Hey! I hope you guys are doing well, if possible I wanted your help translating a poem I wrote into Japanese. I met a girl and was inspired to write about her. She speaks decent English, but one day if I ever show her it, I thought it would be cool to read it in her native language (Japanese). I’m taking Japanese courses in college but am far from fluent and would appreciate any help anyone can offer :). Poem below

A new star hangs from the sky, shining brighter than all the rest,

What is this fixation placed upon my eyes,

Is it playful adoration for the new, a passing feeling gone with the night,

Or is it a sun in the sky, displaying colors that my pupils have never seen,

Is it even worth looking at,

or will my heart go mad trying to reach your heights,

I casually glance in your direction, but do my eyes ever reach yours?

Do our stars align,

Or am I just a bystander, gazing at the beautiful sky,,

Hello! I am planning on getting a Japanese knife engraving and was hoping to translate “Mythweaver”.

Google translate suggested “神話織り者” but I was curious if there was anything else more appropriate to capture that idea. Thank you!

Hey everyone! I'm hoping someone can translate this sign my neighbor out in front of my kitchen window. I believe it's a type of Russian dialect.

Google Lens seems to tell me it's the kanji for Love (愛), but to me it looks slightly different.

Is this a simplified version of the kanji? If not, what does it say? Is it even Japanese? 😅
