I thought this would work like most apps where you can see each game title based on the tracks you download, but so far everything is just going to the Favourites playlist. Fine, I guess, but it would save a lot of time having to scroll through one playlist if I can just see each album.
Is this a bug? Or is this normal?
Wanted to try out the nintendo music app but it doesn't even open
The number of music tracks is pretty limited. The Nintendo Music app includes:
• 8 Nintendo Switch games
• 3 NES games
• 1 Wii game (+1 collection of the Wii system menu tracks)
• 2 Nintendo DS games
• 2 SNES games
• 2 Game Boy games
• 1 Game Boy Advance game
• 1 Nintendo GameCube game
• 0 Wii U game
• 0 3DS game
• 0 Virtual Boy game
I can understand that there may not be many tracks at launch, but still… only 2 SNES games… 2… The platform that fans are likely the most nostalgic about. And nothing—not a single track—from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past…
I’m consoling myself with the thought that the company will hopefully add music from other games soon. In fact, they have shown these game boxes in today's trailer :
• Wii Sports (Wii)
• Super Mario 64 (N64)
• The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)
• Splatoon 2 (Nintendo Switch)
• The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker (Gamecube)
• Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES)
• F-Zero X (N64)
I'm just wondering if some other people wished that we got their music on Spotify for example or other streaming platforms? I'm super happy to be able to stream Nintendo music in such an easy and "free" way but i kinda wish i was able to mix some of the songs with some songs i listen to already in my playlists. I'm just curious to see people's opinions and I also want to share my excitement for it bc none of my friends are awake atm.
idk if here is the place to post this but the subreddit has the same name
