Anyone have any experience with their camlocks? Or the business in general? Ordered my cam lock tool 3 weeks ago and still no progress on the shipment
Haven't slept all night while randomly brainstorming bs. Theoretically, could I fit a s14 or 15 front bumper and lights in a sc300 and look good?
Grandfather's Mazda 808 (4 Cylinder Petrol Engine) It hasn't run for 3-4 years, but I believe it ran fine before it was parked. I can't find any service/owners manuals online, and I don't have much practice working on cars. I do help my mechanic and ask questions and learn stuff from him. i also maintain my car (2012 Kia Rio) by checking the fluid levels and stuff regularly.
I live in a different country so I can't check the car properly yet. I'll list my current plan on all the precautions I plan to take before cranking it, either manually or using the starter. So please guide me on what else I should know and learn about before trying to start it.
Please feel free to ask me any questions regarding my knowledge about stuff that'll help you give me sufficient advice.
So here goes my list:

G'day. I've been constantly smoking myself by having my daily as my 'project'(not much you can do when you need the car multiple times a day haha) and I've decided that it's time to get a secondary vehicle with the sole purpose of refurbishing/modifying.
I'm interested in getting something from 1988-early 2000s Japanese (Honda, SSS Pulsar, Subaru) or the same era VW Golf/GTI or Audi.
I'm reasonable with a spanner and keen to learn on the way.
I'd love to hear what you guys would suggest from these parameters? I don't need it to be overly fast, just fun but I do want something that has durability and or ease of maintenance/repair. I'm in Australia.
Currently looking at 96 Golf (2 door!, manual) and an 03 Forester XT turbo.

Howdy, I have a 1993 Ford Escort that I am working on. It currently has no airbags and automatic seatbelts that are broken. I was looking into getting new seats with a harness but I wanted to know if that would be safer than the factory seatbelts + no airbags. I cannot find my answer on google so now I turn to you reddit.
Have you ever bought a project car with no title? If so, in what state, and how did it turn out?
I've never had the guts to buy a project car with no title. I have purchased two with what I would call "title issues." One title was left "open," aka signed over but never put in the name of the person I was buying from. One was just the title, and I had to track down the previous owner and get them to sign it over to me. Both scenarios gave me pause, were a source of stress, and could've been a heap of trouble, but they turned out OK.
I'm in Texas, by the way. Has anyone ever had to get a bonded title? Or just had a bill of sale? How did everything turn out? Would you ever do it again?
How do I remove the plugs on the carburetor to access adjustment screws? The top one covers an adjustment screw and I cannot access it from the backside.
I sketched out a car idea that I really liked the different parts of and I have ideas/ the want to try to build it. I already 3d modeled the entire body, and some of the mechanical components (I don’t trust that part at all). My idea for the body is to 3d print all the parts separately a slightly scaled down size, plastic weld them, then coat them in bondo, sand it down to smooth. Then I’d use carbon fiber and resin to make the actual body panels, then I’d chip off the bottom (printed parts and bondo) to have the different body panels, bumpers etc. it’s something I would love to do, to have my own that I made, but I feel like I have my limitations and I want peoples opinions.
Reupholstering the seats of my 1972 Opel GT today. So far so good 👍🏽
I know there’s some amazing builds with not a lot of subscribers. There may be some popular ones I haven’t found yet though. Post your favorites!
Hey all,
Does anyone know where would be a good place to find replacement axles for a rear diff that has been shortened?
Here's a video to clarify what we're going for: Example
I was wondering how could i paint steel wheels chrome, there are selling cheap chrome rim spraypaint but would it last long? hello guys so I just bought a tig machine and im fixing up my exhaust and I have a question.
I've got an inline 6 engine with two 3 -> 1 headers, I want to make a Y pipe on the two engings (2X2" -> 1X2.5") and I want to place a flex pipe somewhere there as it's pretty much the only place to do it, do you guys think it'll be okay in that position? most flex pipes are on a downpipe and mine will be 50CM behind th start of the exhuast.
or should I just fuck it? as I've never had a flex pipe and nothing broke.
