Hi! Does anyone know where I could donate a used duvet in Ogden?

Why are there so many stray dogs in Ogden?? I’ve seen so many since I moved here in the spring.

I just saw an adult black and white Huskey running around with no collar on Harrison blvd and 1st. Couldn’t put it in my car to take it to the shelter because I already had my dogs.

Does anyone know of a vet office that is open on Saturdays for non-emergencies?

We had a nearly 90% turnout for the election this year. I'm so proud of the voters here for doing our civic duty.

(I'm purposely leaving any personal feelings out about the outcome. I'm just impressed with that number!)

I'm a woman in my 40's who moved to Utah 4 years ago, and man, it has been difficult to make friends. Being agnostic/atheist as well as liberal does not help. I do have a couple of friends who are on the apolitical side, but I want/NEED to make some connections with people, preferably some around my age, with a similar mindset to mine, especially since the election.

Are there any groups that get together regularly? I'd love to find something close by, but I'm willing to travel between Brigham City and SLC.

Has anyone hiked to see “The Major “ flag this year? If so, where is it and any hiking advice to get there?

I'll be moving to Ogden from the east coast in a few weeks after only visiting once before. Curious if there are any areas you guys would recommend avoiding as I look for apartments. Currently looking at places on 17th street and on 27th/28th streets and I'm wondering if these areas are decent or not. TIA!

Thought I'd share some info about this new place I learned of in the Newgate mall. They have lots of free and paid events like Karaoke on Thursday/Friday nights, paint nights for adults and kids, dance and voice lessons, just a fun creative space I think more people should know about!
