Hi, I’m going to a halloween party on Saturday night and want to do a full glam look for the costume I’m wearing. I’ve had trouble with foundation in the past…I’ve only ever really worn it for things like prom years ago and I had my makeup professionally done and it looked cakey and not good on my skin. I have dry skin just a little bit with some texture but I moisturize daily. I think BB cream is an alternative but I’m not really sure what is the correct way to go about it..do you guys recommend foundation or BB cream? I wear makeup almost every day and know pretty much everything else but foundation is the one thing I am clueless about and need some help with. Any advice is appreciated thank you :)
I don't wear a lot of make up and seem to always get the wrong shade of foundation and pressed powder.
Where is the best place to go for help getting a better match?
Someone told me I should do a Margot inspired look….I think I overdid it on the glow primer 😂 Apparently I like to look “shiny”, but this was a fun “assignment “ :)
☺️☺️
how do i apply fake lashes and get them to stick? i can apply them but only for an hour or so before they move no matter what glue i use?
So, my (52) sister (50) has eyes just like mine, only lighter. She also has almost nonexistent brows thanks to the 90s (mine are microbladed, or they would also be nonexistent). I was trying to show her how I jazz my eyes up a little, to try to show her something different from the makeup she's been doing for the last 30 years (She's never bothered to learn anything new). I have to keep it pretty simple, or she won't be interested in trying so went with a smoky brown eye. Also, as much as I hate it, including one eye naked to show the difference in before and after.
Suggestions, tips, opinions??
Any good beginner makeup utensil sets? I’m new to makeup so would prefer to have something reasonably cheap but can do the work.
I did this look in 1.5 hours to post a quick tiktok but I may redo it. Any notes to make it more Glam, I typically lean towards more creepy/gore looks on myself.
I have blonde hair, fair skin and freckles. They aren't super dark but noticeable closeup. I rarely wear makeup but when I do, it's a constant battle because I have to wear too much makeup in order to cover my freckles because otherwise, you can just tell I used a light coat of foundation over freckles and it looks bad.
Anyone have a good tutorial to cover freckles? Or good products that cover them without being too heavy?
Also, which moisturizer/products do you use before applying your foundation that prevents your face from looking dry?
Look ok? I need some suggestions on what trends I should try.
