Due to major issues found in new home by third party engineer we are seeking refund of deposit but told non refundable. Not looking good
I’m looking to get a gift certificate for a massage for someone who lives in South Jordan.
I’d like to avoid chains.
Any recs for a reasonably priced, decent MT in SoJo?
Hello, I am a Canadian, and I really don't understand how to navigate your healthcare system.
I have a green card and due to circumstances I will make under $5,000 this year.
I need to get healthcare coverage, and I have $500/month budgeted (paid for out of a divorce settlement).
Could someone direct me where to look or a recommendation for a healthcare plan?
Thanks!!
Hello fellow Utahns,
I recently moved to California from Utah about two months ago, but am not a resident here.
I am registered to vote in Utah, and in the last presidential election (my first time voting as I'm in my mid-twenties) I mailed in my ballot.
Does anyone know how I can vote for the election in my situation?
I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this
This is our first year as a family trick or treating. Is 5:00 PM too early? Google says dusk but due to colder weather I feel earlier may be better but worries most people may not be home from work. I realize everyone works different hours, just asking for some kind opinions, Thanks!
My friends and I were gonna check this place out tonight for dinner as we saw an ad on Instagram and it looked fun. Just curious if anyone has ever been here and what your opinion was on the food.
I mean we’re going either way because why the hell not it’s Halloween time but still just curious on local folks opinions
My fiancé and I are getting married and he loves collecting patches. I'd love to make a custom wedding patch and looking for a recommendation for a local business.
If anyone know of stores that sell cool/unique patches, I'd love to check those out too!
19 and just moved to this beautiful state living with family, I’ve enjoyed hiking and driving around but I don’t meet a lot of people my age at work and have gotten a little lonely, any good recommendations for events and activities where I’d meet others?
I'm having a hard time with this one. I've read some disappointing things about Hoang Nguyen busting unions and not treating employees well. I am having trouble finding much info on the third party candidate, Cabot Nelson, but liked his answers on the Ballotpedia survey. I won't be voting for a Republican due to my values.
Wondering what others think of the candidates and whether there's other info out there that I'm not aware of.
A friend has been permanently injured from faulty medical equipment, installed long after it had been recalled.
This has also caused some limited,(I hope)cognitive impairment.
Right now she is working with “the lawyer” that called her.
I’m afraid she is either working with an ambulance chaser, or worse, the Doctor’s lawyers.
Can anyone recommend a good lawyer, that will truly represent her interests?
Can you share any good / bad experiences?
Feel free to DM me with names to protect their privacy.
Top of mind I was thinking Chakra Lounge, Good Grammar or Flankers.
Caught 2 massive trout today out of cove pond in Herriman and harvested them. Some guy told me I shouldn’t eat fish out of here for some reason. I found an article about a fish kill here back in June of this year but can’t find any other updates. Is it safe to eat these trout?
I’m looking for someone to pull a permit for a solar detach and reset for our company because we don’t have a contractor in that state but we are the ones doing the work. Would anyone be open to pulling a permit for us in Utah county. I already understand most contractors don’t want the liability but we have a job we desperately need to get done. We can pay you $500 to pull the permit
Thank you and please no hate I’m just trying to do my job
Where are the best neighborhoods for decorations, candy, scare factor, etc??
Which are your favorites and why?
Any trunk or treats, etc?
Please and thank you! I'll be with a 9 year old if that helps
Curious if anyone has recommendations, frustrated w the state of politics and my life in general. Just hoping to find those who relate. TIA
Edit: I’ll check out the recs, thanks everyone 😁
I know this is a longshot but is there anyone on here or knows of someone/maybe a local card shop selling the Panini Premium Stock 23-24 basketball card box?
It retails for $129 but people have been listing it online for $400 which is way more than I can afford.
So anyone have a decent priced one?
(I sound like one of those choosy beggars, "But it's for my son's birthday!") lol. But I'm really not though!
I am a young artist who will be moving to SLC in December and is looking to meet people in the art community. Any suggestions for how to get involved?
I'm looking to print about 500 full-color 20-strike matchbooks.
Thanks!
Are there any decent places that play Jazz/Blues? I remember a place called Avant Groove opened up several years ago, I went only once and loved it, but it was short lived. Does anyone know any similar places?
I have lived in SLC off and on for 9 years. Growing up in Eastern Washington, we always put our windows down when possible driving. A little brisk, windows down with some heat. 80s in the summer? Windows. See a friend walking somewhere? Yell at him/her through your already opened windows.
Just yesterday I had my windows down (partially) and heat on. Taking in the vibes. I get when the inversion is going, bleh keep em up, but there is a lot of good window down driving weather here, and no one takes advantage of it. Over the last few weeks I have been tracking and I am usually the only one (if you see an old/gold tundra with WA plates and a Seahawks sticker). I am not blasting music or anything. Just drawing in a bit of the city as I run errands downtown and around Liberty Park and state street.
It is just annoying motorcyclists and the regular biking commute folks doing it. I do not get it.
Looking for a show tomorrow night, anything going on?
