I need a very flexible income. I’m a single mom to a child with special needs. He’s often out of school. Having to take off last minute so often has made it hard to be employed. I have no family around me. I’m cute and often told I would be a good dominatrix. I’m willing to do quite a bit but I just don’t understand how to safely get started. The websites seem like scams or saturated.

I'm looking for a venue with a stage like the Brightside in Dayton for a whole production show. Brightside is charging wedding prices for their venue and it's hard to break even selling tickets when it's too expensive. Any recommendations??? It needs to be a big stage like the brightside or bigger.

Hi there. I'm doing research for a young woman who might be interested in an IUD but is concerned about the pain she might experience during insertion. I know some gynecologists offer sedation to alleviate this concern. Does anyone know of a provider that offers this in the Dayton area?

The patient in question is currently 17 but will be 18 in a few months, if that makes a difference. Parents are on board. Current pediatrician just retired so they are looking for a new doc anyway.

We are in the Southern suburbs so would prefer a doctor close by, but would consider driving to access this if necessary.

Can anyone tell just what the hell is going on in Dayton OH with cars driving through people's living rooms? Since I moved here in 2011 there has been an inordinate amount of these mishaps. I've never seen this phenomenon anywhere I've lived in the United States. This was in the paper this morning: This was the 114th time a vehicle has hit a building in the Miami Valley in 2024. Our tracker reported 157 instances of cars into buildings in 2023.

Native Daytonian here. Anyone else noticing how many people, especially younger people who are not from this area, are calling out fair city "Day'n"? Eliding the "t" sound. I have also heard it with people saying "ki-en" instead of "kit-ten". Or "Tim Hor-ons" instead of "Tim Hort-ons". Wondering where this comes from!

Been thinking about this, and wondering what will happen. Springfield in particular. Is there a non-profit that people being deported can put their assets into trust to protect it from the government just taking it?

I know that's probably part of the planned grift, and a way to reward people who cooperate with the deportations, but under current law, people being deported still have rights to the property. If it can be put into a trust for them, they at least won't lose everything. Is there a group I could donate to to help?

I have a 16-year-old son who struggles terribly with social anxiety. He has a very small circle of friends and is desperate to make more social connections, but his anxiety is so bad that he always ends up isolating himself and finds it almost impossible to initiate conversation. Because he's so awkward and anxious, he appears unapproachable, so other kids don't make effort to engage with him. He is in counseling for this, but was wondering if there are any other parents of teens in the area also struggling with this issue?
