My daughter lived at The 900 Factory Apartments last year (23-24). She liked living there and had no issues. She has been waiting for her deposit back as the last day on the lease was Aug 10th. She received a statement saying one amount would be refunded and dated Aug 3rd, then another one dated Aug 30th for $70 less. She called and they said that they forgot to bill everyone for the $150.00 cleaning fee so they charged everyone 1/2 price. As of today she has still not received her deposit and they said it is waiting to be sent until the owners sign the check within the next two weeks. Seems a bit crazy to wait two months to refund every person who lived there last year. Has anyone else received the deposit back?!? Thanks you!
Anyone know what all the fire trucks and sirens are about outside right now?
We're going to be relocating to Logan from Southwest Missouri within the next couple of weeks. Our home is located near "Zootah" and the golf course. Who does everyone recommend for home internet? We currently use T-Mobile 5g here in Missouri, and it does okay, but we only get speeds up to about 80mbps. Any recommendations?
Thanks!
I really want to upgrade my handwriting -- is there affordable calligraphy class in Logan that anyone knows about?
To anyone who was affected by the layoffs today I'm so sorry you got caught and I wish you the best of luck.
As someone caught in the last wave I had hoped that was the end of it.
To anyone still there, I hope things get better.
Has anyone else noticed the new 800 block apartments by USU smell like sh*t? It’s been going on for at least a month now. Feels like another developer cutting corners and putting up a building way too fast.
Hello! I'm a USU alum and Logan is about halfway between where I now live and my parents, so we're trying to find a spot to meet up and do foliage hiking this weekend. Is it still going strong?
Thanks!

Hi Loganites. My birthday is on Saturday. I want to try the hot pot place out by big lots. What do I need to know about this and what do we do? I’m so excited, I’ve wanted to try it for years. I just don’t want to look like… more of an idiot than I usually do. Thanks in advance.
Please wear bright reflective clothing and preferably a light, especially in the darker neighborhoods. Wearing all black is not the smart decision here.
Hey yall,
What is the likelihood of the cops around here busting me for smoking pot outside but on private property? I live on a lot that is tucked back from the street behind another house and is 100+ ft away from any neighboring home, although I presume my neighbors could smell it from their yards. This is all to say, I am not sitting on my front stoop smoking within feet of the sidewalk or right outside someone else's window.
I just moved from my homestate where pot has been 100% legal for nearing a decade and even before that it was damn hard to get in trouble unless you were dealing. I know things will be different here but I'm not sure how different.
Thanks!
Hello, I am hoping to find a group of people to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with. Is there any groups getting together?
Hello all,
tomorrow just so happens to be my 21st birthday and I've been searching up and down for restaurants to go to that serve mixed drinks/cocktails. My original plan was the Beehive, but their liquor license just recently got suspended. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Hey all, what are your favorite places to go on Sunday? My husband and I are looking around for breakfast joints and notice a lot of places are closed. I get why but I’m looking for something fun to do while everyone else is in their churches.
Thanks!!
I'm partaking in USU's annual Pumpkin Toss this year and while we were supplied with a kit, we'll need just a few extra items. We'll still be on the hunt for sponsors so if you also know anyone who may be interested in sponsoring my team please DM me! We plan to stick a picture of the business logo onto a pumpkin before we launch it.
The Pumpkin Toss is an event hosted by ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) where students form groups and build a trebuchet. Then on launch day, we launch pumpkins across a field! It's entirely free for anyone who is interested in stopping by. I like to think many young kids would enjoy the show.
My team is currently in the designing process and we're willing to take any extra materials from those summer projects off of your hands! We mainly need wood, some wheels, and heavy blocks for the counterweight.
Please send me a DM if you have any materials you don't want, own a business and want to help sponsor us, or know someone who might want to sponsor us. Last year there were 150 participants and over 1,000 people came to watch the event. Thank you for your time!
I'm looking for fall activities to do around Cache Valley with family, such as apple picking, corn mazes, etc. Any ideas (including indoor activities) welcome!
So… I’ve kind of been ignoring this for a loooong time but I have just become so frustrated at the fact that it’s taking me 3 hours to write a 300 word assignment. I still haven’t started and I can’t take this anymore.
There are a lot of other factors that go into this suspicion of mine. A lot. My brother has been diagnosed as an adult and is on vyvanse and it really helps him. My boyfriend is also on the same medication but he saw a specialist in Salt Lake. I’m not sure who my brother saw, I think our main doctor who I personally wouldn’t choose to see for this reason.
Who do you go to for this? I used to see a psychiatrist for anxiety/depression but stopped going because medicine wasn’t really working for me. I don’t want to rule out medication since this could potentially be a whole different ballpark.
I also am an adult woman and have heard rumors that it’s difficult to get diagnosed as a woman and as an adult. But I seriously don’t know anything. Please just give me advice. I need guidance or I’m going to lose my mind.
Where in the valley has the best apple fritters?
Hello all!
My husband and I just moved to Logan and I’m hoping someone can explain the road system to me. I’m not used to the street numbering system yet and I’ve tried to look it up but it’s not any clearer now. As someone who has trouble with directions and navigation I’d appreciate any help or clearer explanation 😄
Thanks in advance!!
Also I’m learning how to crochet so if anyone wants to get together with a crochet newbie let me know.
I have become really interested in the history of Zanavoo, but there really isn't any information on the internet. I know it used to be a restaurant/lodge and there was a fire in 2007, but does anyone else have any information or stories about it?
I know it's probably the wind caves, but I'm hoping there's something a little bit less intense, that takes around an hour or a little more (not including driving) and has really beautiful views.
Any suggestions?
Is there anywhere in the valley that sells red bean pastries or mooncakes 🥮? I’m really wanting them and don’t even know where to go. I wish we had an Asian market around here.
I get it, y'all don't know how to drive, as evidenced by the regular severe accidents, but DO NOT STOP WHERE THERE IS NOT A STOP SIGN and act like your doing a service to Pedstrians and Bikers. Most of you have windows so tinted we cannot see you flapping your hands inside the car for us to go, the glare off the glass also makes it next to impossible, and also traffic going the other direction likely will not stop because there is no reason. You have the right of way, and are legally required not to impede the flow of traffic. You make it more dangerous for everybody else by stopping in the middle of the road without reasonable cause...
Bicycles on the road are treated similar to vehicles except when there is an obviously clear intersection we are allowed to roll through stop signs. If it's not clear, we wait for our turn like everybody else...
I have moved out of one of his properties well over a month now and still haven’t gotten my deposit back. Has anyone else had a hard time getting your deposit back from him?
UPDATE* We got our deposit but he took out almost $90 because we allegedly ended our utilities a day early. If anyone has ANY advice please let me know!! I know it’s only $90 but dang that’s still a lot nowadays. Thank you!
Anyone else's power down yet again? This is interfering with work at this point...
