I wanted to know of a mod that makes it possible for me to turn the camera to my character's front body so that I can see him.

Usually when I try to do this, the character turns with the camera so it's not possible to see the front.

Could anyone tell me of the mod?

So just downloaded oblivion and spent my whole life only playing Skyrim from the ES series… any general advice or tips for Oblivion? I’m a massive lore & story lover but know basically nothing about oblivion or what to expect (apart from getting used to the graphics)

Okay. I’ve searched everywhere, I’ve searched this sub, and nothing to my exact problem has come up. I’m doing the Vampire Cure Quest, infamous for how buggy the damn thing is.. wretched really. Anyway, I’ve done everything, up to the part where Janus tells you to give him a day to grieve. I’ve come back to Castle Skingrad after the 24 hours, tried talking to his Steward, but all she does is repeat that line that is my title. The Count hangs around the County Hall and goes back to his private quarters repetitively. Whenever I try to interact with him, all he says is “please, go.” As if the 24 hours aren’t finished. I tried breaking into his quarters, same thing. I’ve tried attacking the steward, same thing. It’s been around 4 in game days and my last save is 2 hours ago after a bunch of total bs that I’d seriously rather not repeat. The game gets away from me and I forget to save, which I usually do religiously. Now, does anyone know a fix to my particular situation where either party refuses to speak to me and the game acts like time is frozen? It’s reaaalllyyyy frustrating me. Makes me not even want to play tbh and I was really enjoying this file. I haven’t done any of the other quests regarding Count Hassildor.

Hey everyone, I made a stealth archer in Oblivion, running the ultimate levelling mod so I don't have to worry about efficient levelling.

Made my character with the intentions of getting the Morag Tong armor set, which I have been running. Also running a mod so my gear levels with me.

getting a little tired of running this armor and am going to make a full set of amber armor and want to know some good armor enchantments to run for higher difficulties.

Currently level 18 right now. Running a standard stealth archer, nothing too fancy, No magic, but primary focus is light armor, marksman, sneak and alchemy. I'm a master or marksman, expert in sneak and a journeyman in alchemy. Can't make super strong poisons yet.

Last time I played an archer build was way back before i ever learned what efficient levelling was. Got tired of doing that kind of playthrough and found a really good levelling mods that solved those problems for me. Now i'm just looking into what kind of armor enchantments i should be focusing on.

I'm level 80 in destruction, i have been farming it. The problem is when i started playing i used to shoot 4 fireballs to kill a wolf, i was level 30 at destruction, now i'm level 80 and it still takes 4 fire balls, i fell like i'm not getting stronger. I've read in this sub that the game leveling system is broken, is it that? How do I become a strong mage? Help

I remember playing oblivion on Xbox a long time ago and I saw the Gray Fox running around in Cheydinhal being chased by guards. I was amazed because I had no idea this was possible to see him just out and about. I saved the game to see if I could keep seeing what happens in case he runs away (which he did he was super fast). When I loaded the save he wasn't there.

It feels like a fever dream because I haven't seen anywhere where people had the same experience but I remember it so clearly. So please tell me, has anyone had a random encounter with the Gray Fox?

ive installed oco patches, i tried installing blockhead both through vortex AND manually and its in the right spot BUT IT WONT WORK its driving me crazy!!! there was a point where i had it working BUT ONLY FOR MY CHARACTER! and ive got obse so i dont see the problem... can someone help me?

I'm a long-time Elder Scrolls fan, but I've never gotten into Oblivion. I want to, and I've tried to in the past and failed. I figured I should ask people who *do* like it what makes it click for them.

Skyrim was my first ES game, and I played it when it came out. I enjoyed it a lot and looked into the rest of the series. I played Oblivion a bit, but it didn't grab me, so I moved on. I played Morrowind and loved it, it became my favourite entry in the series by a lot. I tried Daggerfall and liked it, I enjoyed Redguard as well. I've come back to Oblivion several times, but I only beat the main quest once and it felt like a chore. It's sad because I know so many people love this game, and I feel like there's a gap in my TES experience.

Compared to the other entries in the series, Oblivion to me feels bland and generic. It doesn't have the character, mechanical quality, or role-playing potential of earlier entries, and it doesn't have the adventure potential and streamlining of Skyrim. I must be missing something because it feels like Oblivion has nothing going for it. Like everything it has is done better by a different TES game.

I'm coming back to Oblivion one more time, what have I been missing? What makes Oblivion "click" for you? What can I do to enjoy this game more?

Hi. I go by Marksman and I am a massive fan of Skyrim. I started streaming last week and thought I could do a full play through of Oblivion on stream since i’ve never played it before! Is there any advice yall could give me on the game? I’ll be playing it today

I don't own any version of Oblivion on steam yet, and I want to get the Game of the Year Deluxe edition (the one with all the DLC's instead of just two). But the Deluxe edition is not available. When I looked it up on reddit, some people were saying that it's because the Deluxe edition no longer exists and they rolled all the deluxe content into the normal Game of the Year edition (Steam description only lists the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine though, when I checked). Is this bundle a waste of a dollar?

EDIT: I'm not asking if it's worth it to get the dlcs, I'm asking if this bundle will give me the dlcs since the deluxe edition is unavailable and can't be viewed on the website (and whether the non-deluxe edition now comes with what the deluxe edition used to have since I saw some people say so).

I am on xbox and I have been playing Oblivion lately, and I decided to do some glitches. I did the infinite money and some duping. I like playing stealth and doing what I want with no issues. I came across the infinite chameleon and stats glitch. I have the sigil stone that gives 10% chameleon, I have duped it about 30 times. I have rings and amulets I have duped. I can't seem to figure out how to do the infinite glitch though. I have watches some videos, so you would think I would be able to, but everytime I do what they say the rings end up saying I can't equip them at this time. Permanently. Can someone maybe explain it a little better step by step? Maybe I will understand it then.
