Interesting analysis from Mike Kelly about the Devils taking a more simple approach offensively. There is more than enough offensive talent that they can score without selling out to do so. Better off limiting the other team’s chances and letting the natural speed and skill be the difference. It’s translating into wins so far

Okay, so I know we only get one a game. And I understand the strategy behind saving them. As well as thr large amount of tv and ice cleaning timeouts.

I feel like I haven't seen us take many this year.

I feel like I'd like to see Keefe call a timeout when we are clearly on our heels, like in when the ice tilted late in the first tonight.

Maybe they just haven't been televised, or I've just not caught them. I guess I just feel like I used to see it happening more.
