Hey, idk if this is the right r/ thing for this question im pretty new to reddit. xD
So I downloaded fallout new vegas from gog like a week and a half ago and followed the vnv guide (used wabbajack) to get all those mods so it doesnt crash as much. In the Mod organizer it says 143 mods if i might be missing something.
Now the first like 6-7 hours of the game i had no crash at all. Then it started with like one every few hours and now i crash pretty frequently one or more times every hour of playing. Im currently around 30 hours into the game and have played honest hearts if thats important.
I also seemed to notice that it crashes a bit more often in crowded places where many npcs and structures are rather than somewhere in the wasteland with only those few plants and a rolling tumbleweed.
My question is if this is normal. I thought that following the vnv guide should get rid of almost all crashes but i believe once every hour to be a bit often.
I am playing on a Laptop (pretty decent one) with no extra graphics card if that matters.
They're a pain to get up there but you can also use the 'Place Everywhere' mod to do it.

I don't want my Sci-fi to invade my reality.
I've tried looking for themes but there's really not much and the ones I did find are for older phones 🙃 does anyone know of anything cool or have any good wallpapers maybe?
I made a recruitment beacon or whatever and it has been playing for a while but my population is stuck on 7 do I need to go and actively get more settlers or do I just need to wait it out more?
I downloaded the nexus mod and got the 32x9 aspect ratio working but now the audio doesnt work and my controller won’t stop vibrating. Anyone have any experience with this or know what to do?
Is this phrase, used by ncr troopers, a reference to the fact that original imperial roman legions used to march quietly into the battefield? in contrast to most of its contemporaries enemies/allies
Bought the 13.99 thing for dlcs on my laptop so any ideas for good mods I could play?
Is there a Responders Flag? And is there a way to have them as a main force in the game? And can I have them at my CAMP like how some BoS players have BoS members at CAMP?
One word: Deathclaws. Going through Old Olney with a dart gun Vs. without it is basically the difference a stroll in the park and being in the Hunger Games. There is no comparison. And aside from the Deathclaw usecase, it's basically the only stealth weapon in the game, but it's so damn good—it's the only one you need! But i know there are enough people who never use the mod weapons, much less the DG, that it is woefully underrated. It's also underrated by goddamned Bethesda because they took it out of 4 & 76! Instead we got the bullshit Syringer, that i have still yet to figure out and use.
Bring Back the Dart Gun. Bring Back Sanity. Make Hunting Deathclaws Great Again!
Hey! I know it might have been asked before, but does anybody know what this might be/what it says? I wonder if a high-resolution version exists. I have been staring at it on the floor sometimes when I come across it and it's driving me nuts.
Here's to more shared adventures and unforgettable memories in 2025. Happy New Year! 🥳
I got two bottles I drank one and kept the bottle and left the other unopened to display
So, I was wondering if this mod works with integrated intel gpus. If anyone wants more details about the laptop that I use, here's the link. Thanks for reading!
No one has thought about how stupidly designed the Westek facility in Appalachia is? why containers with a biological weapon would be on a room a wall from the surface or why there would be an assembly arm at the entrance of the facility??
It straight up feels like a building thought out by a teenager.
I recently got a PS5 and don't have a lot of games and was wondering If I should get Fallout 4. I noticed that it was on sale for ten bucks so now would be the perfect time to buy. Thanks! (This would be my first Fallout game)
Any help would be amazing
So I'm new to PC gaming. I just got all my parts to have finally built a PC.
Gpu- Amd 7600 xt Cpu- AMD 7600 Ram- 32 gb Corsair vengeance Ssd- Samsung 990 pro 2tb Power supply- corsair RM750e
I wanted to test it out by running Fallout 4 just to kinda play around but that opened up a can of worms.
When it originally launched, windows prompted the settings for ultra. It played amazing.
I downloaded mods It ran plenty fine. I deleted mods
This started a whole down hill. Fallout 4 would just not work anymore.
I tried deleting all the mods, Uninstaller fo4 and reinstalling it, verifying files. Finally I did a fresh install of windows 11
After windows 11 fresh install, I downloaded Fallout 4 again. It ran, but this time, the frame rate is HORRIBLE
No matter what graphic setting and resolution, high medium or low, I get like 7 fps.
What can I do? Any help is grately appreciated 🙏
The goodest boys
