St Louis Native but live outside of Fargo, ND. Don't get to many games unless they're playing the Wild in MN and the kids don't have games. Was thinking about pulling the kids from school, skipping a few days of practice, and heading down next week for Thurs/Fri Training camp. Is it worth the 14 hour drive? We'd be staying with family, but don't want to make the trip if we can't even get in the door. Kids are huge Blues fans and this may be a really cool experience for them. Oldest boy is in High School, is #18, and a huge Rob Thom fan, middle boy is a goalie and has Binner posters all over the wall, and my middle daughter is #55 and plays D because of Parayko. We went to the Minnesota PWHL practices and it was pretty amazing. Thoughts about making the trip?
I know that the tournament games were streamed when held in Traverse City. Curious if anyone has seen anything about these being aired/streamed anywhere.
Prospect ranking is:
Thoughts?
For me it's Schenn, Robert Thomas and Jake Neighbours
Just curious is anyone waited until the last minute or day of to buy opening night tickets? I’m debating on waiting until the day of to see if they drop. Yeah, I’m being cheap but I’m only looking at one ticket. Has anyone noticed ticket prices falling on game day? Or am I just wasting my time? I was checking out Seat Geek to be specific.
Imagine being able to watch games for free legally.
(Satire and wishful thinking post)… So… now that we have LTIR money from Krug, we can make Ottawa an offer they can’t refuse to trade us for Perron right?!😂. Man, I miss that guy.
Hello! So as the title states, my girlfriend and I are looking to get tickets to Blues/Caps in St. Louis for her birthday, and I could really use some tips for where to stay and what to do while we’re there. The game is on a Saturday, so we would likely drive down on Friday and leave Sunday morning. I have read the comments on old posts on this subreddit about staying in hotels near the arena, and I have also read comments saying to find an Airbnb in Soulard, spend most of our time there, and then just take the shuttle to the arena. We went to a game last year, and we stayed in a hotel, so I think we’re leaning more towards finding an Airbnb in Soulard this time around. But if we did, are there any places that y’all would recommend we go while we’re there? Any local bars in Soulard to pregame? Where would we find the shuttle in Soulard, and does the shuttle also take you back after the game? I would appreciate any advice that I could get! Thanks in advance, and Let’s Go Blues!
I’ve never been a fan of these jerseys, and it’s entirely because of the red. I like the stripes and logo, and love the shoulder patches. So if we could choose a color to replace the red, including the trace of the logo, patches, and collar, what color are you choosing to make this awesome?
Training camp starts later this month! Who is everyone’s favorite player?
Mine is Justin Faulk.
Cam Janssen and Andy Strickland posted an interview with Doug Armstrong today, and I highly recommend everyone listen.
It was enlightening to hear him speak so candidly about many subjects, including moves he regrets and where he’s at mentally in his career now.
My main takeaway is just how much I appreciate how honest he is. You never have to guess where his head is at, and it’s clear he cares deeply about the Blues and St. Louis as a whole.
Didn’t really get into hockey until late high school / early college (2015ish)
Was it just a product of the time? When the bruising defenseman was considered an essential part of a team?
It’s just so bizarre that 19 points was ROY worthy.
