Welcome to /r/FindAReddit!

Having trouble finding the reddit you need? Post what you're looking for and someone can kindly suggest a reddit for you!

Rules & Guidelines

Please see the full list of rules & guidelines. Many of the rules below have further clarification to assist you in determining why a moderator may have removed your post.

1. Don't be a jerk or be deliberately unhelpful.

  • This applies to everyone. Derogatory and insulting comments and posts as well as comments that are unhelpful are subject to removal.

2. You must post a clear, easy to understand request for a subreddit.

  • There are certain technical exceptions to this that will arise on a case-by-case basis, but if your post is asking for anything other than a subreddit or if the request is very confusing or unclear, it may be removed.

3. NSFW posts are not allowed

  • Unless you have made a request in /r/NSFW411 and they were unable to answer your question. If this is the case, please let us know in the modmail. Moderators will remove NSFW posts at their discretion.

4. No posting of personal information

  • No posting of personal information or requests for personal information of anyone else (including name, location and any other personally-identifiable information).

5. Do not suggest only that the user should use search engines.

  • Our users are here for our help, not sarcastic responses that they should do it themselves.

  • If you have nothing else to say other than to check a search engine, please refrain from commenting and leave the thread to others to assist with.

6. Absolutely no joke or troll suggestions and / or posts.

  • Those that suggest sarcastic, off-topic, trolling or purely incorrect subreddits to those that are genuinely seeking help, or those that make joking / trolling posts may be temporarily banned without warning.

  • This especially includes posts such as "a reddit to find reddits". You have been warned.

  • An example of a joke suggestion would be a response suggesting /r/atheism to a user requesting Christian subreddits.

7. No spam

8. No requests for illegal or prohibited stuff

  • It is against Reddit's terms of service to request or provide methods to exchange or purchase illegal or prohibited goods or services.

Directory

r/FindAReddit's directory indexes 1,000+ up-to-date subreddits, categorized into 50+ different categories. Large categories have their own separate subdirectories which are linked in the main directory. Our very own u/FindBot keeps each subreddit's subscriber count, activity, activity rank, and descriptions up-to-date daily.

Message the mods and the name of the subreddit and its current subscriber count for us to consider.

Found!

When someone's found a subreddit that fits your criteria, you may either thank them in reply which will automatically flair your post, or you may flair your post manually.

How do I flair my post?

When making a new post, click on the Choose a Flair option and select the "Unanswered" flair. If you want to change the flair manually after you already made a post, click on the flair option under it and select the proper flair from the list.

Can I see only 'Found' posts?

Need More Help?

Note: If you need your flair changed, you can do so by going to your post and changing it; it is not a mod-only functionality.

Feel free to contact the mods for questions about submissions, concerns, or anything else not answered here in the sidebar.

Question about best setup for my PC monitors

I bought a new standing desk that I will be using soon and I have a dual monitor setup and I have two PCs for my own personal use that have two HDMIs. But I also have a laptop for work and like to use my monitors while I work and have a USB-C to HDMI adapter that I plug in. I was wondering what's a better way to setup my desk so I can seamlessly switch between them without having to go back and manually unplug/re-insert everything each time?

Something like r/FindAnApp, but one that's still active and doesn't require people to join in order to post.

Mutual Aid Subreddits (no karma req)

The full details are in another post on my profile but basically need an amount of money that is not worth taking a loan out for by tomorrow and I don’t meet the karma for a lot of the mutual aid subreddits already in existence (I lurk more than I post).

I am happy to pay the money back, or do a a task for it so I don’t mind if it is a donation/loan/job offer subreddit just as long as it doesn’t need me to have heaps of karma.

Thanks in advance.

Is there a reddit for getting reviews on photos i click?

Is there a reddit community where i can post some pictures that i clicked and receive reviews from other photographers? Like what i could do better in that shot?

I'm looking for a sub where people could give me tips and ideas on what i could've done better. Kind of like how you give reviews about a movie or a restaurant.

Best subreddit(s) to learn day trading, and/or cryptocurrency investing, and/or forex trading or any of those modern day equivalent of Aladdin's Magic Lamo for a beginner who is extremely data/numbers averse?

Well, I don't know which one to go for either. So asking for all of them. Thanks

Help to choose

Hello, I'm looking for the cheapest tablet for university but that allows me to use a pen to write and has low ping latency.

I was looking at the Lenovo M11 with 4GB ram and 8GB ram and I don't know if there will be much difference or not, because I only need to take notes, not play video games.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer this.

Can you help me find this singer/band?

I was scrolling on tiktok when i suddenly remember this band or singer that i liked, I only knew a few of their songs but the one that stuck out to me was a song that im not sure of its name, but im 99% sure it ends with the words "mia" like the word "heterochromia" as an example. The album cover was somewhat if a scarecrow or something resembling a scarecrow holding a lantern, it was like a spooky woods atmosphere and the singers voice sounded similar to the singer if the song "Maps" by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, this is all the information I know, if anyone can help me please let me know!

Subreddit with creepy, eerie, and melancholy images/posts?

Hey all, I've found a fair few subreddits that are grotesque and horror themed but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking moreso for a subreddit with creepy vibes, like looking out on a foggy night - preferably with a hint of sadness. Anyone got anything like this?

What subs are there that have some particularly gunny top posts of all time?

I’m just looking for some subs I can waste some time browsing top posts that should be particularly funny. Most subs have good quality top posts but aren’t particularly good once you join such as r/memes so I’m just interested in what there is to look at. r/notintersting, r/bonehurtingjuice, and r/anyimeme are some of my favourites

Reddit where you can ask for strategies on how to gain money or valuables through unconventional means.

Hey everyone,

I know my topic title might sound a bit unusual. Essentially, I'm trying to find a subreddit where people share experiences or methods for obtaining money or valuable items in unconventional ways. I’m not looking for typical side hustles like beermoney or small-scale gigs. Instead, I'm interested in unique, less-explored ways of acquiring wealth and valuables.

I'm not looking for job-related advice, and I’m not focused on anything unethical, so the usual subs for questionable methods don’t quite fit. I’m open to methods that are ethical and fair, just not widely known or commonly believed to be effective.

For instance, dumpster diving is one example, though it’s often messy and risky. I’m curious about other, lesser-known paths that might not be as mainstream or widely practiced.

If anybody wants to explore this further, feel free to DM me. I have some ideas in my mind.

Malware on phone?

Hi, about a couple of weeks ago, I found a tiktok account in my 'add accounts' section that is not mine. I'm the only person (that I know of) who has access to my social media/emails etc. I screenshotted the account when I first saw it as I was instantly suspicious (it says google underneath). Anyway, about a week later, I searched for the account in the search bar and it no longer exists. I theen clicked on the 'add accounts' and the ghost of the account remains. I'm looking for a suitable subreddit which may be able to answer my question and help me understand whats going on. I've tried uploading in a few and it gets automatically deleted as I dont have enough karma. Any insight will be appreciated. I'm quite new to reddit so excuse my ignorance.

Looking for a subreddit where I can find help on why I get a panic attack every time I see a rape scene in shows?

If this is too inappropriate to be posted here, please take it down. But if not, I'd like to hear a suggestion for where I can post this. (I'm not a rape victim btw.)
