In 2077 they voted my city the worst place to live in America. Main issues? Sky high rate of violence, and more people living below the poverty line than anywhere else.
Can't deny it, it's all true, but everybody still wants to live here. This city's always got a promise for you.. Might be a lie, an illusion, but it's there, just around the corner.
And it keeps you going.

I noticed that after the parade, Redwood Market in Japantown stays pretty much abandoned. What's more is that the few NPCs that are left just stand there and some even spawn on top of each other.
So I was wondering, does it stay like this for the rest of the game? And if so, is there any debug commands on PC I can use to either restore the market to its pre-"Play It Safe" state or to complete that mission without the market ever changing in the first place?
I don’t think there are any spoilers here but marking just to be safe.
So on my first play through I accidentally stumbled into the DFTR ending and, since I had a stealth pistol build, I almost immediately got flatlined.
I’m finishing my second play through now (also pistol assassin so probably not a good DFTR fit) and thinking about my next build with the aim of doing DFTR.
Obviously I need to do more of a sandy or berserk build with lots more body and tech (currently my dump stats) but in terms of weapons proficiency, I’m worried about running out of ammo with any gun build, but don’t really want to go full melee either since I’m sure there will be flying drones, snipers, and other distance targets, to say nothing of just crowd control and cover.
Also, aside from the build, how do I practice using the build. Just waking up each morning and choosing violence doesn’t seem like it will be enough. Maybe I need to pick fights with MaxTac? Are there any other respawning places to pick fights? Maybe Arasaka waterfront and Dogtown?
Does anyone else have issues with ADS sensitivity on xbox where changing the settings seems to have little to no effect? I'm stuck with wildly sensitive ADS making the game unplayable. Anyone else had this issue and have a fix for it? From what I can see it's not a common issue.
(Also my controller software is up to date)
That is all.
Did a search on here and saw it can be dropped on previous versions but I must’ve killed that unit 30-50 times and nothing yet.
Someone have like a full pfp for this i think ive seen it somewhere
For context I’m playing a nomad V and done all of Panam’s side quest while making sure to also unlock the (don’t fear) the reaper ending. I want it to be somewhat lore accurate for a nomad. So should I ask the aldecaldos for help or should I do the (don’t fear) the reaper ending?
Note: I’m on ps4 and cyberpunk only goes up to update 1.61
So to do a delamain quest i need like 14 intelligence and i am at 12. I'm level 50 so i can't level up anymore. Is my only option to respec? Or is there a way around this?
I think I’m doing a great job of driving fast and evading or destroying the gangoons that come after me, but the mission auto-fails when I’m about halfway there. What am I doing wrong chooms?
I'm torn, I'd rather assist Songbird and make Johnny proud by "taking it to the man" by helping her escape, but on the other hand I'm pretty certain she is absolutely secretly insane and Reed is a pretty cool guy. So I'm basing my choice solely on the rewards. I siding with So-Mi nets you a piece of cyberware while helping Reed can get you either and Darknet SMG or Cyberdeck. What other choice exclusive goodies or missions might I miss out on?
I love this game. I'm only on my second playthrough.
But, oh boy, do I really hate River Ward. His design, and the way he walks, ugh!! I don't look forward to doing his quests at all.
On the other hand, the Aldecaldo quests are really fun for me. Maybe it's the change of pace or that they feel like a family to V. Something that I feel he needs.
Also, Skippy because he's just great! Gone too soon. I'll miss you Skip.
How about you?
Started a new file and this has happend twice to me. where i can't finish a quest (garrys) and now it's this

Not a lot to say just wondering if I should do it now or wait til I’m done
Cyberpunk 2077? More like Cyberflop 2077. Let’s talk about how the combat feels like you’re armed with a pair of plastic squirt guns against bullet-sponge enemies that soak up lead like they’re auditioning for the next Terminator reboot. It’s a mess. Every fight devolves into a tedious grind, where your “high-tech” weapons feel about as effective as a Nerf dart, and enemy AI barely seems aware of its surroundings. It’s like they spent years designing the gun skins but forgot to make the guns fun to shoot.
And the graphics? Oh, they shine—literally too much, because everything looks like cheap plastic dipped in baby oil when it’s daytime or under a bright light. I genuinely can’t understand how people say Cyberpunk has “good graphics” when 50% of the time, which is during the day, the world looks like an unrendered PS3 game. What is this, a neon-themed Barbie Dreamhouse? Sure, at night, the game has some fleeting moments of visual brilliance when the lighting hides its flaws, but the second the sun comes up, the world turns into a tacky, oversaturated mess that completely shatters any sense of immersion.
But let’s get to the true comedy: the ragdoll mechanics. When you finally take down an enemy (after pumping an entire armory into them), they don’t collapse; they snap. Stiff as mannequins, their legs bend in ways that would make a centaur blush. It’s laughable that four years after release, CD Projekt Red still hasn’t figured out how to make decent ragdolls. You’re telling me they’ve had this much time and resources, and their enemies still crumple like inflatable tube men caught in a windstorm? Even Half-Life’s 20-year-old physics system embarrasses this mess.
And don’t even get me started on the character backgrounds. You pick Street Kid, Corpo, or Nomad, and for what? A five-minute intro cutscene that has zero impact on the actual story. Might as well have thrown darts at a board to decide it.
Now let’s talk about the cop system, or lack thereof. Four years later, and it’s still hilariously bad. Cops spawn out of nowhere, don’t bother chasing you half the time, and lose interest faster than a goldfish. Even GTA: San Andreas—a game that came out in 2004—manages to make Cyberpunk look like it’s running on last-gen AI. At least San Andreas had a functioning wanted system, with cops that would pursue you intelligently and escalate the response. Cyberpunk’s feels like a placeholder they forgot to replace.
Here’s the thing: I really tried to like this game. I bought it on day one, full price, hyped like everyone else, and put in over 100 hours trying to find the magic that others claimed was there. And you know what? It still sucks. I kept telling myself, “Maybe the next mission will blow me away,” but it never happened. It’s like CD Projekt Red built this giant, neon-soaked facade, and the second you look behind the curtain, it’s just a hollow, janky mess.
And let’s be real—CD Projekt Red should just fire half its staff and hire modders instead. Mods are the only reason this game is still relevant. The community has done more to fix, improve, and elevate Cyberpunk than the developers ever could. The sad part? The mods aren’t even paid. They’re out here putting out quality work for free while the studio that hyped this game to oblivion can’t even make a car chase or police interaction feel immersive.
Do I recommend Cyberpunk 2077? Yes—when it’s on sale for 99.9% off on Steam. At that price, it’s worth seeing just how much potential CD Projekt Red wasted. Any more than that, and you might as well light your money on fire. At least watching it burn would be more entertaining than half the content in this game.
I've been trying to get davids jacket for 2 hours now but nothings happend
Am i allowe to do other quests?
Can i use the ingame time skip?
and do i have to keep the quest equipped?
In february, I wasn't feeling fine, thought was just an extreme hangover after a week of partying (I was moving cities back to my hometown after college graduation). Long story short, after a week on ICU and some specialist appointments, I found out my kidneys literally whitered and no hope of them ever returning, due to a degenerative hereditary disease.
My whole life turned upside down because of this, since I can't proper work because of hemodyalisis (I have to take 3 sessions of 4 hours each, so no one wanna hire somebody that has to leave early everytime). This made me revaluate the entirety of my life, since I literally depend on a machine to live until I get a transplant.
When Viktor informed V that he might not reach old age and his condition might catch him along the years, hit different. I mean, I truly knows what is to feel like you could die any minute from now. For example, my permcath, the catheter that connects me to the hemodyalisis machine fell off, and I had to wait almost a week until I could get another one and resume treatment. Every two days without treatment increase on 22% the chances of a stroke, cardiac arrest and even sudden death. So you could imagine how was my mind by that time (I spent 9 days without the catheter).
Also, I'm a very political person, I've been an antifascist skinhead since I was 16 (I'm 34 right now), and political leaning aside, despite having a public health system(I'm brazilian, so Viva o SUS), it's purposelly underfunded so healthcare can thrive, so it's important to have a healthcare plan. Knowing that, all those notes in the scav's hideout when saving Sandra got me really pissed off, but the cherry on top is clearly Johnny Silverhand's hate for corporations, whe you know your life depends on how much you can pay for it, no surprise if you end up cheering when he blows up Arisaka, terrible act, but symbolically, resonates too much to ignore.
Anyways, sometimes when I'm pissed off, I end up booting up the game just to drive through the beautiful scenery, even installed eating and drinking mods, also feel good to beat up guys who are just preying on people weaker than him, reminds me of the street fights I can no longer have (to be honest, since I became a teacher during my graduation I avoid altercations at all, better teach people to be the best of themselses than to fight them).
Despite everything bad and the political commentary of the game, me, a person who never care too much about scifi or futuristic settings, love the game because the idea of implants, I wish I could just go to some ripperdoc and strap in some synthetic kidney or some implant who would do the job. I like the idea that this could be true in a near future.
Until I have the chance to go through some transplant, I live one day at time, cherishing what I can with friends, family and some of my students (I'm now a private online teacher), trying to build that can make people remember me if I don't make it and doing my best to build a better world, or at least a better life for those around me.
I will never fade away.
Pic: Me with my "implant", the catheter that allows me do the hemodyalisis.
One thing I can’t wrap my head around in Phantom Liberty is why Songbird doesn’t consider siding with NetWatch. Think about it: they’re the organization solely dedicated to managing the Blackwall, preventing rogue AIs from taking over, and protecting the Net. If Songbird has the unique ability to interact with the Blackwall and even access its resources, wouldn’t it make sense for her to approach NetWatch? Not only could they use her expertise to patch and strengthen the Blackwall, but they’d also likely have the resources to help cure her condition.
Given how NetWatch operates, they’d drop everything to secure someone like her, knowing how valuable she is. And let’s be real—NetWatch might not be saints, but compared to the FIA, Voodoo Boys, and other corporations, they’re arguably the most rational and responsible faction when it comes to managing cyberspace. Is this just a case of Songbird being desperate and irrational, or do you think there’s a deeper narrative or in-world reason for her avoiding them? I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether this is a character-driven flaw, a missed opportunity, or just lazy writing. What do you think?
