Hey everyone 👋🏼 I was recently diagnosed with deviated septum and recommended surgery. I looked online and found out that the surgery is very painful and if the dr. isnt well experienced, than the surgery may not be useful. I have extreme issues with breathing and want to fix my nose asap.
Has anyone here done surgery for deviated septum and which hospital and/or doctor do you suggest me to go to?
I would love to hear your experiences in Kuwait.
Hello everyone, I'm on the lookout for ghostwriters in Kuwait to help me bring my book idea to life. If you know of any skilled writers who offer ghostwriting services, I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations or leads
Hi, I have a guess watch with a damaged wrist band. Does anyone know where is the service center for the brand, so I could get a replacement wrist band and fix the watch.
Asslam Alykum, as the title indicates I am looking for the best clubs/gym to practice muay thai or even boxing. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks to everyone in advance!
Is there any place for an avian vet to trim my budgies nails? they are overgrown and causing lots of problems
Anyone tried to postponed their final exams and are you facing the missing configuration error also.
I’m looking for some good hospitals with reasonable rates for my delivery in Kuwait please help me find them.. and also how the staff deals with us including the whole process please guide me
Any idea where I can go that would help me with that? I assume I'd need to purchase the sheep/goat, I have no problem with that. And I'd pay for the guidance too.
What I'm imagining is someone showing me how it is done in front of me, start to finish, and then I do it on my own with them beside me.
Hello all I am looking for a solid place to buy quality replicas for watches, shoes, clothes and bags. I found a few back door stores, example Dollar Tree out in Fahaheel near the Al Kout Mall but, I’m trying to see if there’s maybe a few other recommendations I could get pointed to.
Feel free to PM if you don’t feel comfortable putting plugs.
Much appreciate you all in advance thank you.
Hi!
Bit of a sticky situation here. My GF’s grandmother has been living in Kuwait illegally for 6+ years, having been brought in by other relatives (from Syria, through Lebanon, during the war etc, it’s complicated).
Since being there, she developed dementia, which is now at the stage where she cannot sit upright or use the toilet, and doesn’t recognise anyone. She went to hospital recently where she was found to be there illegally, and the relatives were fined (rightly so). However, she now has to leave the country by the 16th of June or everyone involved will be deported (so they’ve been told).
Given all this, my question is twofold;
Sorry for my ignorance, we live in England, and I’m British (so I’m doubly ignorant). Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
As an Indian, I’m so used to step outside just with my phone and nothing else. Heck, I even travelled for weeks without single penny in cash. But after moving to Kuwait, it seems little difficult.
What are the current available digital payment method apart from Cards/K-Net (which technically need a wallet) unless you’re on Apply Pay (which is difficult with Indian cards)
Any suggestions to app like Paytm or G-Pay would be helpful!
Non-Kuwaitis can answer as well, it would be great to compare and contrast.
Why do you live alone? How does it feel? Are any of you (like some I know) completely cut off from family?
What were some of the difficulties you faced at the beginning of your life living alone? Or even pros?
I’d like to hear out from you. Thank you.
(The title may be incorrect so excuse my english)
So i'm a 20 years old born from my father's second wife. My father passed away when two years old and ever since then we remained no contacts with his other family from the first wife
We're currently living in a rented small studio with my mum and the first wife and my half siblings are living in the government house (بيت حكومي)
Me and my mum wanted to move out from our studio due to various reasons and we wanted to get our rights of the house since i'm still my father's child, and me and my mum are still considered family members
I'm also under the Public authority for minor affairs (شؤون قصر) and will be out 6 months from now once i turned 21. I wonder if they could also can do something about this?
I’m applying for my baby’s family visa. He is almost 2 months old and just got his new passport. I meet all the requirements except one. The person preparing my application told me that passports need to be valid for at least 2 years when applying.
However Canadian newborns get issued a passport valid for 2 years at first, then 12-18 months later they would get a 5 year passport.
Would the Kuwait immigration or ministry generally have a problem with this?
First time making a post here and I can't believe it's about washing machines... anyway, this is more or less a sanity check for myself. We've been buying washing machines seemingly every other year and this last one only lasted 6 months... Yes. 6 months. A Samsung washing machine that costed 200+ KD. I'm in the process of practically fighting with AlAndalas to get it fixed.
But my question is: has anybody else had very frequent issues with washing machines too? Just sort of breaking out of the blue? Both myself and my sister have been replacing them almost as soon as the warranty ends, and sometimes sooner. I only got a Samsung machine after a co-worker noted he has never had one fail on him. But here we are. Is there some sort of epidemic with washing machines I'm not aware of?
I’m planning to move to Kuwait for teaching job. I get private medical insurance and accommodation covered by the school. Is 1100KD a good salary? Since everything is increasing nowadays.
I’ve got a UK driving license. What do I need to do in order to drive in Kuwait? Do a drive test?
Thank you in advance.
I know this is totally random, but I'm working on my capstone project which would involve "SHARKS WITH FRICKING LASER BEAMS ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS" -- Dr. Evil
No seriously, it will involve lasers and stuff.
I have already asked but got some confused and mixed answers regarding if early onset of burn in, image retention/degradation from average gaming and PC usage is covered fully by warranty.
Hopefully someone has an idea on this topic? Because from reddit posts some companies/shops provide a period of 2-3 years that the screen won't become perceivably degraded.
I was shocked when i saw young kids smoking cig in the bus. Yeah INSIDE and the driver did nothing. They were kuwaiti. I didn't know kuwait allows that. Is that normal here? Why no one stops them?
من وانا صغير وانا اسمعها و امثالها بسبات فيها ارقام. دورت بقوقل ما لقيت شي. وصل عمري ٢٤ و ليلحين مادري شنو يعني. ياريت احد يفيدني 🙂
I just started a single person business for 3D design and i would like to have my own office space.
I heard of a place called neo or sth like that but i dont think i can move my PC there perminently. Are there similar places where you can rent an office monthly? What the best are for renting offices in kuwait.
I just moved back to kuwait from america so i don’t know much in real estate.
I am a photographer, and sometimes models ask for outdoor locations because they find it more creative. I have found issues shooting outdoor before. Is there any locations where I can shoot without a permit?
I'm a married kuwaiti guy, and i never picked/talked to any girls publicly. I always think in my head ( their out to have fun and enjoy their day, I don't think they want others bothering them).
Anyway, i always see guys following girls and throwing out words in a hope they give them a chance. Does this work ???
Or do Kuwaiti girls prefer other ways to meet guys ??
Or was i right when i said they don't won't to be bothered??
Just curious 🧐🧐
I’m studying entomology and wanted to know if there are any museums that show local insects
Anyone have a recommendation for people/companies that can prep custom meals for me? I don’t want a subscription service or something with a set menu. I know what I want, but don’t have the time to cook because of work.
Thanks
I was walking around in the Avenues Mall and noticed this guy following me into every store I went. I slowed down to browse in American Eagle, and suddenly he was behind me, saying, "Hi, how are you?" I didn't turn around or respond, so I kept moving. When I walked into GAP, he had come in again. This time I alerted security and he bolted. I'm very average looking and I don't know what could have attracted this man to me, but I felt genuinely fearful. I've been followed before, but this time was different. I thought I had gotten rid of him but when I went into NBK he deliberately walked past me again. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am a Westerner but there are so many of us that go to Avenues, I don't know why he would think to follow or talk to a stranger.
