So I’m taking a biology 150 class in mc and I’m really struggling with the class. I have a learning disability and this is my 3rd time taking the and I can’t move on with my classes if I don’t pass it. Can someone please help me with some study tips or if anyone had any experience with the class tell me their story? I just really need the help and to pass the class. It’s the biology 150 course.

Why did no one inform me that the nursing program at Tacoma park was not an dual nursing. No where on those papers does it say that you can’t transfer from Mc nursing program to UMD etc. Was told it was like a nursing assistant program… what. Where did it say all that in those advisory course lists.

Anyway now I’m missing a class and I’m fit to graduate this semester…

Also, how do I see what classes were paid for and what classes weren’t and how much each costs?? I’ve been looking around MyMC for ages.

The new portal sucks. I was just getting the hang of the last one and b00m they change it as if if the tutorial did any helping (it didn’t. That’s why I’m complaining STILL).

Hey guys. I failed a biology (210) course with a D. I retook the class during the summer and got an A. My question was regarding how this would be reported on my final transcript. Would the past grade be reported? Or would there just be a note reporting a retake of the course? And would the fact that I retook the class also affect my gpa and transfer potential negatively?

It has helped me to chose my classes and I hope it helps you too. When you finish a class look up the professor names and rate them to help other students to know if they should take the professor class or not. I only received one disbursement, which is half of the grant. Did anyone else get the full amount, or is this normal?

Just finished taking 2 courses for 6 credit hours and was waiting for my pell grant to come through but now that i see it only 1 was required, I just randomly added one to meet 6 credit hours (fulltime) without actually checking if it was required. Now i find out i have a hold on my account and i don't know what to do. I emailed financial aid office already but no response yet, Don't know what to do here anyone got any experience or will i still get pell grant for 1 of the classes?

for this semester only i’ll be paying out of pocket after my financial aid is applied to my bill. with that leftover balance, would i need to pay it in full or could i do a payment plan? how long do i have to pay the balance before a hold is placed on my account? i would call financial aid directly but every time i call i’m always 30th in line and i can’t get to a campus at the moment😭

So I’m trying to decide if I should take CMSC 243 and I’m trying to decide with what professor to take it with. Should I take this class with Ashish Y Shah or should I take it with Jose Angel Vega? If anyone has any useful data on who I should it with, that would be great.

I have had student loans before, in the past. I put Montgomery College on the FAFSA website as my school for the coming year but no loan awards are showing yet. I called Raptor Central and the guy just said they weren't in yet?! Things seem different now than before, or is it that there's a difference between the way financial aid is done at 4 year schools vs 2 year community colleges

Hey all! I'm pretty sure MC just needs to approve my MPN and my Entrance Counseling forms before I receive federal loans but it's taking a really long time (I was gotten back to about financial aid rather late so I couldn't access these forms until two-threeish weeks ago and i filled them out asap)

It's been two weeks now and I'm not sure if I should just pay out of pocket (which would unfortunately come to about half my savings atm) or drop the classes and wait till Spring or something. I'm a new student and was meaning to use student loans to pay for tuition. Am very lost and would appreciate any help. I know August 14th is the day after tomorrow so I have to make a decision soon.
