Hello all, I bought a 2000 ZR2 and I'm wondering if anyone has information on the entire fuel system? The pick up has been sitting a long time and I want to go through the entire fuel system.
Hey all, I'm trying to find a set of bed rail covers for my 2000 GMC Sonoma extended cab. Can't seem to find any that are a perfect fit besides one expensive set on Amazon. I didn't think it would be this hard to find pieces of plastic when so far I've had good luck finding new things for this truck lol. Are there bed rail covers for any other truck beds that will fit even if they need to be shortened?
Ideally I would like a set for both sides and for the front/tailgate as well. I can have the rails cut to the right length if needed just looking for a proper fit on the width of the rails if that makes sense!
I have a tri-fold topper coming in the mail to cover the bed so it's not the end of the world if I can't find the rail covers but it would be nice to have both. The bed liner doesn't have sides but its in great shape so I don't want to change that. Thanks for looking, any suggestions are greatly appreciated :)
Anyone do a 9011/12 conversion? What halogen bulbs would you recommend?
Pulled the 2.2 and swapping in a LM7 5.3 to pair with the T5 trans. If you guys want me to update you, I can. I’m trying to have this thing done by the end of the month and I’m doing all the work by myself.
Seems to be a common problem with these trucks huh
1995 GMC Sonoma 2.2L 4 cylinder. Engine blew 2 cylinders (what i was told. Haven't taken the engine out to find the real problem yet.) Regardless. Doesn't run and might need a new engine. Long story shot im having a very hard time finding the same engine and im not even sure what other engines you can put/fit in this so im open to ideas. I do not want to let er go just yet. I've only had her for like 3 months and she's a fun nifty lil girl. Thanks in advance.
Hello, I have a 1994 single cab short bed s10 and I would like to know if theirs anyway I could make my truck 4x4. It has some sentimental value and I plan on engine swapping it feel like having it be 4x4 before would be good. I am looking at blazers as donor vehicles for things like automatic doors, headlights, and rear disc brakes if possible. I would just like to know if a 4x4 conversion would be possible beforehand so I can purchase a blazer that has 4x4 capability.
Thank you In advance! and sorry kinda new to more advanced stuff.
What are the brightest / best 9005 halogens for downroad visibility? Looking to keep factory housings.
Just picked this one up, temp gauge doesn't move and there is a wire hanging near the sender. Any ideas what the wire was to?
Hello i have a 03 s10 extended cab short bed, i want to put a roof rack on it. I was wondering if a shortened s10 blazer factory rack would work.
I have a 1990 s10 blazer that I'm buying some front end parts for and some of the parts say w/ ABS and w/o ABS. I see online I might only have rear ABS. Is it common for a 90 to have front ABS and where should I check to see if I have it?
My s10 shut off on me the other day in the driveway and wouldn’t cut back on. As of right now none of the lights work except for instrument panel indicator lights. It does crank and has spark, but it’s not getting fuel because it isn’t getting power. What I did figure out is when I run a power wire from the positive terminal on the battery directly to the distribution block on the left side of the firewall. Everything works properly and the truck runs fine.
What is the fix to get this thing on the road again? Thank you
I made a video about my S10
As said by previous post planning on swapping from bench to leather bucket seats. How did I install a centre console, or is there no way to?
Was at the wrecker a little bit ago, saw a nice pair of Leather powered seats. Thinking about upgrading. Problem is, my 01 Sonoma has no power seats. Anyone do a non power to power swap?
EDIT: I have the 60/40 front bench seats
I want to install a nv3500 in my 00 zr2 what parts will i need
2003 4.3L rwd
I just replaced my tie rods (inner and outer), adjusting sleeves, idler arm, pitman, and centerlink. When i went to drive it back to my parking spot and i noticed the turning was way off, enough that turning into my spot i had to reverse and do it twice because it wouldnt turn the full way. It felt very loose and would sometimes runble a bit. I've had enough of it for tonight so i havent looked at it really and will try ideas tomorrow. This is before any alignment because its a bit too sketchy to drive down to the auto shop in my mind.
Getting this junk close
Hey all, truck started idling rough and the engine light was flashing, I did notice a burning smell as well... which was concerning. Hooked up my code reader and P300 is multiple misfires... so I suspect the problem should exist somewhere between fuel pump and spark plugs.
I did check over at s10forms already, so I have a fair idea what I'm dealing with but I'm wondering if any of you have had a P300 code experience? What's the best case scenario? Worst case scenario? Any general advice?
Thanks all!
A few months ago, I purchased a 2000 GMC Jimmy with 117000 kilometers on it. It's in incredible condition, but being an older vehicle, I’ve started experiencing some issues. Recently, the turn signal clicker has begun making sounds even when I'm not using it and just driving straight. I did a bit of research and noticed a purple wire hanging down under my pedals. Does anyone know what this wire might be or how I can fix the issue?
I have a 2.2l 5spd and I wanna know how much it would cost to convert it into a 4.3 liter 5 spd
Any guess or ballparks?
Hi While the front wheel turns, a kind of rubbing noise is heard as each turn is completed. I changed the brake pads so it shouldn't be that. It's not a continuous noise, so I assume it's not the bearings. The noise persists even with the truck raised. It is a S10 High Country 2018 4x4 automatic transmission Would anyone know what it could be? Thanks English is not my native language, sorry for any inconvenience.
