I heard somewhere that means we're for real contenders or something. Anyway pre All-Star break thoughts:

We have a real shot to win these next 6 games to put us at 45-9 before the break. Goals. It won't be easy. No Wade and no Ice...probably our two best defensive players outside of the two bigs. I think we struggle without them even though we've looked good this week. Defense and wing depth suffer when they're out. Boston feels like a 50/50 shot. In Detroit the next night will probably be a lot closer than Monday's game.

Interesting OKC has 8 games left before the break in 13 days. I think the battle is on for the NBA's overall number one seed so it should be a great second half.

Is there really any need to cut a couple million before the break? It saves a lot of money, but how in the heck does one make any changes to this team right now? We've been playing too good to mess with it. We have a real shot to be there in the end.

Cavs/Monsters got a service puppy and I hope there will be more Reggie posts in the near future.

I know he's on an expensive contract, but I genuinely think he's perfect for the future of the Cavaliers. He's come back great from injury. He's effective on the court, a great passer, solid defender, good shooter and scorer. I realize he might be on the buyout market, but if the Cavs trade for him now, they can get his Bird Rights and keep him more easily than rival bidders - and still sign him to a cheap deal.

He's making $21 mil right now, so it'd cost Cleveland something real to get him like Niang and Okoro. To me, that's fine. Lonzo would be perfect if/when Jerome leaves this summer to get the bag somewhere else. With Jaylon Tyson finding his style, he could quickly be an Okoro replacement.

I know I'm crazy. I know I'm wrong. I've never been a Lonzo fan until this year, but a 6'6" backup point guard who's as good a defender as anybody and is a legitimately smart passer would be amazing. He could play next to Garland or Mitchell in a lot of lineups or fit into the three-guard lineup Atkinson has played with a big guard and DG + Spida.

Trading for him now and then signing him on a longer-term deal around $10 million per season would be huge in my opinion, especially if the Cavs can get another player in the trade, too.

Now that the Cavs are elite, they've priced me and my friends out!

3 of us are looking to go to the 2/23 game against the Grizzlies, but even the worst seats in the house end up being 100 bucks with the exorbitant fees. Does anyone have a rep's code or any code they might have interest in sending me (can be DM) for a discount? Or, is anyone selling tix to this game? Not usually one to look for this kind of thing semi-publicly, but these prices have gotten outrageous, even for nosebleeds, which we are all cool with.

It’s time we got real about Darius’ face. I didn’t say anything when he almost broke Gary Trent’s finger with his eye. It seemed like an accident. I also didn’t speak up when he literally tried to cave in Porzingis’ chest with his jaw. He broke his jaw, so he got what was coming to him. But him putting his face in front of poor Trae Young’s hands, who was only trying to get a shot up to help his team win, is too much. He’s become a Draymond level offender. We need to get this bum out of here.
