Xp grind: I've been play for so long and only just made it to level 42 and I'm wondering if there is a better way to get xp and level up a bit faster

Had a break from the game following the last update, so I missed out on a few things.

I understand that legendary cores are gone and modules now are the main thing alongside a type of crystal (?).

I had a bunch of modules stored in my stash but they've been removed it seems.

So, I wonder:

I get that you scrap legendaries for modules but that is basically all I know.

How do I acquire the legendary mods themselves and how do I get these crystals?

I scrapped 10 legendary items but only got modules, not sure how to obtain the rest.

Please come out from hiding in your cubicle and unleash you're dev's on fixing this game, I really don't think we're ready for another update, yes we would like new content, but what's the point if it's not going to work. I know you guys don't come out and do anything but once every 3 months, so when you come back, just spend a little time listening to what people are saying that is broken and unleash the dev's on that focal point. I mean, come on now, we are you're bread and butter, Respect That !!!!

Hello, I was messing around in the game after a bit of a break and I've noticed that when I used multiple Nuka Oranges my rad resistance wouldn't stack, same thing with glowing fungus soup. I couldn't procure rad shields so I thought to ask here on Reddit in case somebody already used them and checked if you can still stack the resistance buff.

I'm not having much luck on Google. I tried. I'm trying to make a little Asian community in one of my shelters and there was recently an inspired banner of flags that would've been perfect. I can not recall the name of it or find it in my web searching attempts.

Also, if anyone has any other decor recommendations for my little project, I'd love to hear them. Thank you guys!

There ARE lots of stacks of wood about, however, which I wanted to click on. And a blacksmith's shop and a meeting house. And one of the re-enactors when I was there was a Fallout76 fan (because I was a geek and wore my Fallout76 shirt when I went)

So just a little while ago I joined test your metal. There were some dead bots, but players were just standing around or blowing up the bot tubes and we were just stuck. I decided to wander around, went out the back door and into the glass observation platforms and there was a bot watching the action through the glass. I killed it and the event continued. I guess it spawned wrong. So if that happens, check those rooms.

If this is known already I apologise but I figure it may not be because we all stood there like dumbasses until there was like 3 mins left before I happened across him out of pure luck.

I was lucky and got the explosive legendary mod recipe and have been thinking to put the mod into one of my energy heavy weapons.

I have an explosive .50cal and Minigun for comparison. Assuming the 1-star effect is the same, how would an explosive Gatling Plasma or (Ultracite) Gatling Laser compare?

EDIT: So I went to watch some Youtube videos and it looks pretty great.

Got it off a spooky scorched. It's a 1* weapon, but that 1* is a quad.

I run mostly a VATS Commando build, but I do have the Red Terror and I'm trying to build a heavy gunner with the LMG as the main weapon. So should I sell, scrap, or use the quad I just got? I'll have to add the other 2 stars but I haven't unlocked much by way of mods or mod plans yet.

BTW the Red Terror has double the amount of ammo that the regular LMG has. So I'm inclined to scrap and pray to the RNG gods?

Not trying to complain but I really wish they let you buy the event plans. I work A LOT, and was so disappointed to once again find challenges that I would have had to log in more then the two days I get in order to unlock the plans.

Every few days I have this issue where I cannot use my power armour. I simply cannot enter one, and have to switch to my SS armour until the issue resolves magically by itself. Pretty sure I am not the only one facing this. Restarting the game, switching the perk load outs, hopping servers, nothing helps, until one day the game decides to fix itself. Until then I have to switch to a new load out and just wait it out.

It gets frustrating after a point, especially when one is invested in the game. Bethesda really needs to fix all of their issues. It's not like the game is a year or two old!

I’ve tried the lfg on Xbox but it’s mainly used for trading. I’m level 89 and at the part where you go a do the transponders but I can’t get the scorchbeast and the assaulting down on my own. I’ll be on in like a hour uk time which is 7am

I have noticed several discounted items for sale, for 1st subscribers only, but no time limit shown. Are these just permanently available in the shop and discounted?

(Examples: abandoned mine kit for 50% off, clean white picket fences for 50% off, budding apothecary for 50% off, etc.)

I wanted to start trying to get all the fasnacht masks but theres like 40+ on the list i found. Which ones are the good ones? Or maybe a better question is which ones are completely worthless?

Since we could trade mod boxes I've been trying to get a medics to put on a thirst zapper but the game hates me and has given me all the other meh ones instead. Just venting at this point since I know it's random, but dang is there something I'm missing here?

I play on PlayStation and there doesn't seem to be any way to get direct customer support, the in game customer support is very limited in options, so I want to turn to the community. In my camp I have a few plants on the edge of the camp where a nearby super mutant spawn is. I didn't think it was big enough of a deal to move camp, since I liked the spot a lot, so I built concrete defensive walls on the very edge, protecting the plants, as well as a missile turret and an ally, to keep any threats from that direction at bay. And it worked well for a long time. But recently I wanted to move the garden back, as well as the wall. I started moving the garden back, then the pieces of the wall.

One of the pieces of the wall though would not be moved. It would give me the option to move it, but when I tried placing it where I wanted, it would tell me the item is outside the playable area. I can't scrap it either, the option doesn't even show up. I've seen somewhere that sometimes items on the very boundary of a camp can get bugged in similar ways. I've read that a solution is that if the item gets destroyed, you can scrap it. So I tried it. I at first set up a flamethrower trap in front of the wall, destroying it piece by piece. This didn't work, so I nuked my camp completely. I still couldn't delete the wall.

Since it breaks in pieces, I feel like this might explain why I can't just delete it. When most other items break in your camp, they turn invisible and don't really exist, except for a few structures like foundations or walls or whatnot. But this item still has physical pieces remaining after you break each section of it, that can't be destroyed. Repairing the wall doesn't change anything. I've tried everything I thought of.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a solution? My camp is very very strategically placed exactly perfect to how I need it, and having to move my camp away, and then back, just to fix the issue is a last resort, and one I refuse to do, if there's no other solution I'd rather just put the whole wall back where it was. Looking forward to any answers I can get, thank you!

Joined hoping it would be quick, cause sometimes they end at the first circle you investigate. Nope, went through all 4 cause I was like, “It’ll be an open area and I can milk the Horde Master with spooky scorched!”

Ended up with a diamond telling me to enter the municipal center. Fine. After circling 4 different areas, I’m gonna finish this crap.

I entered, saw the Horde Master, and there was at least 10 scorched clustered to the right in that corner where the bathroom is. Got 1 spooky scorched, then the stupid Master ran in front of me and my VATS aim got ‘em.

I say this because although it’s stupid rare, it seems like inside areas DO produce spooky scorched, although I don’t recommend trying for this chance.

How many events/location can you loot before you need to go scrap everything?

I would like to know where I stand in terms of heavy transport capability with my current build, but I don't want to bore anyone with endless lists of buffs and perks - there is just too much variation. I can elaborate on mine later if interested. Even carry weights aren't that good for reference.

So instead I'll reduce it to: How many events or spots can you loot whilst carring your everyday equipment before you're overencumbered?
For me it's currently around 3, if I'm lucky, then I have to go scrapping and in this case I only pick up loot from enemies and a little of the obvious loot I don't search through everything and don't pick every lock. or if looking thoroughly up to 2 events and locations from head to toe.

I am still carring way too much stimpaks and chems I'll never ever use but these vendors are just too generous and I cap-out way before I'm being able to clear the stuff I need cleared out but I'm at the same time too greedy to just drop it. Every below lv 50 player who's crossed my way received a ton from me too, still too much stuff...

*I know its not that scientific of an question but for reference. What i mean by location is not those 10 npc camp spots but instead more like Power Plants, Silos, Westek and such.
