I know this is a strange question, but a family member told me recently that Kuwaitis (or Arabs in general) consider a woman having a breast augmentation before getting married as a red flag, and would possibly deter them from marriage (or make them mad if they found out after getting married). I heard this from an older family member so I just wanted to see if this is actually true? Ps: please stick to answers that are the reality of the situation, not what it actually should be. Ik it’s ridiculous and close-minded to consider this, but I just want to know the reality of it, is it true?

Which countries do you think are positively seen in Kuwait and why?

It’s absurd how late my order arrived for something that was already made and around 10 minutes max away from my place with traffic lights! I need to talk to someone, but there is absolutely nothing I can do to make any sort of contact with them.

If I’m being completely honest, I’m not really interested in getting married right now. I’ll even admit that I’m probably not ready, and there are a lot of things I want to do before I take it seriously.

But one thing I have wanted for a long time—something I’ve been thinking about for the past six years, ever since I finished school—is to just sit down with a girl in real life, have a proper conversation, and get a sense of how things actually are. That’s it. That’s all I want. And yet, I’ve never even had the chance.

Now, my mother is actually quite supportive when it comes to postponing marriage and focusing on self-improvement first. But at the same time, if she could get me married tomorrow without any proper conversations, discussions, or real communication beforehand, she absolutely would—without a second thought.

And honestly, I don’t even know what to call this mindset.

Is it religious? Traditional? A weird mix of modernity? What the hell is happening?

My goal is simple. I just want to talk. Not behind a screen. Not through an app. Not by texting. None of that interests me in the slightest. I just want a straightforward, in-person meeting. But somehow, even that is asking for too much. Just breaking through the initial stages is exhausting. It’s like I have to do things her way or it’s the highway.

Even something as simple as choosing to meet this girl instead of that girl has been blown completely out of proportion. I haven’t even gotten to the part where we figure out if we’re actually compatible, and yet, there’s already drama.

And that’s what’s really pissing me off.

Nothing about this feels normal—not in a religious sense, not in a traditional sense, nothing. They want to act like it’s religious or traditional, but it’s not. It’s just a mess.

My sister has epilepsy from the age of 10-11 and currently she is 19 years old.

We had good results in the beginning from Ibn-Sina hospital in the first 2-3 years and then everything started to downfall. The doctor informed us about the side effects and consequences of the long term effect of medicine consuming.

Side effects: Anger, Excessive eating or not eating anything for 2-3 days, self-harm, sleeping for more than 12 hours.

She barely passed her high school since she couldn't focus on studying

Since the end of 2022, she has changed a lot in terms of behavior and mood swings

A friend of mine is going thru hell in an abusive marriage with a man who doesn't seem to want to divorce.. they have 2 kids and they're also suffering from this abusive relationship and he seems to be hell bent on making her life miserable. He refuses to divorce, refuses to talk to the family and she's beginning to become suicidal. They're both non Kuwaiti and unfortunately, the family can't do anything to solve their many issues. He became so disrespectful towards the parents and refuses to talk to the father and accuses her of horrible things, twisting facts and making her look like the bad guy in all of this. She's tried for the past 5 years to get a divorce but he won't do it. I'm trying to find a decent divorce lawyer who understands narcissistic abuse and can back her up with the divorce. Can anyone recommend a decent lawyer? Preferably a lady as she tried a man and he was not much help. Many thanks.

Yoooo so ^(HYPOTHETICALLY) if there were two Kuwaitis, right?

BOTH OF THEM live in the US and have US citizenship bc their mom is American. One is a man, one is a woman. Let's call them Latifa and Latoof.

Latifa was born in the US, has been living there 20+ years. Has both US and Kuwaiti Citizenship and both passports are up-to-date. Latifa did NOT take money from the government to attend college in the US, she HAS done her biometric fingerprint thingy in the past year and then returned to the US.

Latoof, on the other hand, was born in Kuwait but let his passport expire while he was in the US the last 15 years. He has not been to Kuwait in 6 years. He got scholarships and stipends from the Kuwaiti government to attend college in the US.

Do either of them need to return home and face the music? What happens in each case if they do?
Are they doing full revocation or is it like 20 years ago where your American passport ~*somehow*~ gets back to you?
Is everyone gonna forget this by the time Ramadan rolls around bc they're hangry?
Has anyone gone through this? Please let me know your experiences.

Hello all,

Hoping for any sort of advice for bringing my dog in to Kuwait from the U.S.

From what I understand the licensed veterinarian in the US can issue the health certificate no more than 30 days before travel.

I know I need an import license from Kuwait that a relative will bring to me at the airport, and in order to get the import license they will need to show proof of the health certificate, but I am now reading that the import license needs to be issued at least 30 days prior to travel.

On top of this, I was planning on using Qatar Airways and their website says the health certificate needs to be issued within 10 days of traveling.

If anyone has any experience with this sort of situation I would greatly appreciate it because it seems like all the requirements of all the different forms are contradicting each other.

Hii! It's me again, first of all a little bit about myself, my name is Ally, I'm 19 years old and I'm looking to meet like minded people with the same interests of mine since loads of my friends aren't into what I am, I'd like to get to know mostly females if I'm being honest but I don't mind mixed friend groups but as long as there's women lol. it would be SO nice to have friends with the same common interests and all that. I find myself much more comfortable speaking English but honestly I don't mind Arabic either cause I speak that too lol.

My interests include:

• Video games, mostly story games (I played a majority of them, but there also games I haven't played like Red Dead Redempetion) but I dabble on valorant sometimes and marvel rivals is fun too.
• I love resident evil, one of my favorite franchises of all time I will die on that hill and I could talk about that game forever.
• Hororr + comedy horror and mystery are my favorite genres of movie of all time, I love it when people are nerds about filmmaking.
• I love Smosh, comfort people. I love watching Smosh games, I don't know if you guys know dread but I really want to play that with friends lol along wit h DnD.
• I've recently started getting into Korean shows, so it would be so awesome to have a Korean friend to help learn Korean cause I just think that's so cool, I'm currently watching All of us are Dead and I'm going to watch Sweet Home and Train to Busan next (As soon as I finish watching JJK..)
• I also really want to get into Cosplay and go to conventions, my first cosplay would most likely be Ada Wong lol
• I love Hororr decision based games, one of my favorites games of all time based on that genre is Until Dawn.
