Hey guys, my husband and I have been trying for about a year now after loss in Feb 2023, but just now getting very serious about it. This is my first time using ovulation strips. I’m confused though, I see most people ovulating at an earlier CD, my app predicted me to start ovulating on CD 22. Is that normal? Also when do you usually start testing LH? Are there any other tips I should know? This is all so confusing and sometimes discouraging 😅
Hi! I unfortunately miscarried my first baby in may and have been ttc since, I’ve been taking folic acid from when I found out and to present day. I’m due on my period tomorrow and have just gone to the toilet to see a pale pink blood but only when I wipe, I’ve been wearing a pad since yesterday as I had the feeling I was about to come on. I’ve never had this sort of bleeding before and I’m wondering if it’s possibly implantation bleeding. I didn’t experience this with my first pregnancy either so I’m not sure.
My husband and I have been not necessarily trying, but also not doing anything to prevent a baby for three months now. We decided this month to actually start trying and I have started using the Premom ovulation strips. I’ve read it’s best not to use your first pee of the day to test. I work from 7 am-5 pm and it would not be easy to test at work. But when I test around 6 pm my levels have been super low. My first test on CD5 was the highest so far. I’ve only been testing for 4 days so far so I may be getting ahead of myself, but I don’t want to miss out when it’s actually go time. Any advice?
I am 26 and ttc w my husband. only on our first cycle! but I have suspected endo and went through a year of physical therapy for vaginismus. I've been on birth control for years, just got off a few months ago. I expressed some concerns/fears to my Dr and she just said I am a young and it will happen. Hopefully she is right but I am looking for success stories & tips from people with similar backgrounds. All I am seeing is negativity :(
Had a positive ovulation test on cd4
I’m meeting with my doctor to get on letrozole at the end of next month. I am really excited! And nervous! I have irregular period and have never been pregnant. Anything I should do to prepare myself? Honestly I’m hopeful but trying not to set myself up for disappointment.
My husband and I are going to start TTC for the first time ever by the end of the year. I’ve tried avoiding looking into all of the technical logistics up to this point bc I knew if I started research sooner, I would’ve become unhealthily obsessed with the entire concept when I wasn’t ready and it would’ve sent me down a spiral. With the average BFP taking 6 mos to a year, I’m going into this with a “learn as you go” mindset, as we won’t feel pressed for time for another year or so. That all being said, what are your best tips for someone going into this, essentially, somewhat blind? What brand of ovulation tests do you recommend? Any tracking apps you like more than others (preferably free)? Any foods/drinks/ingredients both me and/or my husband should avoid while TTC (other than the obvious “eat healthy/clean trope)? How many times should you BD during each FW? Any recommended positions for a better chance at a positive test? I’m very nervous and excited to start our conception journey! Any tips, tricks, advice, and support are greatly appreciated!! :’)
What are some things you guys wish you knew/ did at the beginning of your journey TTC? 🫶🏻
Does anyone else feel like it just won't happen? Send words of encouragement my way, I'm sure many can relate 💜 We've been trying for 3 1/2 months, technically 5 but we took a 2 month break to help me get more regular.
9DPO this morning, first urine of the day and the two tests kind of messed up. Does this count?
Appeared within the 3 minutes, very very light blue.
I took 5mg letrozole days 3-7, cycle day 1 was October 10th, I haven’t had positive ovulation test, I am wondering if I missed it. I’ve had changes in discharge and BBT but if I missed ovulation on opks what day should I start pregnancy testing? I traditionally have abnormal periods, this period was induced with provera.
My partner and I had a pregnancy scare last night because as of today, my period 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test and it had a very faint line but when i took two clear blue they came back negative. I have a IUD, and I am getting it taken out today as with the negative result my partner and I realized that we were hoping for a kid, so we are going to try and conceive. We want to announce by the 16th but when is my next ovulation if my period is 5 days late.. would it be worth trying as soon as I get it out? His family has a history of one and done with pregnancy, like it's very easy so we are hoping to conceive really fast.
First actual month TTC (last couple of months we just weren’t preventing). This month I went all out tracking ovulation with OPKs and BBT and made sure to baby dance as much as we could.. but was this too much? BBT dropped yesterday so expecting AF to arrive any day. I was so sure we wouldn’t miss the window but I somehow we did?
Can someone help me interpret this?
Did I miss my peak?
My lh dropped drastically from 0.7 to 0.19
In late 2022, my wife and I set out on our path to parenthood. Given my history of late-stage cancer and intense chemotherapy during my teenage years, we anticipated some challenges. March 2023 brought us a pregnancy, but our hopes were dashed 7 weeks later. Undeterred, we opted for assisted reproduction, which proved successful. This August, we joyfully welcomed our son. While some find this journey straightforward, for others, it can be an emotional, mental, and financial roller coaster.
Those of us who've faced fertility hurdles know the anxiety that accompanies those initial weeks of pregnancy. I found myself obsessively checking the Datayze Miscarriage Probability Chart, watching the risk percentages tick down each day. While reassuring, I realized this tool had a crucial limitation: it didn't factor in the various infertility issues that could significantly alter these probabilities.
This gap inspired me to create https://miscarriageriskcalculator.app/. This tool offers a more nuanced miscarriage risk assessment by incorporating multiple pregnancy-affecting variables, including infertility factors. Recognizing the intricacies of pregnancy, I've designed the calculator to focus on more typical scenarios, with a maximum risk calculation of 65%. As this is an ongoing project, I'm keen to gather your insights and experiences.
Having experienced it firsthand, I understand how emotionally taxing this journey can be. I've created and dedicated this tool to all aspiring parents who are struggling on their path to parenthood. If you can spare a minute, I'd be grateful if you could complete my survey: https://tally.so/r/nGDY0j
Your feedback will be invaluable in refining the calculator and potentially offering solace to others in similar situations. Thank you for your time and support.
My breasts have been sore/hurting lately so I decided to test, and then I started getting period cramps 24 hours after I took this test. Still no period or sign of coming. I'm also irregular due to PCOS I never know when my cycles coming. This was also taken and seen within the 3 minute timeframe.
I know some people say that it needs to be quite dark for a positive ovulation test. I’m day 11 of my cycle and does this class as a positive? This is the darkest result I’ve had after testing for the past 4 days.
I started ovulation tests on day 8 of my cycle, on day 10 I got a flashing smiley face on my ovulation tests - high fertile, detecting estrogen. I am now on day 15 of my cycle and my tests are still flashing smiley face so this morning was day 6 and I am still getting the flashing smiley! Has anybody had this before?
Hi! I am new to ovulation tracking and have been tracking ovulation since July. I am also working on balancing my hormones. I have never gotten a line this dark before. When I scan my test on Premom app, my highest has only been 0.64 and this tested at 0.76.
Would this be considered my peak? Am I ovulating?
TIA!
Hello! I'm currently waiting another week to test, as also my period should start around the 25/26th of this month. I tried to listen to my body in the last week after trying to conceive, but I didn't have so far any tingle/pinch sensation due to a possible nestling. Is it anyway normal to feel something? I currently have a bit of headache but no other body symptoms. What else should I look at? I'm checking my temperature and so far it is also remaining regularly the same. Thank you!
Big fat positive on lh surge but negative pregnancy test ???? Dpo unknown ..some cramping and fatigue
Negatives
Hi! I just need some kind of clarity before my appointment on Monday. I got a very weird light period at the beginning of the month. I’ve been testing like crazy but everything has been negative. I had 3 betas done, all also negative. My LH strips rose and it seems like I was about to ovulate on 10/13. I’m out this last cycle right? Given all the negatives and LH rising?
