Instead of denying everything about Nora being killed and Shaun being kidnapped he's just accepting it, I used cheats to get power armor and many levels and decided to go straight to vault 81 to collect curie I've never seen this encounter before, is it because I already did a quest or I have a companion or what?

Imagine this, it’s few years after the events of each game and the PC shows up asking each of their companions if they wanna go on another adventure with them. In this scenario let’s say that companions have had their quests completed and or max affinity.

Who would answer the call?

Ones that come to mind are any of the Dogmeats, Cross due to West-coast’s BH direction(3), Sergeant RL-3 (3), ED-E provided they’re at 2nd Hoover Battle (NV), Boone if he hasn’t rejoined Recon (NV), Veronica’s a good chance (NV), Raul (NV), Codsworth (4), Nick (4), Danse (4) and MacCready (4). Idk know enough to say on Charon (3). Many I feel like it would depend on if their family and or faction situation like Arcade is either doing Remnant or Followers stuff, Preston’s got manage the Minutemen and Piper has a sister to worry about for example.

so I'm trying to play NV on my windows 11 and my monitor is running at a refresh rate of 60 and when i try and play this happens

Im about to do a play through all of the fallout games! I was thinking what people thought the worst/scariest / most terrifying enemies in all of fallout are according to the community?

I haven't played a few fallouts so I am missing some but the things that freak me out are:

Centaurs - wtf

Raiders - being captured by raiders would be an awful fate.

The Master - his design is so scary! Thank god he cant walk!

Kinda ruined the pacing of the game. Is there any mod to remove it and replace it with something like a herd of mole rats or feral ghouls or raiders?

Before I continue, a bit of context. I'm playing in Survival mode and I'm doing the main quest only. So I am kinda low level (24). And of course I will do a Brotherhood ending before I move on to the DLCs.

I'm in Blind Betrayal. I decided to save Danse because... why not? Now comes the interesting part. If you don't remember, don't know, or have done things in a different way, Pyro from the next gen update is close to Listening Post Bravo. So once I'm done talking with Danse and Maxson, Pyro came to fight us. Maxson soloed him as the leader he is. Me and Danse were hiding in the bunker.

After that, an Enclave ambush appears. I didn't remember that. So while I was waiting for the Vertibird to arrive, guess who came along! Yes, the Enclave ambushed me and killed me instantly. OK. I'll try again. This time I got in the Vertibird, but the Vertibird didn't go to the Prydwen. Instead it did a spin in the air and landed close to the bunker. The Enclave came again and killed me. This happened a few times until I managed to kill them. And then a Mister Gutsy and an Assaultron came to show me how powerful Superman's Heat Vision is. Remember, Survival. So no saves.

Eventually I teleported to the Institute. I'm in Survival and an ambush event is about to happen. What can go wrong? That thing exactly can go wrong! In Survival, if you want to leave the Institute, you have to teleport to CIT Ruins. And guess who was waiting for me there! Exactly. Those Enclave bastards. Thankfully while the game loads, you can press the auto move button and your character will be moving when the loading sequence ends. So I was a bit out of their range and managed to escape. After five tries.

Now they wait outside CIT Ruins. I can't wait to activate Liberty Prime to come and vaporize those assholes. But Liberty Prime cannot do that without the Berylium Agitator, so I'm off to Mass Fusion Building. See ya later.

1st time Fallout 4 player here. I want to experience all 4 endings in the game by making 4 seperate saves. I know that once I choose a faction, all undone missions from other factions get canceled. I want to know how far can I go for each faction before I have to choose a faction ? Also which faction has the most interesting after-ending missions to do, so I don't miss out by choosing the wrong faction. TIA

I have no idea how that would work but I want to see a mod for fallout 4 with a blind companion

One thing after all this time I never fully understood. In fallout 3 you could only repair so high. In NV you can repair to max, but what does it mean with the bracket?

I was playing black ops 6 with my older brother for awhile, and while grabbing gobble gum, the screen shifts, goes into the “please wait” screen that fallout uses, then straight back into the small cartoon it was playing, I did a little research and saw nothing online about it, so just thought it was cool to pots about, can’t tell if it’s the exact screen cuz it’s small but it would be a cool reference.

I thought it would overheat once in the middle of the road and return to the junkyard. But it overheated twice and continued, did I do something?

Like in Fallout show season 2, new game etc. I personally want to see more pipe weapons. Not Fallout 4 pipe weapond tho, those are just ugly. I also want to see more pre-war weapons, like more variety. I always found it weird that in Fo4 there are like 5 type pre-war rifles (not counting energy weapons), and most of em not really making sense. I'd love to see the AR platform a bit more. I think New Vegas did it the best with weapon variety, but i rly like the Fo4 costumization system. Just curious to hear yall's toughts.

Now are we suppose to be able to loot his cannon? I killed him and I walked up to his pile of ash and found no cannon at all... Is this normal??
