Residents of Ogden, UT, who sludge through our brilliant metro area, who visit our numerous high class bars, and attend our world class university. For those optimists, we welcome you. Also good for soccer/volleyball/golf/rugby/drinks/party meetups. Or whatever, as long as it's Ogden related.

Anyone recommendations for team building activities in Ogden that are OK for people with physical limitations?
With the holidays coming up, I'm hoping to find someone that needs a pet sitter.ill do it for free.
I don't have family to spend them with, and I recently lost my cats in a separation... and I miss them so much.
It would be very therapeutic to me to be able to spend some time with some sweet kitties...
Please let me know if you hear of anything, or need a sitter.
I'm not a weirdo. I'm 34, male, and am very willing to meet before had to ease your mind about a stranger pet sitting your sweet cat baby/babies.

where can i get some cbd for dogs today? any suggestions
Just want to give support.
Hello, we need somebody to come put 1 nail in our roof so we can hang the rest of our lights. The nail missing is about 25-28 feet high, our ladder wont reach.
Willing to pay $50 but you'll need to bring a ladder than can reach.
Went downtown for the opening of the Christmas Village and electric parade. For the first time in a long time I went by the old AOL/Teleperformance parking lot just west of the two Junction parking structures. I noticed that they had torn down the movie theater and that (at least in the dark) it looked like a lot more construction/destruction was going on.
Anyone know what is planned here?
Any suggestions on where to donate books that are in good condition? I read that Weaver County library will accept the books, and there used to be some book drop offs near where I lived in Davis County. Does anyone know where a book drop off is located here in Ogden? I searched the Internet, but couldn’t find anything. Thanks in advance!

New to the area. Are there any good pho restaurants in or around the Ogden area.
I'm in Ogden building the Marshall White Rec. Center. I have a bunch of pallets. If interested comment in this thread please
Hello, Ogdenites of Reddit. I'm the Ogden reporter with KUER, and I want to share this story I reported. Ogden City Council is expected to vote Tuesday on whether to allow a deeply affordable housing facility on Madison Avenue. Weber Housing Authority says it will take people off the streets, but some city officials want to bring in higher-income residents.
Anybody got much personal experience with tattoo shops in the area? Quite a few just in Ogden so looking for some recommendations on where to consider.
Just moved here from Florida. Snow is a whole new world to me. Obviously this year the snow is lacking. In a normal year, is it worth it to own a snowblower? Do we typically get enough snow to warrant one? It's black Friday and was looking to maybe grab one while the sales are going on and before the tarrifs kick in. Is it worth it? Or is it a wasted purchase?
Does anyone know what’s being built at Ogden City Plaza on like 23rd and Grant? They’ve been tearing down the old theater there for a few weeks now. Also curious if anyone knows if the other like 4-5 buildings in the plaza are going to be filled anytime soon?
Wanting to find local breakfast sausage and organic eggs somewhere in the Ogden area.
So far, I’ve see Sunnydale up in Eden sells but ideally would like to purchase a few packs and try it before committing to 12lbs worth.
Any recommendations?
I heard about 5 booms and then my power went out. Maybe 3 minutes later 15 police cars and 4 fire engines fly by headed towards 4800 S and Washington. Lemme know if anyone knows what happened lol
I am considering moving into Phoenix Rise on 28th street. I like the property manager from our one interaction and the apartment seems like a good fit for me. However, they’re owned by Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) and they have atrocious reviews online and an “F” rating with the BBB. I really don’t want to get wrapped up with a scammy owning group. Can anyone give me info on renting from either Phoenix Rise or AMC? I already applied ($54) but I haven’t signed a lease or been approved yet.
Called the other day after trying to sign up on the website, only for the CS person to tell me it's actually been sold out for a minute. Their website doesn't say it is, but they've disabled your ability to pay for it. Just thought I'd let everyone know before anyone tried to go for it before opening day tomorrow.
Does Ogden have a gay scene or gay friendly bars?
I have a childhood friend in town. Most Im seeing say theyre closed.
Anyone else see a string of lights over Ogden tonight?
Not sure if this is the correct spot to ask, but— Anyone know of any groups that meet and play board games? I am a (almost) 30-something, single male who works too many hours and would be interested in some (nerdy, geeky) fun game group/s to participate in. Anything in Weber/Davis counties?
To me it's absolutely silly that an area once known as "The Upper Ogden Valley" completely ignores "The Lower Ogden Valley" and just called themselves "The Ogden Valley." How silly would it be if someone drove to Park City and said they live in the Salt Lake Valley or Heber called itself the Provo Valley.
Ogden owns the name Ogden and the county should not approve a town named Ogden Valley. If was Eden/Huntsville are "The Ogden Valley" what valley is Ogden in? Don't tell me it's not in a valley, the mountains around Ogden are huge.
I'm helping someone out with trying to find their first job at 19 and navigate some of this new adult stuff they're coming into. They are thinking a manufacturing or stocking position somewhere and Amazon seems to take anyone with a heartbeat. Especially this time of year.
The only problem is they don't have a driver's license or transportation. We live in Clinton and they would need to take mass transit. I know there's a warehouse in North Salt Lake but transit doesn't go that far west. Is there a warehouse in northern Ogden? Does anyone have experience commuting to an Amazon warehouse job with mass transit?
