I LOVE the way this cream makes my skin look by itself, it's so hydrating and glowy. However when I do my makeup, it makes my base pill really bad. I wanna be able to use this product correctly because of how hydrating it is though.
For reference, under my base I use the Rhode Glazing Milk, the Cosrx Snail Mucin Power Essence, then the La Roche Posay Triple Repair Cream
Should I just start using the cream by itself? Or just cut it out of my makeup routine?
Hey so the Tower 28 lip balm in the shade "dulce de leche" is always out of stock at Sephora and I really like the colour— does anyone have other alternatives that is similar to this shade? Thanks!
Hey can anyone help me with the shade of lipstick JLo is wearing in the movie Unstoppables. This shade is what she is wearing in the opening scene where her son is fighting the match.
Title is pretty much self explanatory.
I’m going to have a breast implant surgery this coming Saturday. And right now I’m pretty nervous about it cuz I have no idea how much pain it’s gonna cause and whether it’s going to leave a bad scar or not. I had a c section about 4 years ago and I still remember the pain, I woke up screaming and crying in the hospital, after discharge I was in bed for like literally a month and can’t do anything, for first couple of weeks I even need help to just get outta bed, plus until now the scar is still there and very obvious. Anyone had both surgery can plz share your experience with me? Really appreciate :)
My lashes are falling off because I curl it aggressively. I have jojoba oil, sunflower oil, vitamin E oil, castor oil, and aloe gel, but I don’t know which of those to use to make lash serum. I also have know idea about the ratio. Please help. Thank youu 🥲
As an esthetician working at Benefit brow or Ulta what is the pay and experience like?
Hiii
Can anyone tell me how harmful it could be to not get 6 week move ups with hand tied wefts? I have 3 rows of hand ties and they’re in need of a move up but I just simply can’t afford it right now. If I were to wait and just take really delicate care of them can I go even longer in between move ups? Is there a way to do a mini at home?? Anyone with experience on their own or professional experience please! Thank you
What the actual hell can I do to fix this lol!
I’ve always had huge pores but man, I feel so ugly!
I keep seeing these videos of these needleless lip filler pens on my fyp. I was wondering how safe they are because I’m thinking about investing in one.
I’m getting a blonde balayage in a few weeks and I wanted to know if there are any tips for maintaining the colour, especially for super dark brown, thick hair. I’ve had many colours in the past including blonde and my hair takes colour pretty well, but I want tips for not only maintaining the colour but also for keeping my hair as healthy as possible with the bleach. Thank you!
I have blue and purple on my left wrist, but blue and green on my right wrist. Please help. I know I could be neutral, but does that mean I could wear both gold and silver? I dislike silver as a color but I still wanna know what would look best on me and fit my contrasts. Maybe white gold rather than yellow? I'm of North African and Italian descent and have a light skin tone, but not considered fair. I'm also having trouble with my color palette. Idk what season I am because a lot of colors look good on me. I just want something that makes my face glow
so this gloss is currently on sale through ulta and im tempted to buy it. however, i cant find any photos of someone wearing it. kinda long shot but does anyone have this and are you willing to post a photo with it on?
Hello, the left side of my jaw is much more developed than the right side. And it looks so obvious/bad in the pictures.(Especially the rear camera) Its probably because I slept too much to the left when i was child and my face tilted to the left (including my nose). Now im 21 years old and really dont know what to do.
And I never want to spend money/time/effort on a surgery. Can I at least make my jaw more symmetrical without surgery?
Hello everyone! I need recommendations. I just joined this group, i'm not sure if this topic has been discussed yet.
My flat iron stopped working after over 10 years of use.
I would love a new one, but i dont have much money to spend, can someone recommend me a good one that would last, work very good and not be crazy expensive. Thank you all so much for the help!
I read that it’s unsafe to inhale silica dust, and while I understand that would likely not be happening when it’s in a cosmetic, it is totally possible to ingest some if it’s on your lips. I never gave this a second-thought in the past, but I keep seeing silica as a cosmetic ingredient.
If you could only limit yourself to 5 supplements or herbs what would they be? Here are mine: -magnesium -vitamin d3 -ginger -turmeric -collagen
I have extraordinarily straight, fairly thin hair. To add a bit of volume, I've for years used a several "layers" of an extra strong hold hairspray. I wear it in a side part that's longer on top than the sides (not quite an undercut... not sure how to describe it), and start by sort of combing the top back, applying hairspray, pulling it forward with a comb, adding a bit more hairspray, and sort of building that up so that there is a bit more volume in the front and on top. I have a pretty significant widow's peak, and so part of the goal here is to pull it forward and hide both the widow's peak and a bit of my forehead.
I can't find a good comparison image online. Prior to applying the hairspray, imagine it looking something like thisbut shorter on the sides, maybe a teensy bit "flatter". The hairspray procedure adds some volume on top and keeps the side part covering the forehead.
I've never been quite satisfied with this. Some days it works better than others, and it takes a lot of work to add any volume or texture. I'm also sure it's pretty terrible for my hair. I have very oily hair, scalp, and skin, and have managed to avoid my hair being dry post washing out the hairspray, but by the end of the day it's this not so great looking combination of hair-sprayed hair and oil. I've been trying to identify an alternative, but I'm struggling to find anything suitable for daily use. Here's what I've considered:
What products would you suggest using that accomplish adding volume and texture, hold my hair in place reliably, and are safe for daily use?
I'll be meeting up with my SO soon and wanted to know what would the best way to pretty up my dry skinned hands? Also here's another issue. My hands aren't exactly "normal". My fingers at least. When I was a kid I used to bite my fingers and squeeze my hands a lot due to excessive stimming. I know doctors prescribe these wristbands that people like me can bite so they don't damage their hands but my parents kinda ignored my symptoms and yeah, my fingers look swollen and ugly I guess. I've told my SO about it and they said that I shouldn't sweat it but at the same time I want to present myself as nice as possible.
Also I do have a hand cream I use from time to time and I bought for the first time hand moisturizer masks I haven't used yet. Is there anything I else I could potentially get?
Hi! I'm a student in college and for my entrepreneurship class this semester, I need to build a new product that addresses an unmet customer need. My idea is a custom made high heel that uses foot scan data to assign each customer to the perfect width, size and create a built in custom insole based on your foot shape and architecture (how high your arch is, your pain points, etc). Right now, I need to validate demand, so I'd love to hear your opinions about this product. Would you buy it? Would you want to try it? if yes, at what price point.
I really appreciate any feedback! Thank you.
I know you're out there. Are you here? I just started and am curious what to expect.
Hi all! I’m getting married in 2025 summer, and I’m looking for products, advice and tips on applying my own makeup. I only really wear mascara, eyeliner (if going out!), blush and sometimes elf halo glow filter. I really want to look glowy and lovely but scared I won’t know what I’m doing! I’m not looking to spend loads but if the product is good then happy to. I’d say I have “normal” skin just a lot of blemishes and uneven tone.
Hi everyone, I’m about to buy my first wig as I really hate my hair and want some change, but I don’t know anything about wigs. What should I know ? Thank you !
I’m a 30yo mom of two little kids and I’ve sort of lost myself. I’m going out tonight and want the full bombshell milf look. I’m pretty average looking at best these days and typically keep my makeup super simple.
Aside from a blow out, what other makeup and beauty tips do you recommend?
For those of you who were bummed out by the rebrand, Amazon has a price drop on the original formula. It won’t arrive for a few weeks, but a good opportunity to stock up before it’s phased out.
Just bought a new Nars concealer and i noticed these blue numbers on the bottom that were not there in my old one. Any idea what they could mean ?
My go-to shampoos lately have either been Native, or Herbal Essences Honey Daily Moisture shampoo.
However I keep having issues with my scalp and roots (somehow dry and greasy at the same time?). I occasionally use clarifying shampoo, T Sal, or an ACV rinse to help with the problem, but I’d like to try some different daily shampoos to see if that helps.
(The two shampoos I named are both sulfate free and I’ve been mostly sulfate free for about 12 years, but I’m willing to try a “regular” shampoo if there’s one y’all recommend!)
So what is your favorite shampoo?
