latest Fedor article is annoying: "Cavs failing at pitch to keep Donovan Mitchell" - who the fuck succeeding if not us scrapping for every inch without JA? Cavs not helping case for Donovan Mitchell to stay in Cleveland -- Chris Fedor (msn.com)
is it Miami sitting at home, who needed a billion threes to beat Boston by 10 and who has Pat Riley clowning his own players?
is it NY, the team that told you straight up they don't see you as a prime mover and is about to eat the same meal Boston serving us? Beating Embiid's corpse in six and Pacers with a hobbled Haliburton is the wave?
with this team and its health / continuity issues, we weren't beating Boston. There isn't a roster move anywhere in the NBA that makes any East team the favorites against Boston for the next few years, including Mitchell to NY or MIA or Brandon Ingram, Keldon Johnson or whoever.
clickbait imo
Obviously I wanna see us win as much as anybody else, but at least I can currently sleep at night after losses lol. Against the Knicks last year we didn’t play well enough against a team on our level. In the first two road games against the Magic this playoffs, we didn’t play well enough against a team on our level. Losing to Boston is different, especially with the fight we showed last night. We’re punching up and we’re making them earn it.
Of course there’s guys that need to play better, and I’m hopeful they will…but after 2 years of waiting of waiting for this team to look competitive when it matters, we’re finally doing it. I’m gonna enjoy this series win or lose. 4/15 teams are left in the eastern conference and we’re one of them (while not having Lebron on our roster!!) hopefully we get JA back, take game 4, and make the Celtics uncomfortable going back to Boston for game 5.
Go Cavs!
Assuming Mitchell will sign an extension, what are the moves to make?

“Darius Garland lost 12 lbs after 4 weeks of having his fractured jaw wired (turns out a completely liquid diet consumed via straw, will do that to you).
He’s since gained 10 lbs back.
But more than anything else, he finally got his joy back tonight & THAT was great to see 😊”

If we fire JB, who are honestly candidates out there that can take this team to the next level? Also, hot take...we trade Darius for Lebron this off-season.
I need to stop hearing about how bad Strus is and start hearing about how bad our offensive scheming and execution is. Go watch tape of Strus at Miami and look at how much that offence moves off ball and the actions they ran compared to ours. We’re stagnant and rely heavily on iso ball or pick and rolls with 0 movement. No shit Strus is going to miss the mainly contested looks he gets.
This is not intended to be a doomer post, but we can all collectively agree that Mitchell is the guy right? Like if it comes to it everyone on the team should be expendable if we can build around Mitchell and get him to agree to an extension. I love Garland, Mobley and Allen, but if we can generate offers that improve the team in the short term I think we would be stupid not to take it. Potential is great, but every single team in the NBA is built around potential. The goal is always to get a “Guy” like Mitchell that can perform in clutch moments. I’m afraid we will lose him soon and the FO will delude themselves into believing we can win a champion with Garland and Mobley which will never happen.

DG, absolutely ghosted, no one else could contribute, absolutely...but to come out of that timeout when we cut it down to 9 and to completely go small ball with Merrill...I am fully convinced JB only has his job because of his dad in the frontoffice and fans could legitimately make better decisions

Whoever said it can screw themselves. New York can suck it.
im currently watching game 3 of the east semis and every time DG touches the ball i feel like crying. this isnt the same player that was once an all star. his level has dropped. he hesitates to drive, his passes are sloppy (always turning the ball over when he does that lil hop of his), handles are nowhere near how good they once were. there was conversations where he had the top handles in the league (if kyrie didnt exist). his shot is off, it looks shaky and imbalanced. DG at some point was 40% from 30 feet. hes always second guessing his next move and that just causes him to turn the ball over. On defense, he's a liability and usually this wouldn't be a concern if his offensive output was good.
im really concerned, hes my fav player on this team and is the reason why i support the cavs. but game by game i feel like the cavs are gonna trade him. JB's horrible coaching has really destroyed DG's development but it looks like DG is playing like he's 5 years past him prime. He looks scared to play. Nowhere near the all star level he was at 3 years ago
I really hope the cavs winning more games this play offs doesnt change the fact that jb and koby should get fired. Mitchell carrying the cavs hard rn and if it continues like this he may be requesting a trade this summer, he needs help and its sad watching him locked in with no help. we cant keep wasting his years

If Evan Mobley plays like last game I’m sold on this team.
The difference between us and the wolves is that Anthony Edward’s has submitted himself into super stardom. If Evan consistently plays like last game we have a LEGIT team. All of the questions around this team and the timeline around Mitchell revolve around his development and it’s not talked about enough. We are legit title contenders with an all star Mobley.
I’m a Knicks fan rooting for the cavs this series cuz fuck Boston. Any player props that I should hammer tonight? I think the points O/U for Mobley is 16 on my book and I kinda like that over.
And how do you feel about the cavs +7.5 spread? I think they will dominate at home
To those who are attending tonight's and Monday’s game. You are what going to matter in this series.
Give every single ounce of your energy to this team, they need it from you. Give Boston hell.
Be Vocal.
Be Loud.
Be Cleveland.
#AllIn
Was just coming in here to ask what time I should get to a parking garage for the game tonight. I’m from PA so this is my first time in Cleveland. #LetEmKnow
ESPN did an article featuring video of what they are calling the "best posterizing dunk from every series"
For the Cavs/Orlando series, they picked a Mo Wagner dunk where Strus moves out of the way in the 4th quarter of game 4 with Orlando already up by 21 points
For the Cavs/Boston series, they picked this Caris LeVert dunk: https://twitter.com/cavs/status/1788715039798579576
Here is the ESPN article. They messed up the coding on the page so the LeVert dunk isn't showing until the "First round" section, and Anunoby's dunk from the NY/Philly series is showing up in the "Second round" section where LeVert's dunk is supposed to be
Idk what this means as far as game play. I doubt he plays within these next couple games, but maybe a (hopeful) game 6 or 7?
It is game day, let's talk all things Cavs:
Go Cavs and #LetEmKnow!
Let’s pull ahead and get this 2-1 lead tonight. We can send the media and Boston fan base spiraling taking a commanding lead and holding home court! Really hoping we can get another Mobley masterclass tonight, and he stays aggressive . Also I think we get Drippy Dean back which is huge, so he can take Niang minutes and give us good defensive minutes. FUCK BOSTON!!! CAVS IN 6 BBY
