The other day I posted about how a Hughes student got in my face and called me a “White loaf of Wonderbread lookin ass” because I politely walked around her on the sidewalk she was in the middle of.

These kids hog the sidewalk, they expect YOU to yield to them when you’re clearly walking on one side of the sidewalk and if you look at them funny, they’ll probably beat your ass.

There’s cops on every corner there when they get out of school for what I’d imagine, good reason.

Does anybody else have experiences w these kids being unruly? Why are there cops everywhere?

Have you ever wanted to have a painting of your partner, a family portrait, your dog or whatever your favorite photo is? I always loved the idea of painting but unfortunately I'm not the best at it. A few months ago though a friend and I came up with a cool idea, what if you could turn any photo you want into a paint by numbers. That way anyone can paint, anything they want.

We looked up custom paint by numbers and found a few Etsy stores selling them but they were way overpriced and most of them didn't even come with the canvas on a frame. So we looked around and talked to a bunch of suppliers, eventually we managed to produce custom paint by number kits cheaper then anywhere else and already framed (you can still order them without a frame but we found most people want them ready to go out of the box).

Long story short though we're trying to grow and get more people talking about us. So we decided it would be a good idea to reach out to some local subreddits and hopefully you'll enjoy them enough to share your experience :)

If I didnt get 101 Corry my next choice would also be a single in usquare. I also would like to know if living at 101 Corry is nice.

Hello! I am an Aerospace Engineering Major, and I have decided that I want to switch my major to Mechanical Engineering. I have turned in both parts of the application, but I want to ask about timing. Will I be able to switch into Mechanical for next semester so that I don't have to fall behind? My fear is that they will make me take Aerospace Engineering classes next semester and that I will have to wait a year before I can take the spring Mechanical Engineering courses. I have already set up a meeting with my counselor for course scheduling in several days.

What should I do? Will everything be fine?

So I got a 60 on my first and a 20 on my second exam. Is there a chance for me to pass?

I transferred from Cincinnati State after getting my associates, and I feel like I’m the oldest undergrad at UC, but there’s no way that can be true. I’m 26 and I can’t possibly be the only person who isn’t 18-22. I am literally scared to talk to people and I feel so far removed from the college experience. There are a few girls I talk to from one of my courses and they’re all very nice, but they’re also all 18-20 year old traditional students and I’m a 26 year old with two kids. I wish there was a club or something for older undergrads or undergrads with kids, but the fact that there isn’t one kinda makes me feel like there aren’t very many to begin with. At the end of the day I’m here to get my degree, but it’d be nice to not feel completely isolated from the rest of the college community.

I’m in grad school so I don’t explore campus much idk if this is normal but I can smell it from the rec center all the way to my car parked on MLK. A combination of BO and trash and rank feet. I’m so perturbed I actually wish the Covid I had 4 years ago permanently removed my sense of smell so my nostrils were never subjected to such horror

Hello, hope everyone is doing ok. I wanted to know my chances of acceptance from people that attend the college. I am a high school senior with a 3.81 weighted GPA and 3.6 weighted. I did not put down my ACT scores (25) as they were below average for the university. I however did get suspended from school freshmen year for fighting but no incidents since then. I am also applying to cyber security engineering. I know UC has a relatively high acceptance rate but Im just anxious. Thanks in advance.
