Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for a romantic restaurant or bar to celebrate my anniversary on December 31st. It’s a special night, so I’d love a place with a great ambiance, delicious food, and maybe some festive vibes for New Year’s Eve.
Thanks in advance!
Hey everybody, I would love some insight on traveling to Armenia if you don’t mind. For context I am half Armenian and half Norwegian. I have my mothers traits (the Norwegian) so I have pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes so I don’t look very Armenian besides maybe my nose which is what my dad tells me makes me Armenian 😂 I guess my main question is it safe for someone like myself to travel to Armenia? If so, where would you recommend I visit and what time of year?
I have always been tapped in to my family’s Armenian traditions and studied the culture as well as the Armenian genocide when I was in school. I actually prepared a speech and presented it in front of law makers and politicians in my state which was a great honor. My grandfather was a professor who immigrated from Armenia and his father was a doctor in Armenia before he sent his kids to America. I absolutely love being Armenian and want to explore my roots by visiting the country but obviously want to be safe as well.
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you ❤️🇦🇲

Hello! I was born and spent my childhood in Armenia, and my parents were super adamant about making sure I knew Armenian, so I've been fluent in the language my whole life despite living most of it in Germany. However since moving out 2 years ago I've noticed I struggle to pronounce some words? J haven't forgotten the words or anything, its more like my tongue won't cooperate. How can I prevent this from continuing and stay fluent in armenian, if I don't know any Armenian people in my vicinity to talk to?
I live in Germany and I am traveling, and I am staying in Yerevan for two weeks. Any good recommendations?

Hi everyone,
About a decade ago, I came across a performance on YouTube—though I can’t recall if it was a song or a poem. It dealt with Armenian history, mythology, and ancestral stories. At the start of each line, the performer seemed to say something like “chassem.” Afterwards, he mentioned various figures like Vahagn and Arev Mihr.
I’ve been trying to track this piece down for years, but I haven’t had any luck. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If you have any leads, I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks!
Considering our long and tumultuous history, our people tend to honor heroes from our past. However, especially in the context of the recent wars, I'd like to read more on those from our present, in the last few years, who have put themselves in harm's way to protect others, done something heroic, or in general, positively impacted the development of their community in Armenia.
Looking forward to everyone's names and comments.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to ship an online order to a friend in Surenavan or Ararat, but the online company is having trouble finding the address even in Ararat. They're saying they can't print the label.

My budget is around $700.
Hey everyone, heres the thing a few years back , maybe 2019 a friend of mine took me to a restaurant in Saryan and i cant find it again,
Let me describe it , Saryan street like somewhere in the middle before the Italian restaurant, the entrance started from the side walk with metal stairs going up, where the first thing you see is a red telephone booth, then you enter the building you go up marble stairs ending up the third floor where its the roof of the building where the cafe is at , it has a high plastic roof , and a giant tree in the middle , there door at the end of the roofed area where it leads to a pool and a smoking area , weirdly enough never leaving the very top of the building
So if any of you guys know the name of the exact location that would be great, i mean i went there like 4 time throughout the years but never could find it
Edit: forgot to mention im talking abkut Yerevan
Hello everyone! I am looking for a good recipe of presumably nazook type gata which is made with butter and sugar filling (without nuts). We had a wonderful recipe from an Armenian family in Georgia who escaped the genocide, my sister spent some time with them long ago but she unfortunately lost the recipe. If anyone can suggest a nice recipe, that would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!
