EGR systems. Is it possible or do I need to keep looking?
I want to remove these side pieces but don’t know a good way to remove or if I even can. Any suggestions?
Just like it says early year 96 revival replaced tc motor and switch. 1996 sle 4.3 4l60e. Light came on the switch for 4 high i hear it switch under glove box. Fuse blew. Fuses inline at module arnt blown but theirs only two our of the three with fuses. Any ideas? I will replace ecm if I have too but as last resort.
So few months back when I received a settlement from an insurance company from my car accident I decided to fix the ac system on my truck. I installed a new ac compressor and a new blower motor. So it was running smoothly until about a week ago when suddenly my fan gave out and just stopped turning back on. I thought it might have been the ac resistor so I changed it and nope nothing happened so then I went ahead and check all the fuses and also made a stop by AutoZone to replace the blower motor I had just installed 3 months ago. Turns out it also wasn’t the blower motor. So now the problem is that the fan doesn’t turn on at any level I attempt to turn it onto. But the ac does work. Could it be that the climate control module is the problem to this issue? Let me know what you think down below please any suggestions and and thoughts on this are highly appreciated. Thank you.
