You know when you have a makeup idea and you’re thinking of ways to best go about it but you start looking up the topic and get other people’s suggestions or poor usage of descriptions so you’re shown something totally different than what you’re looking for? Like I’ll be looking for how others use lip balm to sheer out lipstick but instead I’m getting videos on lip gloss (I have sensory issues and cannot do most popular lip products only some balms, classic lipsticks, and lip liners.. so lip glosses, liquid lipsticks, and lip glosses labeled as lip oils make my face get stuck on stupid trying to cope with the feeling) and other products. Or you’ll get bad lip hacks. It never scratches the itch of what you want you know?
Sometimes I’ll want to see smudged liner looks then I’ll see videos of it but then at the end of the video they nuke the whole look with a winged eyeliner and it just never scratches the itch.
Do I need these makeup videos? No. Do I want to see others doing the ideas or other easier ways of what I’m thinking? Absolutely. Will I ever get it? Never. I just wanted to know if anyone ever feels the same way or just pure disappointment when searching for a very specific (and apparently niche) look/technique and never finding it. Even if I can do it myself I want to see if others came up with an easier or less messy way of doing something.
So, I've been searching for the products her makeup artist used to create this look. I've searched on numerous websites and foudn the following products but correct me if I'm wrong! (The lipliner seems the same, but I have my doubts about the lipstick):
Came to found out they've both been discontinued. Is there a new lipliner that replaced this one when they discontinued it? If they're both wrong could someone tell me the right products😃
Absolutely obsessed with this beautiful, goddess like golden look. Any tips or product recommendations as to how to recreate this look? In particular I’m looking for recommendations for the golden lip look and golden highlighter.
This lady is giving some serious Mel from Arcane vibes and I’m here for it.
Hi! Im looking for (preferably a pallette) with sheer base sparkly/shiny/multichrome eyeshadows.
I have a lot of kaleidos palettes (and with that their tipper shades) and thats kind of the formula i want but they’re often very bright and colourful and thats all good and nice but not for the office.
I have some other toppers in some ABH palettes and some other random stuff. But im a bit out of the loop on the releases in the past couple years so im hoping/windering if theres a a good palette of just toppers anywhere? Or just individual shadows from some brand that has them as singles works also.
Ill take any suggestion except colourpop 😅 Too much in shipping
Are my veins green? I have been trying to figure out what my undertones are for awhile. I tanned easily as a child, but avoid tanning now. My face is pink/ red from rosacea. I can never tell which looks better, silver or gold. Or the difference between whites and creams with me. Thanks!
In case anyone’s curious, here are her nude-ish palettes at vastly different price points.
Right: $250 (Brown-Green), Middle: $130 (Biba), and Left: $60 (I Need A Nude)
Quite interesting to see the size differences. The brown-green has been a staple of mine since around 2017, and is a repurchase from about two years ago. I’d say the biggest difference is weight. The Biba and Brown-green both feel very hefty and the pan sizes are generous. The $60 feels like a mini in comparison. I also noticed the mattes in the I Need A Nude had a more chalky finish with more kickback.
Hello!
I'd like to have a more defined makeup style, I usually only use mascara, eyeliner, concealer, blush and lipstick, but I'm always debating between something natural and something with darker shades, plus I always have a problem with blush, sometimes I feel like I don't apply it correctly and it changes the shape of my face. So could anyone give me some recommendations? :)
I currently use NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation.
I use a combo of a beauty blender and my fingers for the concealer, but I’m wondering if a brush might be better than a beauty blender? Are there any brushes you recommend using with this concealer?
I know Merit does their free bag with purchase…
Does anyone know when merit will do another free bag with purchase, not their usual brown/orange one but some other color/texture? I want to make an order over $100 but not sure if I should wait. Thanks!
