I'm planning to go there with friends soon and I would like a medium to long hiking trail that is a bit challenging. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi all, not sure what to ask or how to Google for this
My wife has a car licenced in Ohio, however we both live in the UK. The car is at her mum's house. How can her mum sell the vehicle while the owner is out of country.
Does my wife need to be present for the sale, or can she let her mum to do the sale on her behalf? If any paperwork needs to be signed can it be done digitally or does it have to be on paper that will have to be posted.
Thanks all in advance.
Hi, I recently applied to the plant in Troy, and I'd like to try and call or email someone about the status of my job application, but I can't seem to find any phone numbers or emails to get ahold of someone.
If anyone who works at the plants has any information for me, that'd be great! Thank you!
Getting an idea of where to move to in Ohio but I don't know since I've been there only a few times for a single day each. What's us your opinion?
Current budget is for a base of 25k for a down-payment on a house. A reasonable neighborhood that would feel safe.
Was on a Teams call with my boss when I saw this guy, along with a smaller six-pointer, chase a doe into my back yard. Sure enough, the two bucks started fighting, and he was the winner. Gotta love the rut!
In February, I’ll move with my fam to Dublin, Ohio from Houston, Texas. My wife is originally from Dublin, and her mom and friends live there. Do you have any recommendations or tips about Dublin, or about out of state folks moving in? Considerations/suggestions? It will be my first time living in a place with a “real” winter season. Thank you!
EDIT: thank you for the amazing responses!!
Hey everyone!
About to move to Ohio from Pennsylvania. I’ve heard Ohio is pretty strict about traffic laws. As a PA license holder, if I get a moving violation in another state, I don’t get points added to my license, and my insurance won’t go up. I’m about to get an Ohio drivers license. If I get a ticket in another state, a moving violation, let’s say speeding, would I get points on my Ohio license? TIA!
I recently bought a car off of facebook marketplace but the guy I bought it from has left it as an "open" title which I'm not sure what that means, but I've trying to get the title notarized through a couple of different notaries and I'm being told the seller needs to be present but the title with the name on it is not the person I bought it from, is there anything I can do or possibly get a random notary to just push it through?
I am thinking of relocating to Wooster Ohio from a major city. Can anyone give me any insight? I have read that the crime rate is pretty high in the area so it is making me rethink my decision.
Howdy. I’m about to start LCCC. I’m starting a bit late at 21 so I’m a bit nervous about how things will go since I haven’t been in a school environment since 8th grade. From what I’ve heard it’s nice but it’s hard to make friends there? Are there any lgbt groups or clubs? I’m lesbian/non-binary. Does anyone know the general school atmosphere, have any complaints or advice?
I’m starting in January and I’m really nervous.
So I recently moved in with a friend who's health is failing. I've been looking for a job that I can walk to and have hours that work around taking care of my Friend. The bills have been paid for and had left us hardly nothing. He works as a property manager he basically has a desk job. He isn't at retirement age yet and is currently on the edge of having to accept the fact he can't work anymore and go on disability for his terminal lung disease and real bad diabetes. I have gone to all the places I have been able to and know about that are supposed to help with resources and have been turned away for one thing or another. The Food banks need an I D that I don't have and to get will take a week or more. I'm going on 3 days nothing to eat. Food stamps are not available until 2 more weeks and I don't know what to do!
Ohio’s state budget cycle is about to start and our state lawmakers will decide how to spend the people’s pooled resources for the next two years. You can have a voice in how that money is spent.
Here's a simple overview of the budget timeline and process.
The state budget process can seem impenetrable, and the corresponding documents are technical and complex. Policy Matters Ohio created a guide to help everyday Ohioans access, understand, and advocate for their own budget priorities.
We also have specific recommendations on how the state budget can make Ohio a more vibrant, equitable, sustainable, and inclusive place to live. Whether your interest is taxes, childcare, education, healthcare, or public transit, the budget has it all.
Planning for the worst case scenario, if Obergefell is overturned at the federal level then Ohio’s ban on gay marriage goes back into effect. I think that we should begin organizing now to protect ourselves, our families, our friends and our communities and begin getting a ballot measure ready for the midterm election cycle.

Is anyone already working on this? If yes, how can others get involved?
If not, who wants to help take on this monumental task?
I’m hoping someone can help me understand… I wanted to double check that my in-person vote on Tuesday was registered so i searched myself on my county’s BOE website. It said my vote was counted but said i have a “X” party affiliation. (The details don’t matter for my question.)
My understanding is party affiliation comes about only after certain steps are followed, which is basically that one must request a specific party’s (let’s say the X party) primary ballot and then in the next general election, if one votes for the candidate from the X party, then you are registered as X party affiliation.
Specifically to me, i had voted for party X in a primary for senate candidates in 2022. In the general this year, i voted for party Y. My county BOE lists me as X.
My questions are - does this seem accurate or does this seem weird to anyone?
Does anyone know if there’s a Ohio political organizing podcasts if not , I think it’s a great suggestions to come up with one.

For it to show that you voted in an election on the Ohio Boe online?
Everyone knows Ohio has been a Republican controlled states for the last 3 decades.
If you want to live in a blue state, I would suggest either Illinois or Virginia. I don't know for how much longer they will be blue, but I would suspect you could get a decade maybe two, looking at current trend.
It's been fun watching you try, I wish you better luck over there!
Are you located in Perry, Muskingum, or the surrounding counties?
Are you a plant person?
Just curious.
