Is this possible? Or is a UV light necessary to get if I want to experiment with gel polish?
Sorry the picture isn’t the best
Hello! As you can see my upper lip is not defined. I had lip filler couple months ago, it made lips more plump of course but not more defined. Do you think I am good candidate for lip blush/permanent tattoo? Could I also achieve a plumpier upper lip look? Thank you!
Hair color for reference, I get much paler than that though but that’s all I have rn!! I need help!! I look like a zombie in the winter. I tan well, but naturally I’m very fair skinned, and it only takes a week of no sun to show that. I have yellow blonde hair (growing out my dirty blonde roots for the first time ever). I used to always have bright blonde but I can’t afford that anymore, that washed me out bad. I had brown hair at one point, that washed me out terribly too. I have no idea how to look more alive. I’ve learned my lesson with fake tanning and I try to avoid tanning beds but I feel at a loss.
I don’t wear makeup often in the winter besides mascara as it just looks so unnatural and forced with how pale I really am. My genetics screwed me as well, my under eyes are sunken in and very purple/gray, which shows so much when I have no color to my face!
Does anyone have any advice? What color hair will do me best? What can I do makeup wise? How do I just look overall less miserable and sick as soon as I’m pale??!!
If any more info is needed to help pls ask, I’m just so desperate right now as it’s getting to be that time of year!
What’s the best Men’s Deodorant WITH Aluminum, and WITH Parabens, and WITH Artificial Fragrance? Being fresh and dry outweighs the negatives of any chemicals. Thanks!!
I have oily skin and by the end of the day my brows look like they are bleeding into my skin but also melting off. I use brow pencils (Patrick Ta and an AB brand). It looks natural and OK in the morning but when I get home from work, my brows are a mess! It looks so bad but I’m not sure what to do. Help!
Especially the reusable face towel. Would that be safe to put on my face?
I’ve heard mixed opinions and results on using vitamin k on your skin for broken capillaries, rosacea, dark circles, etc… has anyone tried it and noticed anything
Is doing your eye brows a necessary part of life such as doing your hair or is it cheating and considered unnatural? I'm not talking about filling in with pencil but just shaping.
Update: a lot of people are asking why I asked? Well, because I don’t like my natural eye brows but I prefer to be a natural person to show the real me. But eyebrows are hair, and hair can grow wild.
I've had this kind of skin a while now and don't really know what to do. After i cleanse my face with soap it only takes about 3 hours until my face get's oily again. And i can't get rid of my flakey skin, should i rub more to get rid of dead skincells even though i've read you shouldn't do that.
The thing is my skin everywhere else is fine not to oily or dry just perfect, just my face has those kind of problems so i just don't know if it's because that part is different or needs more care than cleansing with soap and leave it to dry (or sometimes moisturizing it).
can you please recommend something to conceal a blue vein under my eye?
& also a makeup setting spray? & what does it do exactly? will that help keep blush on longer? i skip foundation & powder most days.
i’ve been waxing/threading/tweezing my upper lip for as long as i can remember, and my hair has gotten so black and coarse that i am constantly removing my hair bc i just look like an actual man if i let it grow.
i bought a laser hair removal gun from amazon and even the lowest setting burned my upper lip making my “mustache” even worse!
not to mention, its created this green shadow even when theres no hair.. and the inflammation/redness after hair removal makes it still look like i have a mustache!
are there any other hair removal methods you guys suggest i stick with or try out to avoid a green shadow.. :’)
Hi, I bathe twice a day, sometimes three times, because I live in a tropical country where it gets really hot. Despite my efforts to keep clean, my right underarm, in particular, always has an odor, even after showering. I have very sensitive skin and use only gentle, skin-friendly products like Aveeno and Cetaphil, which my doctor recommends. I’ve also tried using harsher antibacterial soaps, but they haven’t helped.
My left underarm usually smells normal unless I’m very active, but my right underarm is a different story—it can smell bad even when I’m just sitting still. It feels like a disaster. I’m planning to see a doctor, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas about what might be going on. Thank you
Over the summer I started using salon grade shampoo and conditioner from the woman that cuts my hair and found it really does not make a difference in my hair. I’m about to run out of the two and truly want to find an amazing shampoo and conditioner that I will be able to SEE the change in my hair. If anyone could comment some recommendations or even better if any hair stylist or someone deeply in the hair care world could message me privately that would be amazing. For reference, I do not dye my hair but have been ONLY using sun in for about 10 years (have zero issues with it it’s perfect for me), my roots tend to get oily pretty quickly (within 3 days of a wash), but my ends are definitely a little dry and can cause my hair to frizz up, I’d also say that my hair is wavy but has lost a bit of wave over the last 2 years, I use heat on my hair about 2x a week.
To my fellow dark haired beauties-
If you use a hair gloss and the directions state to use 10% volume there is a chance that it can lift your hair…
I haven’t been coloring or bleaching my hair for a year. I feel like all of this was a waste bc this gloss in random spots lifted my hair (not cohesive or anything -_-)
Thanks wella 😡
I recently saw how good body oil was for skin and keeping it moisturized and added it to my routine. I would use lotion on wet skin and apply a tiny amount of body oil right after and mix it in with the lotion. I used the Palmers Shea Butter oil and I noticed it wasn’t heavily fragranced and did smell a lot like cooking oil which i wasn’t a fan of.
I’m not sure what went wrong but I think the combination of the body oil and my natural body oils caused me to smell very bad like i’ve not showered for days. I’m wondering if any of you have had the same experience with any body oils and if I need to switch brands or if body oil just doesn’t suit me and my skin type (my skin is very oily)
Has anyone tried both of these 2 brands of whitening strips? How do they compare and which would you say is better?

My skin is so dry, specifically on the lower half of my face. The air gets even slightly cold/dry and my face is tight and inflamed. I am applying moisturizer 5x a day, trying to seal in water after I wash my face too, because I know moisturizer can’t keep in moisture that isn’t there
My routine:
I apply all this and within an hour i’m back to tight skin and it’s like i never put anything on. I am practically using a frosting spatula to apply the last 2 moisturizers, it’s astonishing.
I use a humidifier but it doesn’t seem to help. I also hydrate nearly religiously, I don’t think there’s room for improvement there.
Ive been using tretinoin .025% since spring, and it cured my horrible acne, but Im panicking that I won’t be able to use it in the winter. I’m skipping a lot of days and i’m finding clogged pores/small blemishes. And the dryness makes the acne 5x worse, so I don’t even know what’s better?
is there something obvious i’m doing wrong, or do i need to see a dermatologist?
As for me, I feel like I’ve been dressing up a little tacky with those ten color printed tops. I’ve bought dresses with green, pink, blue and beige prints. I thought it was pretty but now I feel it’s too loud. I think solid colors are more appealing fashion wise. What do you like to wear more? Printed clothes or solid colors?
Hey there! I’ve been a vanilla and coconut girl for a while and thinking I want to switch it up. I’ve been watching a lot of TikTok shower routines that have body lotions and perfumes to match afterward etc but can’t seem to find any other than vanilla and coconut. Are there any other scents you can recommend or any routine you have in place that has you smelling amazing all day?
P.S, I’m also in the UK so sadly don’t have access to all the amazing things I’ve seen from the US etc. UK brands only please if possible 🫶
Thank you in advance
Looking for people who have used this product and their honest reviews. Tips, tricks and how long did it take before you seen results.
Just this really. It could feel great when I style it but, after an hour or so, it’ll separate into clumps (as seen in the picture below) and it feels tacky and horrible. As well as knotty and I have to constantly brush my hair.
What can I do about this?
Hello Reddit, fist time user here. I am a 30(f) who’s always had under eye puffiness that makes me look tired no matter how much sleep I get. It’s genetic as well so no topical creams or serums will help as I’ve tried a lot. I’m wondering if anyone here knows if there are procedures (minimally invasive, lasting results) that would either help minimize their appearance or get rid of it altogether. My issue isn’t hyperpigmentation or dark circles. It’s really just the puffiness that I want to get rid of. Any advice helps.
Where is the best place to get your foundation matched? I tried Ulta and they botched is so bad. I tried that ILMakiage and they did the color wrong three times. Or does anyone have a good like AI face scan app that helps you match your skintone with foundation. Undertone wise(according to my veins) my veins look more blueish than purple or green. i wear silver jewelry but thinking of switching to gold. I tan easy. It feels like my neck doenst tan like my face or body does. I feel like my neck is always paler than my face and body which makes it difficult to color match. I wanna start using a brush for foundation i felt like every time I used a sponge it didnt come out right. I dont have rocacia but my skin gets red/flushed easily which is why i really want foundation.
I have dry skin i started doing a skin care routine, I do dermaplan my face. Id like a natural/smoothe look not matte or super shiny
