I bought one five years ago and I personally thought it wasn't as effective as expected, but I'm reconsidering buying one since I'm assuming technology has advanced since then. Has anyone bought one recently? What is your experience with them?
I recently bought a YSL Candy Glow Lip Balm and I did not like the color of it on my lips. I was wondering is YSL accept exchanges? I know in their website they accept returns, but I want to know if I can exchange by physically going to their store?
I have a VERY asymmetrical face. To the point where I look like my nose is slipping to one side of my face and that I have a lazy eye.
I’ve tried makeup tricks and hair styles. But nothing works.
I don’t look terrible in the mirror but when I take pictures it’s extremely obvious.
Anything I can do?
I’m a 25F and sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with me. All of my friends dye their hair, always get their nails done, have tans, get Botox, get lip filler, get laser hair removal, and get their lashes/brows done. I’ve never dyed my hair in my life and my nails are only done occasionally. I don’t wear makeup all the time either. I’m starting to feel like I should be putting more effort into my appearance, but it’s hard for me to care about it. Does anyone feel this way?
So I feel like I have the “Irish waves” type hair, and I really want it to be more wavy rather than straight. I have no idea what products to use or what would be best for my type of hair. Anyone have any advice/ suggestions? (Photo is very similar to my hair type)
Ok so I have extremely frizzy/curly neck hair that grows waaaay down the nape of my neck on both sides. The rest of my hair is straight or slightly wavy. I wash my hair about every four days, use conditioner, leave in conditioner, heat protectant and then blow dry.
These "neck pubes" are so unruly that I was actually epilating them for about two years but gave up due to the maintenance and pain. Since then they grown back completely and I've tried using serum, oils, ultra glue gel, water, pins, pretty much everything - but within minutes these curly hairs pop out from my neck totally separate from the rest of my hair.
I prefer to do a low braid or claw clip so I don't think these are damaging but it really highlights the frizz. Does anyone know how to tame these?
Dupe for this one
Hi, this liner looks beautiful. Which is the closest dupe for this one which i can get in States. I am looking for satin eyeliner
I’ve tried all non invasive techniques including caffeine, vit c, creams, serums, gua sha, rolling, icing etc.
Nothing works, and my quality of life is beginning to take a hit. People always think I’m dying. Feels like rucking shit when someone says you look tired and you feel amazing.
I haven’t done any research, but I’m interested in invasive surgery or injections. If they can actually bring me results.
Anyone have any experience with this? Desperate. Thanks.
Are these super deep lines around my nose supposed to be smile lines or something? Anyway how do I get rid of them or hide them? Thank u in advance ^^
I'm about to make it a habit. I think just a tad apprehensive. Also what do you prep your face with beforehand? I've watched my share of YouTube videos, but I run out of patience. Rather hear from you.
Hi! I’m looking for a nice comb (the style with a handle) for my mom— her all time favorite was one Clinique sent out yearsssss ago because of how smooth it works through her hair and how nice the handle feels. She has fine, wavy hair and uses combs to detangle hair after washing.
I’ve been looking at the Mason Pearson detangling comb and some other beautiful combs that sadly don’t have handles (Bachea, Act+Acre, Oribe), but want to know what combs people actually recommend and love using!
Please help! I’m a full face girly pretty much everyday and I’m currently using a makeup eraser cloth with a gentle face wash to remove makeup. I use just the cleanser again afterwards in my hands for good measure but I feel like 1) my face is dry afterwards and 2) I didn’t even get all the makeup off. Any tips or products that you recommend?
Hi, all! I have a round shaped curling iron that I use like a wand. Can anyone tell me how curls would look different (or maybe the same?) with an oval wand? Saw one at Ulta and I’m curious.
My face is soooo dry these days. I’d like to add a face mist to my daily routine. Something super hydrating that I can spray on as needed throughout these cold winter days. Thanks!!! 😊
I've tried everytime but no matter much often or lack of washing my hair it's greasy 24/7. Even the second after I was it. What shampoo's can I use that will help me??
Type the weird thing out loud- we listen and we don’t judge!
Even if you LOVE the scent
Ofcourse not the vag!
Last time I wore make up (beyond mascara) was several years ago.
I have several big events coming up and would love to wear make up to those events, and if i like it potentially on regular days as well.
What do I need to buy?
The events that I'm referring to are weddings, a friends birthday, and a family reunion. The only thing I own so far is mascara (but its likely dry now).
Do you have tips/things I should know?
I’ve heard about the JOVS dpl devices, such as the blacken pro one, but all the reviews especially on YouTube seem to be sponsored or Ads. Does it actually work for photo rejuvenation and help with skin problems like acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, etc?
Anyone else mourn their youth while still being considered young?
I am in my late twenties and spent most of my twenties isolated due to mental health/addiction. I am still considered young but I miss the effortless visceral beauty of my early twenties. Even with a face full of acne, I had great skin. I miss my full luscious hair. I didn't do any skin care or any self care then (aside vigorous exercise) and I looked fantastic. I wish I had taken pictures then. I was a photo phobe. Today I put on lipstick and was shocked at how aging it looked. I still look fairly young but my lower face gives away I am older (nlf folds, marionette lines, fine lines, etc). I feel crazy for feeling this way. I have gotten fillers to replace cheek volume and I look....just okay. Like a simulacrum of my former self. Next I am planning to get microneedling and maybe sculptra. Maybe a laser. My hair...it feels like I used to have three times as much hair and now it's nearly always dry. I still have a crap ton of hair but it doesn't feel the same. Anyway appreciate what you have before its gone
Hello kind people. I have been wondering and unable to google myself to a good answer but is the Naked Sundays sunscreen available in the US the same as the one in Australia?
I ask because I have been a long time user of Ultra Violette which o pick up in the Uk when home. If I don't time my trips right I can run out and am interested in trying Naked Sundays but only if it is the same as the Australian version. Sorry the US formulation of sunscreens sucks.
Thanks!
