Hi! I'm looking around for a 1-2 bedroom apartment that allows cats, isn't terribly far from USU and isn't super expensive. I'm kind of stuck and don't know where to look.. anyone know good places to find a rental that won't screw me over?

My husband and I are going out of town for a couple weeks here at the end of the month. We have a lizard and no one to feed him while we are gone. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Does anyone know if there a reasonable price to get passport photos? Everyone seems to be charging $15-$20 for them, which isn't super unreasonable, but when you have to get a set for each kid it can add up. Does anyone know if the kiosk for it in the Cache Valley Visitors Bureau actually exists or how much it costs? I am hoping it is like the ones in European train stations that would get you a valid passport photo for $2-3. Found this in a google search of their site, but can't find it on their site manually:

If it's not a kid movie, DON'T BRING YOUR KIDS TO THE MOVIE THEATER. There were a bunch of toddlers running around tonight's showing of Wicked and it absolutely ruined it. Why take a toddler to a 3 hour musical and not take them out when they're clearly not able to be quiet? I'm sure the parents couldn't enjoy it either, so what's the point? My brothers were taking food to my dad at the north Sterling clinic and when they pulled up there was a guy in my dads car smoking a cigarette (🙄) They waited because they figured he was just stealing change, but after he left and they got in his car his fuse panel was pulled off. I’m brand new to Logan, M 32, I have 0 connections up here and I’m looking for Nerds. A D&D group? Board games in general? Video gamers? I work as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer right now so I can’t make connections in an office or anything.

I’m also an avid sports fan and into the outdoors, so my interests are varied.

Been thinkin about havin the MCOT team meet with me. I'm up on campus just dealin with stuff and got told the MCOT team up here is good. Anyone ever work with them?

Two winters ago, Mayor Daines lied to us at the end of winter by doing a press release where she praised the snow plow drivers for all their hard work, and told us we were so blessed for all their efforts. She said they were daily plowing snow from around 2AM and well into the late morning. I remember people joking "Well, when you wake up at 10 AM daily, you're bound to think they've been at it since way early."

The truth was, I was on the road around 4-9 in the morning for my job that I was working at the time, and I rarely ever saw the snow plows, and I drove around Logan and Cache Valley during those hours, and never saw the plows until 8-8:30. Before that you were screwed driving through 1 1/2 feet of snow if not more. I called the office responsible and get excuses for why the plows weren't out.

Last year it was barely better. As a frankly scared citizen, I'm wondering if the mayor, and the rest of the people in charge, have a plan yet for this winter, aside from just gaslighting us in the spring, telling us they did an amazing job, even though they did, and forgive my language "Fuck all". Has anyone heard anything about any changes to policy, or plans that will get the plows out actually plowing before everyone's finally gotten to work or is in the hospital following a car accident?

Anybody know what's going on at the south Walmart? Just drove past around midnight and there were about 5 police vehicles blocking the west parking lot entrance with their lights flashing. Didn't see any signs of an accident, and they weren't stationed at the south lot entrance.
