Welcome
FalloutSettlements is a subreddit devoted to expanding the creativity of Settlement building in Fallout 4. Come here to look for inspiration for a build theme, a creative way to build in a location, or solve a tricky building problem. Challenge yourself to something new! Share your builds, ask your questions, and help the community!
Rules:
1. No Hate Speech No homophobia, racism, hate speech, etc.
2. Be Kind To Your Fellow Builders If you don't have anything nice to say, you probably shouldn't be saying it. Please keep your criticisms constructive, and don't bash other players. This also applies to your speech; please refrain from using hate speech or making hurtful comments.
3. Don't Double (or triple even) Post While you can post updates to any WIPs, please refrain from reposting your finished builds. Instead, please create a photo gallery (such as on imgur) to include all of your photos in one place. Duplicate posts will be considered spam (which isn't cool on any subreddit).
4. No Fighting If someone breaks the rules, please report it or reach out to one of the moderators. Fighting is never the way to go, especially not on the internet.
5. No Memes Everyone knows the jokes, they aren't funny any more!
6. No Selling While your builds may be lovely, you cannot try and sell anything in-game for real money here.
Tips:
Please post screenshots taking during the daytime making it easier to see the image. Of course, night-time images are allowed, but try to include at least some day-time images as well.
When on PC, you can take pictures from better angles using the "tcl" or "tfc" command in the console. Press the ~ key, then type "tlc/tfc" and press Enter. Do the same to return to the regular camera.

So I met Machete Mike at the tannery and he offered 2000 caps for the tools. I told him I was there for the Mariner and refused his offer. Now I was going to get 450 vs 2000, but I gave my word to Mariner and that was more important, so I refused his offer. BTW Nick like that. What would you have done?
I’m looking for a list of build items and their respective polygon counts. Specifically furniture, but help for any buildable objects would be appreciated.
I saw a youtuber do it and i believe it to be a mod? If so anyone have any idea what mod was used?
I'm only just establishing the basics of this and figuring it out, but I. AM. SO. EXCITED about how this is turning out. So excited I didn't even think to look up how to change the time of day with the console, LOL. Pyramid walls are church roof pieces from Snappy, Glass is from the High tech section of Snap'n'Build. Each floor is warehouse height, and I'm planning to have individual rooms be Sim Settlements 2 interior plots.
Not as space-efficient as a step pyramid, but I'm planning to tear down the Abernathy homestead and build a step pyramid opposite this one.
Happy Thanksgiving to this in the US! In the spirit of the holiday, I decided to release this as extra content out of my normal cycle. A link to the camp showcase is in the description if you're interested in seeing the finished product. Thank you to those who have watched and enjoyed my builds over the years, and stay blessed!
Please note that since I made this tutorial in advance (pre-update) cattails can not be placed on roofs currently. However, grass roofs still do a great job if you overlap them to hide the roof lines.
I felt bad for Deezer because I killed everybody in covenant. so I decided to make him a lemonade stand
