Article title: “The Power of Political Discourses: How Propaganda Shapes and Influences Public Opinion”

Political speeches represent one of the most important means of communication between politicians and the public, as political leaders use them to present their visions and messages to people. However, political speeches are not just a means of communication, but also a powerful tool for spreading propaganda and influencing public opinion.

The effectiveness of political speeches as a propaganda tool depends on several factors, including the use of complex and influential language, and directing messages in a way that targets specific segments of the audience. The success of political speech also depends on the politician's ability to stimulate the emotions and personal values of the audience, which allows him to direct their thinking and behavior in a certain direction.

Political rhetoric is typically used to achieve specific goals, such as building support for particular political agendas or avoiding accountability for failed policies. For example, politicians can exaggerate successful achievements and ignore mistakes, which is known as setting the agenda and shaping public thinking.

Moreover, political speeches can be a tool to distort the image of a political opponent, as politicians use distortion and defamation to mislead the public and direct public opinion against competitors. For example, political opponents can misrepresent their opponents' records and spread misinformation with the aim of undermining their popularity and public support.

In addition, political speeches can lead to incitement of emotions and hatred, as hostile and inflammatory language can be used to motivate the public against a particular category of individuals or groups. Hence, these discourses contribute to exacerbating political tensions and further dividing society.

In conclusion, political speeches constitute an essential part of political propaganda strategies, as they are used to spread messages and opinions and direct public opinion in a way that serves the interests of politicians and political parties. Therefore, the public must be aware of the power and influence of political discourses, and be careful in obtaining information and analyzing it critically.

How common are arranged marriages in Algeria? Is it common in some minority communities? How do most people in cities meet their spouses?

Just quite intrigued as to what the general experience is, with the * that Algeria has big differences in the lifestyle whether you are Urban or Rural, and ethnic groups may behave differently.

Happy to hear your personal stories of your own meetings with spouses or of friends!

Why getting married at a young age in Algeria is so difficult?

We know that in deen and all the only way to avoid haram relationships and those stuff is to get married but here in our country is really difficult to get married like in the early 20's in other non-muslim countries some "religious " people are able to get married even at the age of 19 here in this time only the 20% of Algerians get married in the early 20's so is it due to the lack of job positions or the lack of responsibility of the individuals because of the lifestyle, or that society has contributed to making marriage at a young age something unusual and strange?

Will my background prohibit me from getting a visa?

Hello everyone,

I come to here to ask a question about getting a visa to Algeria, I'm Ukrainian and I've been to Algeria before one time in 2019 when i visited my brother who lives there with his Algerian wife.

Currently I'm in Greece and I'm struggling a little since the job market is a little dry here and money is pretty tight. I'm thinking about moving to Algeria permanently with my brother who has a plumbing company so that we can support each other.

The problem is that i was a soldier for a year or two during the recent russian invasion and i heard that the Algerian government is sympathetic towards russia, would this affect my chances of getting a visa? Am i considered an enemy of Algeria?

Thanks in advance everyone

Which degree offers more job opportunities?

I have to point out that I only got 12/20 in the scientific branch bac, so I had limited options last year and was assigned mathematics which was my 5th pick btw, though I still decided to just give it a try I'm most likely going to fail this year and I've been considering a switch to english instead since it seems like a safer option, but I can't think of many guaranteed career paths that I could find with either diploma except for some things in the educational field, and while that's not a future I want it still puts food on the table so I won't dismiss that, I'd appreciate any advice or suggestion to help with my dilemma because it's been bothering me for months now even more than the exams I'm supposed to prepare for lol, I hope y'all pass the semester at least inchallah.

How to become a sales manager in algeria

I have always worked as a saller or something similar to that I'm good with people (I'm kinda of introvert, Idk why ), even at my current job which is not related to selling. In past i had my opportunity to open a shop but i missed it. (someone offered me to manage a new shop for him with third of the profit for me ) Anyway i like a job that pay me based on my outcome not how many hours i attended the work place and a sales manager seems good. Plus i always had a higher salary then my coworkers after some time in the job so i think this kind of jobs will suits me. Anyway i have bac +2(i dropped out of university)and plus 7 years in sales, i used to sell fruits in my own worked as a seller used to sell in dlala (دلالة)، basically i started working at 9 years start selling related stuff at around 14.

Living abroad - Torn Between Nostalgia and Reason

Within me, there's a constant battle between the nostalgic yearning for my home country and the logical realization that returning to the same broken society I once fled would be a step backwards. The familiarity of my roots tugs at my heartstrings, whispering sweet nothings of comfort and belonging. Yet, the rational voice within reminds me of the harsh realities that drove me away – the societal flaws, the broken systems, and the limitations that once shackled my dreams. Moreover, I cannot ignore the fact that the organized life, respect, and lifestyle I've built abroad would be nearly impossible to replicate in my home country. The freedoms and opportunities I've grown accustomed to here are a stark contrast to the constraints I once faced.I can't help but wonder if there are others out there, living abroad, who find themselves caught in this same emotional crossfire. Is there anyone else who yearns for the warmth of their homeland while simultaneously acknowledging the harsh realities and limitations that await them there? If so, what is the solution? How do we reconcile this internal conflict, this constant push and pull between the heart's desires and the mind's pragmatism? thank ya'll

Is there any pen-pals in Algeria ?

Hi there, I guess the title is clear. I remember that being a pen-pal was something famous but due to the phones and net, almost everything turned into digital conversations.

Is it possible, especially nowadays, to find someone who's interested in writing letters (using pen and paper/postal card) ?

Thank you!

The Battle of Algiers- Movie analysis

I've made an historical/political analysis of this movie. It starts with an historical overview of French colonialism in Algeria and mentioning certain events leading up to 1954, the start of the war. Then, I analyze certain scenes one by one. After that I talk about the impact the movie has had when it came out. I also talk about the Algerian civil war since Pontecorvo made a documentary about it in '92. my video is an analysis but also an homage to this great classic. (I've put NSFW because youtube age restricted my video since the movie has some brutal scenes. I just wanted to be safe.)

Need help regarding animal laws in Algeria

Hi everyone, disclaimer; I’m not Algerian but I was wondering if anyone can elaborate on a law that requires you to euthanise your pet if it is infected with Leishmaniasis, while some cities don’t enforce this law others do.

Can't contact the Algerian Consulate in London

I am trying to contact the Algerian Consulate in London but each time I call, it rings for around a minute and then the call ends. I have been trying to call for around a week but haven't been able to reach them. I have also tried to email them but I've had no response.

My partner needs to get an emergency passport as we want to get married.

If anyone could help with contacting them, I would very much appreciate it.

Is there any organic food store in Algeria ?

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. Recently, I've been grappling with my chronic illness and haven't found a satisfactory solution other than adopting an organic diet. I'm looking for stores that offer vegetables, fruits, and eggs that are free from< <<pesticides, insecticides, and hormones>>>. Could you recommend any such stores?
