Looking for a tablet to run simple candy crush like games for mom. I will be installing then she just plays them so being able to customize simple front end UI is a bonus.
Thanks
Good day to you all,
as my galaxy s21's lifespan is coming to an end I am starting to look into some new devices. As I am known to love experimenting, I asked myself this question. If anybody here has an android tablet with a 5G or 4G modem, could you please check if you can receive and make phone calls from it and then tell me the name of the model? Or maybe you even tried to use a tablet as a phone replacement and you could provide me with user experience? Would be highly appreciated!
Is it worth for Gaming?
I want to get the poco pad for gaming, genshin impact, Pubg, and Roblox.
Is it worth it?
Hi! I'm searching for a powerful second hand tablet that supports heavy sites, since I need it to do 3d modelling, professional drawing and photoshop. Do you think it's possible to find something around 200€ (I live in Italy)? Any advice? Thank you :)
My kids wanted to update an app but had no space. It said “archive photos to free up space”. So I did and now they are NO WHERE. Thousands of photos and videos taken by my kids gone. They were not saved to Amazon photos, just on the tablet so I have no idea where they would be??? Please help. Amazon was no help.
Is the Oukitel OT8 any good? I have a pretty low budget, and I'm just looking for a tablet I can use to watch movies/YouTube and draw. (If you have any alternatives, put them in the comments, my budget is around 200 USD.)
Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new tablet and stumbled upon something called the TANK Pad. It caught my eye because it has a built-in projector (sounds super cool, right?) and a massive battery. I'm planning to use it for work and some casual entertainment, but I couldn't find many reviews online. Has anyone here used it? Is it worth it? Would love to hear your thoughts before I decide. Thanks in advance!
So, I've been searching for some time for a note-taking app. While there is a number of those for Android, none of them are as polished or feature-rich as, say, Good Notes for iOS.
I myself am an Android guy and have always been. So I'm thinking, should I swallow the bullet and go ahead and get me one of those iPad minis, just because they have well-made note-taking apps?
I have close to zero experience when it comes to iOS. But I can switch to iOS, this one time, just because they have a couple of really good apps.
In general, is Android lagging behind iOS in terms of not taking applications specifically?
So to start off I have a Surface Pro 7+ that is dying. Ive done a lot of troubleshooting and have concluded that it is probably a hardware issue.
Now I am looking for a fast note taking device with a budget of under $500.
Options that I have been looking at:
- ipad 10.9-inch, 64gb wi-fi (10th generation) ($279.99) + Apple Pencil (USB-C) ($69)
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ ($399.99)
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE ($299.99)
Uses:
- Typing up documents, would have to get keyboard
- Writing on pdf documents (200+ pages)
- Light media usage
Preferred:
- last me 3 more years
- load and upload documents relatively fast
Thank You for taking the time to read this and any help would be appreciated!
Hi there grabbing a tablet for our kiddo to have on an upcoming trip and have decided on the Samsung A9+ however I’m torn between the 64gb vs 128gb. This tablet will be used pretty infrequently for long road trips or flights a few times a year.
With that being said I’d primarily need it to download and stream videos/movies for our kiddo. Can I get away with just purchasing the 64gb version?
Hi folks, I'm a student and I've been contemplating getting a tablet for school. I'm open to suggestions after providing what I'm looking for, but I have a particular question in mind:
I would be using it for note taking, so a tablet is required. I had a Samsung Note many years ago and remember the phone had a 'slot' for the pen when not in use. Is this a feature on modern (or modern-ish) tablets?
The primary goal is to aid in organization and I feel like having to keep track of a stylus separate from the tablet would just be counterproductive, ie something I'd lose in a hurry. 🙃 Do you just get a case with a spot for the stylus and I'm overthinking it?
If you wanna recommend anything (new or to find on secondhand market) here's what I'm looking for:
I'm a Linux user and would like to mess around with Linux distros over the summer so,
Thanks for the info!
Hello guys I'll looking for the most heavy duty case possible for a Honor pad X9 .
My autistic son decides to throw things across the room when he gets annoyed etc and I'm sick of replacing things and screens.
Don't care on the price , just want it to be bloody military grade armoured .🤣
Any suggestions.
Many thanks
Just want something I can put movies on for the kid to watch. Needs to be bright to view in daily light/outside Needs to have fairly loud/clear quality speakers Needs to have a fairly long battery life I’m looking for bang for buck
Hi folks, I am looking for a large (likely android) tablet to turn into a writing tablet. The idea is strip it down (from a OS/UI perspective) to open into the writing / annotating app only and remove all other apps. I am hoping to do to save $ versus a remarkable / boox etc.
Looking to replace my ailing 4 year old Galaxy Tab A7 before Cyber Monday comes to an end, initially I was looking at another Samsung but have come across the Lenovo P12, and at face value it looks like it ticks all my boxes. I'm working with a budget of £300 max, and this is right at the top of that (the 8gb RAM version)
Primary intended use (other than video streaming) is as a resource for running tabletop RPGs; juggling reference docs & browser windows, taking notes, etc. No real gaming needs, nothing that's more demanding than something like Balatro.
I'm also looking to get into digital art, so the stylus inclusion and compatibility as a drawing tablet really appeals. Decent battery life would be great, but I'm not looking to take it out much, mostly home use.
Main question is: would this be my best option for my needs at this price point or is there a better alternative?
Second question: is it worth paying £300 for the matte display version, or should I save £50 for the non-matte?
Hi All, after much investigation I've found that an iPad is probably the best option for my kids, it has to be used solely for learning games/apps. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience using the A2270 iPad in nearly 2025? Would it be ok for just learning games and apps, or a bit sluggish?
I need to choose between an iPad Air or Surface Pro within a couple days.
Wants:
detachable/convertible keyboard (want versatility) lightweight (most convertibles are too heavy) usually prefer windows operating system sturdy keyboard or at least accessory I can purchase to make sturdy reliable not a Chromebook
Concerns:
flimsy keyboard would love if I could use also as an actual “laptop” if I need to
Why I need it:
everyday life tasks emailing, bills, calendar organizing, to do lists , YouTube work out videos really do not watch Netflix or play games
Other questions:
*any recommendations on reliable cases or apparatus’ that give the detachable keyboard more versatility/stability? *other accessory recs?
Oh also around 12" preferably
Will be using for videos, reading, browsing (I won't be taking notes on it) What I think I need, good display size and resolution, sufficient battery life, and no lag or stutters.
My options
Cons- had a bad prior experience with Lenovo tab, well it was cheap but yea
Cons- Worries about its os as it was banned earlier and stuff, but the specs are pretty great for my price range)
Cons- everything is great just the processor is just bad, so worried it might lag in some cases, rest everything is just great on it
Open for recomenddations below 25k inr (No redmi, no samsung a9, no realme)
There are many things I can do, choosing technological device, NO🫠 all helps are appreciated.
I need something that i can have good reading experience as well as I want to learn design and sketching. I have no clue what to choose from apple. Not a big fan of big screens, I dont really have a budget limit

Hi everyone!
I already have a good laptop for college, but I’m looking for something more portable and easier to use for note-taking. I’m a visual learner, so having a device that helps with studying and organizing notes would be a huge plus.
My budget is around €300, and I’ve been looking at:
Do you have any experience with these, or would you recommend something else within this price range? I’m particularly interested in good screen quality, ease of use for note-taking apps, and battery life.
Thanks in advance for your advice! 😊
Hey guys, as the title says I'm thinking about getting either an iPad Air (2024 or 2022 Version) or the new Samsung Tab S10 Ultra. For the past years I've been using the iPad Pro (2017?) and only had little issues so far. I've tried to watch reviews on both, but they both seem reasonable. I'm not sure how long a Samsung tablets life expactancy is. The tablet would be used mostly for studying (drawing just in free time) and sometimes entertainment of course; that is why I would like to get a 13" tablet (split screen). I don't really care about the eco system (i have a Samsung phone rn). Which choice would be the better option?
I have $2000CAD to spend on a tablet for disability grants and accessibilities. After a lot of research, I’m caught between these two. I am familiar with both systems, so I don’t have a preference in terms of models or such.
My main priority is longevity: which one of the two will last me longer? I will be using it for minimal schoolwork and things like youtube or netflix (no social media, that’s only for my phone) and mostly a mirror screen for my laptop for reading pdfs and such, but it’d be nice to have it last to be an independent device after school is over, too.
hello~ id just like to ask if the redmi pad se (8/256 variant) is worth it? im planning to buy one for my little sister as gift :)) i asked this sub abt the xiaomi pad 6 tab 8 months ago and im very enjoying it and its been helpful in my acads and readings, though my sister had been using it more than me🥲 so yes i decided to buy her an advanced xmas gift haha~

Hi everyone, I have a Realme Pad 2 and I recently bought a Sounce 6-in-1 hub. I do a lot of work in Tab and since I use the same hub from different brand (Verilux) for my ROG Ally Z1 Extreme, I went with Sounce since it's half the price of Verilux.
Charging was speedy (100W PD supported), but then I realized, the Hub isn't recognising any of my Data drives, just redirecting the Charging power to the Tab. I inserted SD card, USB drives, HDD, but no output other than PD. I used my Verilux hub and it's the same fate. But, to my surprise, both my Hub works perfectly alright in my ROG Ally and my mobile phone - Realme Narzo 60 Pro. (PD works, getting output of data drives)
Any suggestions/solutions?
