The patches just rip out my white heads (same result as popping them) and they don’t work on the red dots
Hello!
25F here, getting into skincare more. I personally didn’t really have a routine because I’ve had generally pretty clear skin (bless!) and I have sensitive skin so never really saw the appeal. Products I had tried in the past would sting and didn’t really do much for me. I’ve heard products with centella help with redness, but haven’t tried any.
Here are the products I currently use:
Introstem: facial stem cell peeler Introstem: stem cell day moisturizer
I LOVE these products, but I try to only use them once in a blue moon because they were a gift and… let’s just say I’m not in that tax bracket to be buying it all the time.
Products I use daily on rotations:
Mida (미다) rice bran scrub foam (this one stings if I leave it on too long though, so I usually do this quickly)
Tia’ll: pore minimizing 21 cream: this is fine on my skin but I haven’t seen a noticeable difference. I also don’t use it everyday though, I don’t know if I should be.
Beauty of Joseon Ginseng essence water: I usually use this like you would a rose water spray.
Milano Green godess sleep mask + primer: I usually apply this before bed when I’m feeling extra dry. I also do it after other steps.
General rotations:
I use both introstem products & rose water once a week. No other products. Usually after my showers in the morning.
Rotations Mida rice foam to cleanse (always, unless it’s introstem day) then I use either the pore minimizing cream for moisture, a sunscreen, or (I used to have a beauty of joseon moisturizer but I ran out and I can’t remember the name). Then I do either a few spritz of rose water or ginseng water
I’ll apply the green goddess sleep mask usually in the winter.
To be honest I’m not 100% sure I know the differences between cleaners, toners, serums, etc… or what they’re good for. But any help in my routine or products you may recommend for sensitive skin, hyperpigmentation, dry skin and large pores would be greatly appreciated.
I find that this is one of the only moisturizers that doesn't clog my pores, but it's just not moisturizing enough. After applying my skin feels dry and tight. I have dry acne prone skin. The dryness is probably in part due to the tretinoin I use at night.
Any suggestions for a different moisturizer? I tried the Lipikar AP+ Triple Repair Moisturizing cream and it was far too oily and broke me out. I'm open to other brands.
I've already done excel v and vbeam, neither of which made my capillaries less visible. Has anyone noticed long term improvement in the appearance of their telangiectasia/capillaries with the use of tretinoin, or any other topical? I know it's not a fix, but I'm talking marginal improvement and reduced visibility. Thank you!
Should I get 0.05% retinaldehyde or 0.025% tretinoin? What about 0.5% tretinoin?
I'm 24, I have oily skin, not particularly sensitive but I've had allergic reations before. I've been using glycolic acid for a few years now but it's just not cutting it anymore - I have one singular very faint but definitely visible smile line in the left side of my face that drives me crazy lol. I'm also experiencing what I believe to be hormonal acne, it's in my chin and pretty persistent and painful. I've had no luck with my usual acne routine and finding a good derm in my area that'll take my insurance is tough
My current routine is:
How much time should I give a new product to work before I decide it’s not for me and switch to something different? Nothing is irritating my skin or anything like that but how long should I expect to see results from something like a peptide serum, etc?

My current routine is the cerave foaming cleanser Benton snail bee high content skin toner The ordinary Hyaluronic acid The ordinary organic cold pressed rose hip oil Maybe some retinol, Cerave moisturizing lotion
Of these two, I would like to try a lip balm. I'd like some advice on which to choose. I need something long-lasting and extremely moisturising. I absolutely love trying out different lip balms, and I know they're both fantastic. I want to try one of these two; I've tried a number of them.
Okkkk so I just bought the glow recipe niacinamide dew drops. I want to buy both a moisturizer and a sunscreen to put on top of it for a morning routine but it’s important to me that it won’t pill under makeup. I feel like I have really neglected my morning skin routines on makeup days bc I’m just so afraid of pilling and I usually skip it in the AM….
I would love to hear some recommendations for a good moisturizer and a sunscreen that will work well with the dew drops.
Btw I was thinking of buying the Missha essence sun milk because I heard really positive things about it :)
THANKS in advance🫶🏼
I have been trying to go through all of my products to have a clear out but also find a routine that works for me.
I have narrowed it down but I am still experiencing some texture/dry skin and I have redness (although I think that is sun damage that has never gone away).
Should I try a serum for dry skin? Any recommendations?
I have sensitive skin so I am a little worried about going in blind and picking a product that’s too harsh.
I had gastric bypass 3 months ago. My double chin as now turned into lose skin. Looking for recommendations for a routine to help with aging and loose skin. I am most concerned about my face, but have this issue full body.
Note: especially interested in Korean skincare products…heard they are the best? Also I have very dry skin.
I am honestly at a loss. I’ve tried a lot of aluminum-free deodorants and none have truly helped with odor and sweat. I understand that they are not antiperspirants, but they typically help absorb some sweat and are mostly used to control odor. I went through the “purge” period years ago, so I should be fine.
I’ve tried Native, Secret (aluminum-free), Dove (aluminum-free), Lume, and Dr. Squatch. I ultimately reverted back to regular-old Dove since that worked for me in my teens, but I really don’t care to use aluminum deodorant. Any recommendations? Thanks :)
i was doing some reading and was getting confused, so i asked ai to make me a schedule for which product to use with what and when. can you rate this? also is it safe to follow?
I have spent far too much money on moisurizers and have bery sensitive skin. when applied, intislly felt fine, but after probsbly 10 seconds rheres a slight burning / heat sensation on my skin.
Im leaning toward the fatty alcohol, but im not sure.
AVÈNE THERMAL SPRING WATER, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, SQUALANE, CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE, CETYL ESTERS, AQUAPHILUS DOLOMIAE EXTRACT FILTRATE, ARGININE, BEESWAX, CITRIC ACID, TROMETHAMINE, WATER, XANTHAN GUM.
I busted top lip in April 2024 emergency room said I didn’t need stitches (I definitely did) and I was left with a lump of scar tissue that obstructed my smile and it never went away. I recently got it removed by a plastic surgeon. Because it’s located inside of my mouth (the the mucosal layer) I just wanted to know what the normal process of healing is and when it would be fully mature?
I got the surgery 2 weeks ago with dissolvable stitches, there are still a few stitches in and it already looks smoother but there is still a residual bump and it’s quite a lot harder than before the surgery, will this dissipate over time? It wasn’t the same feeling to when I busted it the first time.
If so, which one's best for acne prone and oily skin? Any other recommendations especially for dark or wheatish skin tone which won't leave a white cast.
tried searching on this but to no joy. I am using Facetheory moisturiser with SPF for the first time. I normally moisturise then oil but I'm wondering if I should use a serum first then moisturise and not use oil during the day as the oil might limit the efficacy of the SPF. Views welcomed please! Thank you
For context, I am treating my body hyperpigmentation by applying the 10% Glycolic Acid + Lactic Acid body lotion by Advanced Clinicals on my body and leaving it overnight. I make sure to use a modest amount, rub everything in as good as I can and leave it to dry for a good 20-30min before I wear my clothes. Even then, I feel my pyjamas sticking to my body and it’s incredibly uncomfortable and feels gross. What do yall suggest I do? So far I can think of either buying pyjamas with a different material or changing out the material of my bedsheets and sleeping naked in them.
Hi I would like to include this product in my routine, may I ask if anyone knows which sequence should I apply this?
My current routine as below
AM - Cleanser, Vitamin C Serum, Moisturizer
PM - Cleanser, Retinol, Moisturizer
Thanks a lot!
i’ve been putting 0.1 trentinoin on my body for red stretch marks but it’s going slower than i want it to do i thought i’d do a red light booth as well to speed things up. i put my retinol on at night so i’m thinking of taking a shower in the morning to rinse off all the retinol but i wonder if i should still moisturize after since it dries out my skin before i enter the red light booth.
Is it their composition is safe for skin and body system or their benefits completely outweigh the risks? Especially chemical sunscreen on long run?
By mild i mean 1-5 inflammed spots.
What was the food that finally made you stop having occasional breakouts?
I've been wondering because that's my current situation and I read a comment in this sub detailing how quitting eating chocolate covered snacks at work stopped their occasional breakouts. Also saw someone say this about pretzels, so i am a bit unsure of all the foods that can cause acne.
Ive been thinking of what could be causing me acne and i really have no clue except for that i now drink oat milk since milk gives me cystic acne. And i eat a lot of oats but they are low GI.
