a lip combo with no lip liner
I just love this look for me !
I could deff get this done on 5 min . But it took me about 20min
❤️❤️
A few years ago my sister bought me an Ipsy subscription for my birthday, and one month included a lip crayon from the brand Maëlle. I don't normally use lip crayons, but I tried it, and ended up loving it, and use it regularly, especially when I'm performing in Renaissance faires, because although it doesn't stay glossy, colour more or less stays on to me.
After a few years of regular use, I've found myself getting to the end of it, so I looked it up, and to my horror: It's from an MLM?! That is now defunct!?
Does anyone have ANY experience with "Maëlle Clearly Brilliant Tinted Lips" in Berry and know of a similar product? It doesn't have to be a lip crayon, but a similar colour with a non-drying forumla is really important, because that's what really made it work for performances.
I have Clinique Black Honey (mostly because Arwen wore it lmao) and it has a similar texture, but it's a deeper colour, which I love, but my director finds it too dark when I'm cast with a younger man as my male lead, she prefers a brighter pink like Berry is
This might be a confusing topic. I'm 23 (nearly), and everyone tells me I look young for my age. I'm auditioning for a Medieval Faire, and it's a role I really, really want, and the casting is coming down between myself and a 16 year old girl. My director texted me, "would you be willing to experiment with your makeup to look 18-19? Maybe pinks?" and requested pictures asap.
I have NO idea to do what she wants. Everyone tells me I already look 18 or so, not my actual age. I'm about to cry on my stairs because this is a character from stories that shaped everything about me, that I write poetry about, that I make paintings of, and it feels like it's coming down to if I can look young enough with makeup, when I don't even look old!
I tried skipping eyeliner and just softly lining my upper lids with light brown eyeshadow, and I have on soft white eyeshadow on my waterline. I'm wearing pink blush applied across the cheeks in that very Gen-Z "why are we putting blush on our noses" style. I feel like I clown, I don't feel pretty, and I can't even take a picture because on my phone camera, I still somehow look washed out.
Does anyone have any tips? When you google "how to look younger with makeup" it's all advice intended for people who are older than 22
Edit: I have a very angular face which I think is also causing problems for me
