any dupes? similar products you can recommend that are around the range of $4 to $10 is perfect because im a student currently :) all suggestions are appreciated!
I feel like Ive always have the same old, same old hair and makeup. Dark hair, lashes and clear gloss. I and am looking to try something new, especially for winter time. Any suggestions? :)
Thanks in advance, and happy holidays 🎄😁
From what I've been told by social media. Warm undertone = Yellow Neutral = Orange/Beige Cool = Pink Olive= Green
However I've been having trouble because my fair skin has a yellow undertone, but I suit more cool-toned things. Silver, cooler colours, and whenever I try to suit myself to warmer toned colors and warm toned recommendations I look terrible. Not to mention I look more like a hospital patient yellow than a vibrant summer yellow. My liver is also fine I just have a yellowish hue.
I have blue/purple veins and darkish brown hair with brown eyes if that affects anything.
Is there such thing as a cool-yellow undertone? Or have I just got something wrong/mixed up?
Looking to get a new high end primer. Have been using the Lancome La Base Pro Primer for years, but due to having makeup ADHD, I think it’s time to change it up for absolutely no reason. Does anybody have any opinions on the Tatcha Liquid Skin Canvas, Hourglass (any) primers, or Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Hydrating primer?
For reference, my foundation rotation currently consists of the Armani Luminous Silk, Shiseido Synchro Skin, and kbeauty cushions.
Also, in case anyone is interested, the Lancôme primer is great. Super smoothing and glides on well. Somewhat comedogenic, but fine if you’re not using on a daily basis and really thorough on removal. Highly recommend if you’re using the Lancôme Teint Idol foundation that goes with it since the foundation is a bit drying. Biggest annoyance was the bottle. Once you get to the bottom, it’s super hard to get the remaining product even though there’s still stuff in there.
Also happy to hear any other recommendations (low or high end)!
Hello friends! I graduate nursing school the first week of March and our graduation headshots are coming up soon. With professional photos I usually go for an old money, easy, timeless look but i’d like to try incorporating vampy into it. I’m open to any and all ideas! Lately I’ve been playing with purples and grey-beige (pic for reference) but i’m open to going the deep black and burgundy route also
++ suggestions for good primers to use with the Fenty Foundation stick! Its my favorite foundation but i’ve been struggling with it lately 😭
basically title!
would love everyone’s recommendations for a creamy long wear lipstick. minimal smudging, doesn’t dry down matte (recently tried soft matte and didn’t love it), feels nice all night long.
bonus points if you’d consider it kiss proof. bonus bonus points if it’s a drug store brand! but it doesn’t have to be. please — give me your holy grails!!
Any suggestions for a lip product that has the same color as the lipstick in this photo? (The color in the center of the lip)
The account who posted this tagged ABH but I am not sure. I would love to try this look.
I know there are a lot of color dupes out there, but I'm curious about formula dupes? I really miss using Makeup Geek shadows as eyeliner (zero fallout, stays exactly where i place it with an angled brush bc its not powdery), but haven't found any shadows that do the trick.
What are some formula dupes you know of? it doesn't have to be MUG related.
for me, TheBalm's matte huges liquid lip is quite close to the old KVD everlasting lip formula!
Hi guys. I recently discovered this lipstick from Prada (Prada Monochrome Hyper Matte lipstick) in the shade notte p56. The shades amazing but it's not very long lasting. I don't want to spend like 40 pounds on a lipstick that won't even last. Can I find a dupe for this shade? Thanks in advance
I apologize as this photo is probably filtered . . . IG ca. 2016 and all. It’s the only one I have.
I’m looking for a lipstick in the shade I’m wearing above. It’s a slightly muted, deep purple. The lip color was from Wish, so there’s no chance of finding the brand or shade.
Most of the shades I’ve tried in the effort to find a replacement are too brown or berry. I would prefer a matte liquid lipstick, but I’ll make do with whatever form and finish. Also open to lip pencils.
TIA!
New to makeup. No matter what I do blush doesn't seem to suit me. Not color, not placement. My mother tried a 'blush' that looked more like a contour than blush and it actually looked good. Perhaps blush just isn't for me? Is it normal to not use blush and just use contour/bronzer?
