Anyone know what would be up with my skin? And how I could fix it? My forehead is darker
Then my cheeks are extremely light especially around my nose.
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, and dryer cheeks
Hey everyone! I'm a college student studying global studies who is currently conducting a project relevant to this subreddit's discussion on beauty for people with dark skin. I’m conducting an ethnographic study to understand how communities like this one discuss and navigate access to products.
To explore this, I’m particularly curious about:
Your input would be incredibly valuable. All responses will remain anonymous, and participation is entirely voluntary. Feel free to comment below or DM me if you’re more comfortable. Thank you so much for considering helping me with this! I’m happy to answer any questions about the study or share my findings once it’s complete.
Just wondering are whirl and velvet teddy worth it? And which one should I get first? i am NC 40-42
I dont have access to testers for the TIRTIR cushion foundation and I wanted to buy one a bit blindly. I was wondering what shade would be appropriate for me considering i have a 290 shade on the Pro filt'r fenty foundation. if anyone else has the same shade and a tirtir cushion match id highly appreciate their help. thank you
This has been the bane of my existence. For as long as l have known, I have always had people ask me "what happened to your hands? Hey I guess you have something near your fingers." And so many more ways I have been questioned about this. I remember I was about 15/16 and insisting my parents to take me to a doc so we can get this checked. And they always responded with "Maybe you have Vitamin deficiency. Let us prescribe you some multivitamins." And it was all done to no avail. I'm 30 now, been working out for past 3 months and also eating very clean and healthy. I have tried applying everything from Tretinoin to Hydroquinone. Q switch Laser too. Please help. I'm desperate to know cause I wanna be at peace. I keep looking up if I have Insulin resistance or if it's some other hormonal imbalance that I'm dealing with or is this just my skin?!?!?
There is a company claiming to change your skin colour by using there products

can anyone help me find my shade in the new one size foundation, there are no sephora stores near me 🥴
I'm about MAC NW50, Fenty 450, Sephora 59N/61P, and in between NARS New Caledonia and Namibia, if they had a shade in between that wasn't as olive as Iguacu 😭 and I have a neutral undertone. I think I'm around 55R / 65NR but its so hard to tell and there aren't that many people posting with my range.
i have a friend who's coming back from the usa and i want to get the tir tir foundation. i tried to use findation but i dont think its very accurate so was hoping someone from this subreddit could help me out. i wear the nars soft matte concealer in the shade walnut MD 2.6, the maybelline fit me concealer in 40 caramel and the l'oréal paris true match in 8/8.5. i'm warm toned and have hyperpigmentation. any help would be greatly appreciated!
Daily makeup wearer here with an embarrassing confession: I don’t wear sunscreen. 😬 And it’s for a dumb reason - that you have to reapply. My dermatologist said that the SPF in my beauty products aren’t enough to get the job done. Daily sunscreen wearers - how are you doing this? What kind of sunscreen do you wear and how often do you reapply? Also are you a makeup wearer?
I’ve tried oiling overnight and lots of leave in conditioner but I’m in my 40s now and hormone changes mean my hair looks and feels like fuzzy straw. Any ideas?
I have tan-to-deep skin with warm undertones. I’m looking for a cool-toned cream contour to apply under my powder bronzer. I absolutely love Fenty Match Stix in the shade “Suedish” but the formula is too dry. I’m looking for an alternative. Any recommendations?
I’ve considered Sephora Collection Cream Contour Sticks in 03 (medium to tan) but I don’t know if it’s cool enough. I hate when “contours” have a reddish (warm) tone…
Hello all
I'm trying to figure out what shade I am in danessa myricks skin tint and sephoras shade match isn't working 😐 I was matched to mac nw47. Does anyone have any suggestions? Tyyy
Can someone suggest a similar shade dupe for the deep pink lipstick shown in this video?
I’m a South Asian female with a relatively light to medium, very olive complexion. I thread my upper lip regularly, but always have not just dark pigmentation on my upper lip, but pigmentation that has a very greenish hue to it giving it the appearance of a five o’clock shadow. I use peach-colored color correctors to minimize the appearance of it which works a little bit, but it often still shows, even when I pair it with a concealer.
Orange color correctors don’t work for daily use as they require me to pack on a lot more product to cover up the orange. Is there any other way to minimize this through skincare? Or any product recommendations?
Which is best to use for the colder, drier months? Which is best to use for a photoshoot? Also, I have oily skin, that gets a little dry in the fall/winter. I’m going for a minimal/no makeup makeup look.
