On our ring app, there have been several people posting about people in clown masks with bats the last two days. In neighborhoods around the hospital. Anybody seen anything like that?
Is there any places near provo or near sundance area where me and my sisters can rent snow/ski outfits for our visit? Ive seen rentals for the actual ski gear just nothing for the clothing and was curious if such a thing exists

I saw a truck selling oranges at Old Navy in Orem last Saturday and didn't buy any, but now I wish I had. Does anyone know where to find a fruit stand or truck in Utah Valley selling fresh oranges?
They're never that good from the grocery store but the oranges you can buy from the back of a pickup are always incredible.
Does anyone anything about the accident at Cougar and Freedom? Tons of police cars and multiple intersections partially blocked off.
My step grandma's neighbor dumped a dog on her and she is not able to take care of the dog. (She chose to and accepted but she is 80 years old and it is not in either of their best interests. God bless her she just really loves animals but she is okay with finding a good safe home for her.) She means well and the dog is safe for now and being taken care of but in the long run it's not safe for her to be responsible. I can't figure out the best way to help with this situation because we need to find a home ASAP and none of the shelters we've called seem to have room.
The dog is a sweet and spayed dog and I would just take her if I didn't live in an apartment that says no to pets.
Does anyone have recommendations for quicker or safer solutions? We hate to rehome her at all but my grandma is showing signs of mental decline and I feel like she was taken advantage of and I just want them both to be safe and happy.
There’s been dozens of cop cars and other emergency vehicles outside of the motel and going clear around the block for hours now. When I first got home around 4:00 they were there, I even saw some cops putting extra protective gear on outside their cars. Now they’re still there but their sirens are on. Anyone know what’s going on?
Let me know
Does anyone know some good places to take a fun walk in Provo or very adjacent to? It could be a park, street or very very easy walking trail.
Hit up my insta for the info @ the.kidd.apollo
I like to lift, swim, and hike. I also enjoy disc golf, racquetball, pickleball, and UD. Casual gamer too.
Feel free to DM me or setup a commitment and let's meet.
Long shot, but does anyone have any photos (or know where I can find some) of the original Rock Canyon Elementary playground? In particular, the tubes that were buried and the weird metal slide sort of thing.
Thanks!
Just what the title says.
My name is Flynn, and I am learning Mandarin Chinese. I am looking for a fluent Chinese speaker who would be available to meet and help me practice my spoken Chinese.
I am at an elementary level. I lived for one year in Beijing when I was 13, studied in a classroom setting for 3 years, then lapsed in my regular use of Chinese for about 9 years, and have been using Duolingo daily for most of the past 2 years to recover vocabulary.
I can't compensate in money, but I'll buy you your drink of choice or provide English conversation practice in exchange.
Hi all! I am a student researching the history of Operation Tat-Type, a government program that tattooed children and adults with their blood type in the early 1950s. Fear of atomic war spurred doctors and government officials to desire “walking blood banks.” In Lake County, Indiana, and Cache and Rich counties in Utah, children as young as five were tattooed with their blood type on their torso under their left arm.
If anyone you know has had this tattoo, please reach out either here or via DM! I’d especially like to know:
Where did this person live when they were tattooed?
How old were they when they got their blood type tattoo?
What were their or their community’s feelings about the project?
…and anything else you’d like to share!
Anybody work at mini world children’s clothing in the late 70s/80s?
What used bookstores in Utah will buy back books at reasonable value? I have so many like new books that I’d love to get some money back from. I know most won’t pay a ton but I’m curious to see who pays the most. I asked a bookstore a few years ago and they didn’t even buy from individual sellers they bought used books wholesale.
My wife and I are thinking about moving to Utah, we are looking into Spanish Fork, Orem, and Utah county in general.
Could we feel safe telling people we are gay? Would it cause problems if my wife was a school teacher? Would we be safe doing small pda in public? Do you feel like you have a community?
I checked out the new Rock Canyon trailhead. It's really nice. All the bathrooms were locked and had keypads. What is up with that?
Also the Utes were totally holding on that play.

Is there anywhere that sells hot peppers in the Provo area?
I swear there was a raccoon themed burger restaurant in Provo circa 2009. It was on center street and the staff all wore raccoon tails pinned to the back of their pants.
I cannot find any evidence of this place on the internet but I swear it was not a fever dream. Does anyone else remember this place?
Hello! I plan to move to Provo somewhere around mid late of next year. I went there for a week and loved it so much! But didn’t get to see much of what Provo really is. How’s the crime rate? Any unwritten rules? How much is rent?
