Either my ski rack popped open or I big blundered. My snowboard fell off my roof rack while driving on Van Winkle in Millcreek.
I ran back to grab it, but a car had already stopped and picked it up. If this was you, thank you, please DM me.
Are there any radio-control aircraft model or radio-control boating / warship model clubs or groups in SL county? It's too cold this time of year for events, but spring and summer are coming.
Ex-Attorney General Sean Reyes withheld, modified, hid information from public, audit says https://www.ksl.com/article/51242432/ex-attorney-general-sean-reyes-withheld-modified-hid-information-from-public-audit-says
I wasn’t surprised by this- but still annoyed that this scammy politician (2nd worse politician we have in Utah- first is obviously Mike Lee) and former supposed “top cop” will face almost no accountability for his scumminess.
Hey. I don't know if this has happened to other people but I am looking for advice and if it is the right way to go. I signed up for EOS Fitness(Worst mistake ever) for 4 personal training sessions. I had asked them before signing my contract if I could cancel after, they said yes. I asked them about 2 more times to make sure as I don't have the money to pay $200 every month. They said yes. So I signed a contract that I never even seen(I was 18 and stupid). I canceled after the 4 sessions but they are still charging me.. I have called, emailed, and gone in person to get this fixed. They have told me twice that it is canceled but they never really canceled it. Every time I call, there is never a manager they claim. I was done waiting and disputed everything with my bank. Now they sent my debt to a collection agency. I am trying to get them to drop the charges currently but I dint know if they will. I was reading of other people going through similar problems and someone was talking about doing a civil claim against them. The problem is is that I don't know if it's worth it because if it fails, I'll probably be out more money. Basically what I'm asking here is if it is worth it to file a civil claim and if I'm more than likely to win. If not, what are some actions I can take? Please, I need any help I can get
No, not a furry.
Looking for a local furrier to help identify/value a fur coat. TIA!
Hey everyone, I’m currently trying to take care of this cat my bfs mom has, I want to keep her and obviously she needs help. I’m looking for affordable options for veterinary care. I’m hoping to find a low-cost vet in the Salt Lake/West Valley area , but also looking for free or low-cost spay/neuter programs. I’ve heard that some places have community outreach programs or non-profit organizations that can help, so if anyone has experience or recommendations, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Thanks in advance for any tips or advice! 🙏
I wish I could have bought one!!
Did anyone else see the big beautiful Elk that ran through Sugarhouse down 2100 S this morning? The poor guy or girl looked so distressed. I hope animal control / DWR was able to find it and help it.
PS - I didn’t get a picture because I was on a walk with my dog and no phone. :(
Hey.
I got general admission tickets to a show at the State Room tonight. Anything you can tell me about the venue? Is general admission standing only? Are there actual seats? If show is at 8, how early should I get there? What about parking?
Thanks!
If you guys know anything please reach out to the number on the flyer, thank you!
Hey all,
I'm wondering if I could get some input from current or previous vivint corporate employees. They have a couple roles I'm interested in pursuing but would like to know more about their benefits, financial offerings, culture, etc. Before networking and applying.
Thanks in advance!
If you only have one night in SLC for dinner, where ya going and why? ( Hoping to spend less than $200 with wine and food for 2 )
And
If you're hitting a speakeasy in SLC Metro, which one and why?
In addition to calling/emailing your reps, bill review committees are open to the public. If there is a bill you are passionate about, you can click the status at the top of the page and it will tell you which committee is in charge of reviewing it and deciding if it will advance to the next step. Go here and select that committee to see when the bill is being reviewed. You can attend virtually (links released 15 min before the meeting) and share your opinion during public comment. I went to one earlier this week where the golf course water bill and pedophile protection bills were discussed, and it was sparsely attended. We can testify to the benefits or negative impacts of a proposed bill before it even gets to the house or senate for a vote. There are a lot of bills proposed each year and they don’t have time to review them all. If enough people speak up, it’s possible to stall a bill long enough that it won’t be reviewed this year.
Hey everyone, we are looking at a move to SLC. We are looking at the best suburbs to live that have decent views. Location just needs to be within 1 hour to airport as I work from home.
We are also looking for good private schools so within 30 min tops from home to the school.
All recommendations are welcome.
(TL:DR - 23M moving to SLC, what are some good areas to live and what's somethings that aren't widely known to someone not from the area?)
Hey, I'll be graduating college in May and moving from Louisiana to SLC.I'm looking for places to rent for 1,800 or less. I've seen some online but some reviews are less than stellar (extras fees besides rent?) Is that common?
Compared to Louisiana (Baton Rouge) renting is far cheaper here overall than SLC and there is some sticker shock for me.
What are some things (good and/or bad) you can't find online about living in SLC? Any general advice you can give?
Thanks y'all :)
I’m planning a client event for 10 people and I need some help. I’m told the venue has to have food, booze and some kind of activity. I was told no top golf or ax throwing but pool is fine. Most of the people are out of town. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hey yall! Is uphill skiing allowed with your dog at Park City's ski resort? I know they are not allowed in lifts and gondolas but I can't see any further guidance on if you can take them during the hours that PC is open to uphill skiing.
My daughter is going to her first high school dance. Is there somewhere in the valley that does pocket boutinnieres? They seem so much easier to manage than a pin on.
Looking for reasonable price range too. No idea what to expect.
What's happening is horrific and I can't sit by and idly watch people being targeted like this. I want to help, and I'm looking for the best resources. Let's organize and discuss ways to be supportive while also preventing as much harm as we can. Please keep the discussion as constructive as possible, this is no time to be arguing, we need to come together as a community.
Done by @oceanskillz_tattooartist from Germany. He was doing a guest spot in SLC and we became good friends! So happy with how it turned out.
