I recently got admitted to BG and I was working on my honors college application when suddenly my session expired mid-sentence and it all disappeared. Did anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you resolve it? TIA!
I’m currently a senior in high school planning on pursuing this major. I was wondering if any current students could give their honest thoughts about the program as a whole?
Hello! I am currently in my junior year of high school and exploring colleges. I plan to pursue a degree in music education with a focus on instruments. Could anyone help me determine if BGSU is the right choice for me by discussing the pros and cons? Thank you!
I will be attending in 2025. My major will focus on business administration. I heard BGSU and UT both have a good business program so therefore it depends on the scholarships I get. I am currently waiting to see what those are. I will still visit each campus. I’m just trying to get some help on deciding and I heard BGSU is a meh school which I’m trying to see if that’s true. I haven’t heard anything bad about Toledo other than it’s in Toledo. So any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I’m wondering where some spots could be in bg? Could be on campus or in town. Anything would be appreciated, am willing to trade a spot for a spot.
What’s the word on this class. Easy? Hard?
Transfemme/nonbinary here, searching for anyone thinking about residing in Kreischer to room with, preferably either transfemme or nonbinary as well, though femme presenting men are also welcome. I'm not entirely comfortable rooming with a man, but I do understand that it may be difficult to find gender-neutral housing or a person who plans on living in a be female dorm who is comfortable rooming with a trans woman, so I'm keeping an open mind and trying to find someone who would be living in a male dorm who would be comfortable with that. I'd prefer for my roommate(s) be at least somewhat on the femme side, but if you're a masc amab who's cool with having a transfemme roommate, feel free to respond too! At the end of the day my main thing is just finding someone to share a roof and be friends with, my preference is at the end of the day, just that, a preference!
Howdy, transfemme/enbie here, asking female residents of Kriescher how comfortable you'd be with a transgender roommate? I just toured today, and I think BG might be the college for me, and from what I learned on this most recent tour is that the dorms are segregated by gender, with some specific exceptions. For information just on myself, I tend to pass when presenting femme, but I am in no way medically transitioned. I'd much rather room with a girl or femme-presenting person, as I'm just more comfortable with that than rooming with a guy, but I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable by using women's facilities, so I just wanted to check in on what the consensus from women and femme-presenters on the subject. Thank you so much! Please ask questions if it would help you with your answer!
Hi, I'm a part-time, nontraditional student. My major requires at least 10 credit hours of 4000 level science classes, but after this semester I'll only have 9. If I can take something next semester I should be able to graduate this spring.
Are jobs at Jerome library posted on handshake? I've been checking on there frequently and have yet to see any new post for a position there.

Hi guys, I'm applying for the Flight Technology and Operations Major as I plan to earn my R-ATP through BGSU. I plan to submit my application before January 15th for max financial aid chances, however it says on the website that FTO applicants have a secondary review where we must write 2 essays due December 8th. Is there a deadline for application before December 8th if I would like to major in FTO?
This earlier deadline where it says "secondary review" has me a bit confused.
Thanks!
Is anyone looking to live at copper beech? I signed a lease there for a 2 bedroom 3.5 bathroom apartment and I can no longer live there. The lease is for next year. If anyone is interested in taking over the lease feel free to respond.
Hello, I'll be joining as an international PhD student from the next spring. For this, I have to open a bank account. So I want to know which bank will be good for me? I'm looking for available booths and office inside the campus. Also offers good services. Thanks
does the fishbowl id i’ve heard they don’t on weekdays very often
Has anyone rented with Greenbriar before? How bad are their fees when moving out. Might have snuck a pet or two in and the might have chewed up a little of the carpet. The carpet wasn’t even close to perfect when I moved in so just hoping they don’t notice and charge me when I move out.
What are other peoples experiences with them, and if they charged you, how much? Also there is a scratch and stain on my fridge door so hoping they don’t notice that either.
If anyone has any extra tickets for the December commencement, I am interested!!!
Hello! So, I’m not sure what the site means when it says the program requires “an ACT composite and math score of at least 25”. Does that mean I need either a 25 in Math OR total, or does it mean both have to be at least 25. And if you don’t have the minimum of 25 (I have a 24 composite, and 18 in Math), how likely would it be to still be admitted to the program (based on experience)? Thanks!
So I'm considering attending next year ( majoring in film production ) and wanted to ask about the queer population at BGSU. How big is the community, are there any queer spaces/clubs/groups, and what might the dating scene be like there? I'm bisexual ( I mostly lean towards women and femme-presenting people. ) and transfemme who goes by she/they pronouns btw, if that helps. Thanks!
What is hoco like at bgsu? Going for the first time with some friends. They make it seem like it’s a huge party scene, extremely crowded and drinking all day. Is this true?
To clarify, I'm a current freshman and he's a senior in highschool
Hi, im an international student 19F looking for a room near the campus. The roomates should be all females. It would really help if there were someone who could help me for such.
One week til Sacred Harvest Music Festival! Just outside of Grand Rapids, 20 minutes from BG on Poe road. Perfect opportunity to get out with friends and enjoy the music, food, and local vendors. They also offer camping onsite. Come check it out!
This question goes out to any professors here at BGSU. What information do you have access to on students - particularly information you DONT have to go through a chair/etc for.
Are transcripts able to be seen? GPA? I know the directory information is available, but what about health directory information which includes things like class schedule?
