After the (frankly absurd) shuttering of Arkane Austin earlier this year, a few people came together to put together an appreciation/farewell zine for their games, including Redfall. A couple weeks before the rug was pulled out from under us and Redfall was canned, a couple family members and I started playing... It was said we could continue playing multiplayer together but have been unable to do so. Is multiplayer impossible now? We had just made it out of the starter map and were really having fun with this game...

Instead I'm sat here thinking on what could've been and feeling really disappointed in Xbox and Bethesda

I'm just curious if there's any way to unlock the outfits etc that came with the deluxe version of the game, either legitimate or "legitimate". I'd be willing to pay for them but they don't seem to be available anymore.

Hey everybody, and sorry to interrupt. We are trying to accomplish all Redfall´s achievements on XBOX. We are for now three confirmed, but we need another one to make 4 in order to accomplish that Friends´till the end achievement.

So, anyone whose missing that one or collect all Redfalls is interested?

I'm on xbox. There is absolutely no one on looking for groups. The people I do play games with usually won't even give Redfall a chance because of things they've heard. I personally love this game. It's sad to see so much potential go down the drain, so I play it here and there. I don't think I've even finished it completely. Anyway, if anyone's interested my gt is exactly the same.

Hi! Downloaded this game on Game Pass and would love to try it out, however every time I launch the game crashes on me very shortly after. I've made it to the menu screen a couple times, but it always crashes usually right away and even has completely froze my PC a few times. I've made sure my graphics drivers are up to date, I've verified game files and even reinstalled a couple times. I'm running on a pretty high on end rig, with an RTX 4080. Also have messed a little with changing some settings in my Nvidia Control Panel but no luck.

Any advice or things I could try that maybe others have also had similar problems?

It's not perfect. But it's fun and I love the ambiance. I'm from the east coast. The scenery looks like so many east coast towns that serve as the setting in a Stephen King book. Think "Salem's Lot" or "It".

My Friend and I are having diffculty going back to our 25hr campaingn on Xbox. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Clear cache.
We made new characters, we both alternate in hosting and things work . Solo play is fine on both side.
We dont know what to do and how to solve it.
Any recommendations to solve this is appreciated, Thanks

so the title, just did an elder nest and got the buff that heals me with assault rifle dmg and got happy about that since maenad is my favorite gun in the game but, I also got an unrivaled handgun from the nest that has a buff that gives me extra dmg and healing when I get damaged while holding the gun and I noticed when I switched to the gun the elder shard buff went away and never came back..

I kniw theres shit all that can be done to this but just a warning, if you get a shard buff you really like, DO NOT equip unrivaled gun that gives you some perk/buff too because it will cancel the heart shard buff..

Since today Redfall (xbox) automatically goes into solo offline mode for me, the problem is that I am currently playing it in co-op with my sister. And it is not possible for me to go online. All other games work in multiplayer, Nat is also open and generally the internet connection doesn't seem to

So, i made a somekind of review a few days ago. By that time, i had nit been to Burial Point yet, but now i am and i have explored most zones and environments, and read some in-game documents.

So, if im not mistaken, the vampires in general and the gods in particular have some kind of telepathic powers that make them sometimes communicate with humans. In case of the Black Sun, if you look at the eclipse, as some Simon Guide established. They use it mostly to reinforce their power and dominance above them and even with other regular vampires.

They can lead humans to make horrible and even disturbing acts just to survive a few days at most or to transform them into vampires. Just look at the Blackwood sisters for example, or even Joe Creelman, a man willing to sacrifice their own wife and child to the cults.

The point i´m going into it´s that Redfall touches themes that could fit some kind of horror genre: cults, a new predator (vampires) and apex-and-borderline-sociopathic predator (Vampire deities),>! child experimentation and abuse, human sacrifices!<, even neighbours and even families turning against each other just to survive...

I´m not talking abt and not even comparing Redfall with masterpieces of that genre, but i think if Arkane would have attached the game to a more horror or borderline horror experience, it would have been quite interesting.

Also, and knowing Arkane and their focus on the players freedom, imagine if we had the chance to join the vampires at the very end of the game. Instead of recuing survivors, leading them to the cults. Just think abt the vampires communicating to us at very points in the game trying to convice us to join them, experimenting vampiric powers, telling us (or manipulating us) why they had to do the experiments, establishing the main dilemma of the game (it would have been pretty similar to Prey): What are the limits to the progress? Are you willing to sacrifice your humanity in exchange of overcoming human´s phisical limits?

By the Balck Sun initial dialogue of the game ("the rest is conviced to let you die, but i want you to join me"), i think this could have been an initial direction of the game. Or it´s just me imagining things.

NA player wanting to play online with my friend in Europe. Is this possible?

I just downloaded the game through Game Pass, and it won't recognize my xbox one controller. I don't have any issues with any other games, and I made sure that steam was closed before launching it.

Any suggestions would be helpful. TIA

Hi to everyone, i am writing this post just to ask if there are some players to fullfill all achievements in Redfall on XBOX, mostly regarding some cooperative ones such as characters trust and similar.

I began my adventure on Redfall a few weeks ago, i am as well a “veteran” in Arkane Studios’ games. I played the whole Dishonored Saga, Prey and Deathloop.

I didn’t played Redfall on release cuz i was really pissed of the fact that you needed registration on Bethesda.net to actually play the game.

But i decided to give it a chance, more so with the news of the Austin Studio shutting down and the release of patchs. I have to say i am REALLY suprised and engaged with the universe the devs had created.

Its not a masterpiece, but i expected a mess and a disaster of the story. Instead, i found themes such as the loose of humanity, greed and the fact that you don’t have to be a vampire to be a monster (the gods and such). Its really engaging sometimes, you want to explore and know what had happened in Redfall.

The ambience in interiors had me really tense sometimes, more so if you take into account that you have a powerful character, but not an invincible one, and vampires do make a ton of damage. Vampires are not scary by themselves but the sounds, the fact that you feel that you are hunted by everyone makes the tension to rise in some moments, mostly w more powerful enemies.

I had the opportunity to play w some other kind users its multiplayer and i think its kinda fun, not the best but there it is.

So, here i am, trying to fullfill all achievements the game has!

So I just realized we don't have crafting,like to reroll stats,and another downside is we don't have stash too
