Another Brick in the Wall - Libyan Remix

Hi,

I recently went to a show and the dj played a remix of Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall on vinyl. I went up to him and asked what it was and he said it was a libyan band, I unfortunatley did not get the name and have been looking for the track ever since. If anyone has any leads or knows what i'm talking about, I appreciate all the help i can get!!

Thank you in advance:)

What’s the name of the song in that Arabic music video?

I remember seeing this Arabic music video where the singer is reading books in a mansion and I remember seeing a young woman getting engaged to a much older man. At the end of the video, the young woman then laid down in the bath tub with a bouquet of flowers. Does anyone know what the song is for the music video?

Maqams that are playable on western instruments?

Hiya, I play saxophone and I was wondering if anyone knows which maqamat do not use quartertones, so I can play along to music on sax.

Thank you!

Does anybody know what type of guitar Ash uses?

Ash (Ashmusic) makes middle eastern-infused deep house. I know he sometimes uses an oud, but very commonly uses an electric guitar. Could anyone ID it? It appears in his song “Mosaique” for example or “Give a little”

Hey guys! Here's an amazing playlist I created a few weeks ago with incredible Israeli pop music. A lot of the songs were written in the past few months and it's very interesting to hear the different perspectives on the situation. A lot of optimism and groove! Any other song I should add?
