So recently i want to start playing fallout 4 again (y'all know the reason) and i want to use some mods, but i can't login and it keep saying that i can't connect to the bethesda.net. my friend said that it might be because my ps4 aand the disc region is different and i do some research that said fallout 4 have problems in asian region. Does anybody have the same problem with me? Is it really because of these region stuff?
Wanted to replay through 76 since the show came out. Went to download the Bethesda installer to find that it was discontinued in 2022( I haven't played since the first update with NPCs, probably 2020). I find there's a way to transfer your library to your steam account. Sweet.
Accounts won't link error. I find this is a common issue. Contact customer support. 2 days pass. They claim I already have a steam account associated with my Bethesda account and that I should unlink them (Already tried this by the way, its how I found the customer support link to begin with!). I email back and say I've never linked anything before, I haven't even played since before linking to steam was even an option.
4 days pass and they say I have an account linked and they instructed me to download the 8GB The Elder Scrolls Legends and find the BUID in the game and send it to them so they can unlink the accounts. The email said they'd respond back if there is any other information they need to unlink accounts. I KNOW for a fact I've never used the Bethesda installer for anything but 76. What more information could they possibly need? Will I need to download daggerfall next?
What kind of convoluted buggy BS is this? They should have launched 76 on steam to begin with but didn't want to pay steam their cut of launch sales. Years later when they can't maintain their launcher they can't even let people who paid full price for their game at launch play without downloading one of their shovelware cash grabs.
This is absolutely maddening from a company as well off as Bethesda. I've had issues with small indie games that have seamlessly been resolved in an hour. Even though I haven't played in years, I always defend 76 against people who only seem to focus on the shit show of a launch it had.
Maybe one day...
Idk if it was because I blamed it for eso 6 still being so far away so I had some kind of bias but after picking it up again and actually getting past the starter missions I’m having a blast 🚀
You wait to add ultrawide to the game which will wipe out all modders progress and mods. Lets be real BETHESDA MODDERS have made you... You dont care about us or anyone just dollars
Can thus become a thing... like fallout monopoly would be amazingly fun
Hi hope to get answers here, so i bought the game on steam about 4 yrs ago and i manged to play it for like 2 days, then i got a little bored and started to mess with the game console but i remember having difficulties to open it, so i searched online for a response and i found a video that basically said that to resolve my problem i would have to change some value in my game files, and i did so. After that i tried to re-open my game it just wouldnt start and i dont know why, i even tried to re install the game but nothing i searched online but yet nothing. Then i got really bored to try and fix this and i didnt cared till now and now i'm really determined to fixing this. Thanks and i hope to receve some replies and fix my problem.
Will the ps4 dlcs run for ps5 or do they need to be specifically “PS5” … ??
hopped bacl on fo76 aftera couple years and discovered my username is a randomly generated trash name and nothing like my display name on my bethesda.net profile. ive tried linking my steam profile but i am unable to. i tried logging into another account with a different email, the one my steam account has, and my bethesda account has 2 emails attached to it and im confused and annoyed coz i hate my name being fantasticbear20104. im also pissed at bethesd'a absolutely useless excuse for customer support. any tips on how to link ym steam profile?
With 2025 having upcoming and some amazing games arecoming out. I was thinking if I’d rather have another fallout game a new Skyrim game or possibly a new original title? With all of the recent fallout popularity I’ve come back to NV and Fo3 and can’t say I wouldn’t mind another fallout game with some modern day improvements but then I think about how great a new Skyrim game would be too. I know we had that Elder Scrolls 6 teaser a long time ago but at this point I’m stuck between fallout and a new elder scrolls game. And would love to hear everyone else’s thoughts and opinions on a new Bethesda title.
I have been trying to log in for the past 30 minutes, triple checked username, reset password five different fucking times and this dogshit shitshow of a site still says that username or password are incorrect. Any tips on how to deal with this dumpster fire of a customer service from a multibillion dollar company?
In honor of the new show and people flocking back to Fallout, I just wanted to make my list ranking these games. Fallout 76 and ESO are excluded, as well as the older ES games and original Fallout games. I would love to see your lists and why you ranked certain games!
The amount of hours I have poured into this game on all the different platforms is insane. My brother and I were obsessed with this game for years, and I accredit this game for sparking my love for most of the Bethesda games. Til this day, I still do occasional playthroughs and im still discovering new things about it. The DLC was also perfect. I think it was truly ahead of its time.
My only gripe with this game is there’s no post main story line gameplay. But this entire game, story, and world is chefs kiss. The only reason it’s at number 2 and not 1 is because I just prefer the Elder Scrolls universe over Fallout.
I understand most people will have this at number 1, but the fact I experienced Oblivion in its prime before the release of Skyrim just makes me realize that Oblivion was ahead of its time and Skyrim was fitting for its time. I remember being so excited about a new ES release, I put many hours in Skyrim on my 360. I also remember not saving regularly and getting stuck in a dwarven cave with no escape, thus ending my first ever playthrough prematurely. This game is truly iconic though, and I always have my annual Skyrim obsession happen in the winter months and still love just how many hours you can put into this game without it feeling purposeless.
I am currently on the Fallout hype train because of the show and am doing a new play through. The usual Bethesda bugs and glitches make this game hilarious at times, although I’m not a fan of the dialogue system. I also wish the base building felt more useful during the story. I never feel obligated to get into the base building aspect of the game until I’ve finished most of the quests and have nothing to do. The game is amazing though, and the combat is so fluid. I’m a huge fan of not having to use VATS on every single enemy combatant. Also, Valentine is the best companion, I’ll die on that hill.
This game sparked the Fallout craze and should be credited for building a solid fan base. The story is imo the best out of all the games on this list. Not a bad game at all, but compared to the games I have ahead of it I would say it’s properly placed.
Out of all the titles I have listed, this is the only one I don’t have multiple playthroughs on. It may not belong in 6th place, but I just don’t have enough hours on the game to rank it any higher. I am familiar with the story and the basic ins and outs of the game, and I’ve probably started a playthrough a dozen or so times. Just never felt compelled enough to finish one.
This list and description is a product of me being bored at work. I’m interested to see how other people make their lists
Fallout 3 was my first Bethesda game and then Oblivion a few years later and I remember being shocked that I couldn't dismember people like in Fallout 3. I thought playing with swords and such would make dismemberment more likely.
Why does this concept not understood by BGS 😂
Where do I access my followed mods on bethesda.net? For fallout 4 specifically
You could totally sell fallout 4 dlc where you buy new radio stations and have to go on quests to recover the music for the DJ from the ruins of record labels and music stores. Or recover music from a tribe of super mutants who thinks it's sacred. You could do anything. Hell start your own radio station in Fallout where you're the DJ that'd be cool too.
Imagine the hype if Bethesda put out more Skyrim DLC. They should be putting out Skyrim DLC until elder scrolls 6 comes out that would make the wait so much better. Think about how popular Skyrim is why not more DLC? That's called leaving money on the table.
Hey there Buds,
Please take a minute to check out my trailer for my upcoming, never-seen before, detective series! Watch the Mystery of New Vegas unfold in front of your and Detective I.C. Berger's eyes in this lighthearted series!
The game won't even launch if the DLC is downloaded on PlayStation. Considering the shows release I would hope a 8 year old game would be less bugged then release day but what do I know, I'm just a fan.
might be too close to what rule 8 is I'm sorry, i have access to fallout 76 but dislike my username, wanted to unlink for my other account but i don't know what email the acc is connected to. i also lost my emails recently and don't know which one it could be for me to hunt down to log into to reset password. any ideas?
