So, I want to know what's the general consensus on Fenty Skin. The other day, I was searching on the sephora app for a new toner and I found the two from Fenty Skin, the milky one (day) and the syrup one (night) and before I purchase, I'd like to know if Fenty is a good skincare brand. I mostly know their makeup line is amazing, but what about their skincare?
Hi all
I made an order with Sephora for 3 items and only received 2, my order arrived 3 weeks ago but an expensive ($200+) item was missing from my order and the other two items were in there. Immediately contacted customer service who told me ‘the order is fulfilled’ on their end.
Then I contacted the courier and got pictures and measurements of my package confirming it was half the size of the item I actually ordered.
(I ordered an electrical tool and the box they sent could fit in my palm.)
There was also no packing slip in my box which makes me believe the order wasn’t checked before being sent out.
Unfortunately customer service seem unwilling to refund me and I constantly have to chase them up for a response. Afterpay is also not assisting since I used this method to pay.
Paypal (which I should’ve used) has a section where you can dispute a purchase and make a claim however Afterpay state they’re responsible for payment not for returns.
I highly advise for all to not make expensive purchases with Sephora online during busy sale periods especially. Any advice on who to chat with as I’m starting lose my patience.
Curious if anyone has ever seen something work on dark, hereditary under eye circles? I’ve spent a lot over the years and never really noticed any difference.
anyone noticed a new 'your orders' section on their tiktok and when clicked, shows orders you've made recently (not through the app) at mecca etc? wondering if im alone in this..
I cannot find my shade of Shape Tape anywhere!!! 😭 I went to Sephora yesterday and they hardly had any shades! It's also out of stock online- both Sephora and Tarte website.
Can't find anything about this online. Are they having supply issues? Anyone else noticed this?
Hi all, looking for tips on how to straighten hair at home like they do at the salon so it’s super sleek and shiny, like a waterfall that is all ‘together’. Please drop all the secrets!!
I have 2c/3a curly hair and only straighten very occasionally, but am always left with frizz and ‘puffiness’ when I straighten at home, especially my top layer of hair. Looking at the individual strands some still have a wirey wavy look while others are flattened out. I know it’s achievable with my hair because the salon does it so nicely.
I had suggestions of ColourWow Dream Coat but I found it didn’t work even when trying to use it as instructed. I normally use a round bristle brush to blow dry straight with tension then straighten with the iron.
guys!!!!! please help me find a dupe for australis grlboss catwalk lipstick that was discontinued. it is my mums favorite and ive been trying to find it for her for christmas but with no luck, so have decided to try find something similar. does anyone know of any lipsticks similar to the catwalk shade? please let me know, have attached some pics for reference <3
Hi, I always use the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray and always purchased it online through Mecca, but today I went to re order and now it’s gone from their catalogue? What happened😭😭
Also if anyone could recommend a setting spray that is similar that would be great.
I’ve tried Urban Decay and didn’t like it since it felt really heavy and made my skin look so oily.
Just noticed the MCoBeauty number 5 scent (the purple one) spray/ roll on oil has been removed from sale everywhere. Does anyone know why?
If you suck at applying falsies, but haven’t tried under lashes, please try them. I find them soooo much easier and if you mess it up they are really forgiving. I try not to overuse this term but: game changer! The clusters make it easy to adapt your look too. There are nice online brands or the major brands have them in Priceline and Chemist Warehouse.
Thought I’d make a post about this because I’m literally in shock about how much of a ripoff Adore is. Not only is their ‘rewards system’ pretty much useless, but their prices for common brands and products are outrageous. I was browsing today and here are some of the products + prices on there compared to other online retailers.
L’Oréal Glowtion-$19.99 everywhere else, $39.99 on AB
Corsx Peptide serum-$25-30 everywhere else, $55 on AB
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid-$9.50 at Priceline, $40 on AB
La Roche Posay-Cicaplast Baume-$29.37 at Chemist Warehouse, $41.95 at AB.
Has anyone else noticed such a big discrepancy in their prices? I’m honestly just shocked that they are such a reputable brand despite this.
Hi all! I'm looking for recommendations for a new foundation. I have pale, pink toned skin. Combo skin with occasional acne flair ups in my T zone, and slight pigmentation from pregnancy on my forehead.
I've been using Estee Lauder double wear foundation for yeaaaars and it stays on. But I'm looking for something that's not as thick for summer that helps cover up any acne/redness/pigmentation.
Any ideas? Something that's budget friendly would be amazing too. My budget won't allow me to go too crazy trying different ones. Please help!
The A'kin Shampoo and Conditioners were my favourite 2C/3A haircare products two or three years ago. For whatever reason, I can't find this specific line in-store (at Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, etc.) anymore even though they were readily available in the past. The best I could find online were Amazon listings for ridiculously marked-up prices ($80+), too. There are still seemingly deep conditioners and shampoos from this brand available, but apparently with wildly different ingredient lists. Where did these specific shampoos and conditioners go, with the different fragrances (Avocado&Canula, Ylang Ylang&Quinoa, Wheat Protein, Rosemary)?
Most importantly, does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives with similar formulations? Thanks! x
I'm looking for a hair care brand that I can't remember the name of and threw away my last bottle :(
I was using a foam that you put in damp hair, it was an aerosol bottle that was white, with cursive teal text in around the bottle.
I got it from my hairdresser but she's moved away now and I can't ask her.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank you in advance!!!!
I need more Luminous Silk foundation, I'm running out.
I tried other foundations before, nothing looks as good and natural as this one. But it's too expensive, hard to justify unless there's a decent sale.
Does Myer / DJs have sales on Armani often? Where's another good place to buy this? It's $115 a bottle, oof. It used to be $95 when I first started using it, but they kept hiking up the price.
I know I can buy some items at other retailers but it's not always easy to find certain brands elsewhere.
Seriously priceline, you need a bloody better anti theft system than ruining everything with cheap sticky tape and security sticker residue..it's fucking gross.
Rant over.
Hi all! I'm about to finish my bottle of ilia skin tint, I've loved everything about the formula, but the bottle leakage drives me crazy. I just can't bring myself to repurchase when so much has leaked through my make up bag. I reckon I've lost 30% of the bottle, even sitting upright on my make up stand I constantly get product leaking through the lid
Can any recommend something similar? I've tried samples of hourglass skin tint and kosas BB burst but didn't love like I did the ilia :(
Help! My all time favourite fountain has been discontinued. Does anyone know if there’s a replacement coming in or where I can source colour 240?
Thanks all
hello everyone! just bleached my virgin black (seasian) hair for the summer to wholeheartedly embrace those sunshiney/holiday vibes, and now i'm sitting at a very lovely peachy-strawberry blond shade (somewhere between a level 7-8)! this seemed like a brilliant idea on paper but as we all know australian summer entails a lot of being at the beach/pool and a lot of being in the sun, neither of which bleached hair agrees with very well lol. wondering if anybody has any tips for keeping my hair healthy and my tone nice while i make the most of the good weather?
my hair routine prior bleaching was pretty sparse, just the tsubaki gold shampoo+conditioner and hask argan oil for washing, and the de lorenzo ocean mist for styling. i never style my hair with heat so that's not a factor for me. so far i've got the evo fabuloso purple shampoo but no other products. gonna leave the tsubaki stuff to the side for now since it has SLES, so would love recommendations for a good shampoo+conditioner, and any hair masks / leave-in conditioners / uv sprays (?) / etc for protecting against the sun, saltwater and to a lesser degree chlorine. ideally stuff easy to find in australia, not too expensive (i am willing to invest in the good stuff but it's xmas season so not a lot of disposable income going around rn lol) and i'd appreciate general care tips as well since i've never done this before!
for reference, i have short hair (like a pixie cut on the long side) and its very straight + fine, very thick, more oily than not but pretty balanced. at the current moment it doesn't feel too bad, it's quite dry but not too frizzy, and there's no breakage or split ends so far.
thanks in advance!!! hope you're all keeping hydrated and sunscreened up ☀️☀️☀️
I saw this today by mco, how would it tighten your skin? What’s the science behind it? I’m not convinced it would even work. Has anyone tried and had success with a cream like this?

I'm trying to find this old, discontinued lipstick that my Nanna used to use so that I can colour match it and get her something very similar to it for Christmas.
The shade name is Cinnamon Toast and was either a David Jones brand or a lipstick that you could buy at David Jones. I'd describe the colour as a semi-muted brownish red or pink.
I think it was discontinued within the past decade or so.
Any info on this lipstick or any dupes would be much appreciated!
Does anyone know if the body shop is discontinuing the satsuma range?
It has been my mum and I’s favourite range from them for about 2 years now.
We went to purchase a shower gel in store tonight and I thought it was strange how it was reduced and then I read the receipt and it said “final chance”.
And when I look at the website everything from that range says “email when back in stock”
Thanks so much if anyone knows.
Will honestly be confused and devastated if it’s discontinued since it’s such a popular range from them and such a unique scent.
