I don't see many roles like this, but when I do, they're brand ambassadors, retail, or some variation of MLM.
Is it a good place to live? What are some nice apartment/condo rentals? Any in particular? Bonita farms??? I have two kids and have had the most terrible luck with picking places to live I finally want to live somewhere nice
Hoping my fellow Toledoans can help point me in the right direction.
I earned an HVAC certificate about 10 years ago, but never got the chance to actually work in the field because I was offered a great job in another industry immediately after completing my certificate.
I’m now interested in getting back into it, but all the job listings I see require prior experience. Does anyone know of any places that are hiring and willing to train someone without experience? Thank you in advance.

I am looking for a venue in the Toledo area to host a comedy show. Any good recommendations for bars with nice heated patios, ideally one that will seat 50 or so people?
The Board Game Bazaar is back, in just one week!!!
Saturday, November 16th - 1392 Conant St, Maumee, Oh (store opens at 12pm, event runs from 1pm until 9pm)
Tabletop419 - Your Friendly Neighborhood Gaming Group - is excited to partner with Old School Gaming in Maumee for another installment of one of our most popular events!
Do you have games gathering dust? Is your shelf of shame approaching a wall of shame? Have you upgraded to a new version of a classic game and don't know what to do with the original? This is the event for you!
What is the Bazaar? It's an old fashioned swap meet! Bring games or gaming related items (no toasters, unless you're bringing Battlestar Galactica) that you're looking to get rid of and see what others have brought as well. Last year's event was an amazing success and we're certain this one will be a hit, too!
And of course, whenever you have gamers in a gaming space it's highly likely that game will be played! But like with so many things in life, there are some rules:
1 - No cash transactions on premises. As Old School Gaming is an operating business, they have fairly requested that no cash changes hands under their roof.
2 - Ensure that your games are complete. Please verify your games have all of their pieces and that you disclose any damage the components may have.
3 - Limited to one half table per collection. Based on last year’s attendance, it may get a little crowded, so please be sure to limit your footprint to half a table.
4 - Keep your eyes on your games. Old School Gaming and Tabletop419 cannot be held responsible for lost or missing items. Be vigilant and help your neighbors, too.
5 - Have a great time! Yes, it’s a rule. Violating this rule may result in your vehicle being filled with unwanted copies of Monopoly and Phase 10.
No need to register, just come grab a spot!
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask in the comments below or send a direct message to u/Malicoire.
We hope to see you there!
Find all the details on the Tabletop419 Facebook page.
I just found out about this from another subreddit, and it literally happened to me today. Basically people are going door to door from “Direct Energy” saying that this is your final warning about removing an accidental charge from your bill. They will say that you didn’t receive any notice because their calls are flagged for scam…. Right. Anyways all they need to do is see your gas/electric bill account number and they can automatically switch you to their service, trying to save you money but the bill eventually goes way up. Just wanted to make people aware that it’s happening in Toledo.
Looking for something unique to take my husband to do around Christmas time. Not needing Christmas themed but that's when I will be wanting to do the activitiy. Outside things are okay .I want to do a couple small gifts then do something fun and different as a couple. He's scared of heights but other than that we are healthy, active and open to anything.
There was a post recently about restaurants open for Thanksgiving Dinner.
Are there any options for a take home dinner? I believe Kroger has a dinner you pick up with turkey, stuffing, etc for several people…. But what about local restaurants?
Looking to make life easier this year and options for a nice take home dinner.
Thanks!
Hi Im in Sylvania I have several old lithium batteries from power tools I need to recycle. Is there any place that are taking them? Thank You
Looking for some good catering options for a wedding of about 40 people.
Anybody seen some good Halloween decor sales? Looking for those post holiday deals!
Anyone know of active ways to support Palestine in Toledo? groups, organizations, businesses owned by Palestinians?
My family is looking to eat out this Thanksgiving. Any suggestions of places that will be open that day? We like nice buffets as well! Will be a table of 6 if that matters.
Thank you in advance!
Anyone have a recommendations for singing or guitar lessons? They can be from the same place or separate places. Ive tried looking up singing lessons but it never goes local.
This would lessons for an adult just wanting to sing and play rock music lol
I saw something I'd never seen before and I actually kind of liked it! A young lady went up to the desk and the poll worker called out "first time voter here first time voter here" and everybody in the whole place clapped and they kind of paraded her around.
Happened twice while I was there - I've never seen that before and I thought it was kind of interesting and fun!
Edited to say they won't let me change the stupid voice to text spelling of poll in the title - my apologies
Lady was shouting to vote no on an issue. Technically outside the building where the signs say no campaigning.
Some older lady walks by saying disagree, the campaigning lady just goes off on her. Telling her she doesn't care. To shut the fuck up and other insults.
I don't know. I'm not gonna get into it but to me? Don't stand outside campaigning and then butthurt when someone says "disagree". "Don't care what you say" yet we gotta listen to you shout outside
Anyways end rant.
I've got two vinyl upper sashes that either the seals are broken or they're just discolored between the panes. They were put in about 20 years ago by the previous homeowner so I don't have receipts or warranty info. I'm pretty sure they were bought at HD but the guy in the store passed me to the likely manufacturer who told me to go to HD. Can you buy replacement sashes and does anyone have experience with a local company that sells them and will come out and measure, or is that even a thing? Thanks!
In case anyone needs one last reminder - get out and #vote today!
