Now that JT has been traded, who will / who do you think will take his place?

You guys got the Avalanche tonight. I work in a denver mail facility FULL of tRump supporting hockey fans; one of which won't watch football anymore because of the kneeling. BOO LOUD AS HELL. I want to hear all of them complaining for days.

I can’t make sense of it. Why would Tocchet put someone who is clearly struggling moving their feet with two wingers who skate like they are in mud as well? This is not an excuse post, Petey has to find a way to step up and not be a passenger. Maybe that’s the point, coaches and management trying to gauge what kind of player he is?

We know he will rebound some day, maybe with a new coach or whatever else. It would be like getting a free superstar at that point. We don't need to rush him out before his NTC.

Err yeah, never one for great titles but anyway...

I'm new to hockey and i think i'm not a fan of this throwing the puck into the opposition's zone and then trying to (and often failing to) maintain posession. But the Canucks seem to do an awful lot of this.. Why?

Second period vs Detroit and they were putting pressure on the Detroit D for most of the period, keeping it in their zone, but not getting many shots off. Constantly battling for the puck...

I have been watching football (soccer) all my life and there posession is a massive factor. I don't see how it wouldn't be the same in hockey. I occasionally watch New Jersey games because i'm swiss and they have 3 players from Switzerland, and they play more posession and it works.

I am new though, so there's probably something i'm not seeing or understanding.

Anyone have the patience to educate me? Just trying to understand :)

Now that they’ve addressed the back end, It’s clear that this team needs some help up front. Assuming Boeser is gone at the TDL, which forward(s) should the Canucks be targeting? Is Dylan Cozens a good buy low candidate as a right handed 2C bumping Chytil to maybe play next to Petey? Or should we be swinging for the fences in FA or at the TDL?

I was seated up high at last nights game and older guy had a very violent fall down the stairs, does anyone know if he is ok? It looked very bad.

I'm not sure whose decision that was to have that young girl as the anthems in last nights game. If it was the team, that was a bad decision, knowing that there were going to be boo"s on the US anthem, the optics were not good. I am all behind booing the US anthem right now. Maybe they should have had just a regular singe and brought her out for the Canadians anthem. Just felt for her, as someone who has a child with a disability.
