Like wwhen i post a image on phone reddit it shows below the text, but when i post it on pc, it shows as a ugly nasty link! sooo uhh like how doo i fix that????
I’ll be honest, since the achievement doesn’t tell me where I earned the achievement I want to turn them off. This is a completely useless part of Reddit. I could care less about which sub Reds are available for certain achievements.
I have tried verifying my email but the link won't work and reddit won't send me another confirmation link.
I have a ADHD and an addictive personality and I want to leave for my own wellbeing, and deleting my accoubt will help.
Is there any way to do this or will I have to contact customer support?
so i have the premium reddit which claims to include add free browsing however i still have adds in my feed. anyone else ? is there a setting somewhere i have to turn on or off ?
Good morning everyone,
this is somewhat confusing to be honest. Actually all of my posts are getting downvoted but just once so that they have 0 votes. But why is that?
Could it be that some user literally stalks me and downvotes all of my posts? I don't really care about the points and all but could this really be the case and if it is can I find out who it is?
Thanks in advance
I am a member of the r/Mezcal community, i am unable to access their page when i press the title onscreen this appears, "sorry about that. There was an error loading content". "try again" In a black text bubble below the "try again" a statement appears stating, "We had some trouble getting to Reddit"
I "try again" same issue. I can see reddittors posts from the r/Mezcal community on my feed and in notifications, i just physically cannot access the community to read posts and participate. There are no restrictions on my account or me, ive done nothing wrong, ive been a member for months. I have logged out and logged into my reddit still the same problem, if i uninstall and re-install will it fix the issue, and/or if i do will i lose everything ive built up on Reddit ? Please advise.
When I click to give an award I see all the usual stuff, seal of approval, heart, snek, little turd guy, etc.
But occasionally I see people give an award of like this little angry red dude, or a wide eyed purple dude, or a green finger pointing upwards, or a laughing star. Where are these awards coming from and why can't I see them to give to people?
Is there a way I can stop this reddit notifications? Any small thing, you have message, someone upvoted your comments? I'm open to ideas please.
Also video doesn’t automatically play when I click on. I have to hit the pause button for the video to start. Any suggestions? I’m using iOS
The title is really the whole question. The rest of the body text is just if anyone's curious about what prompted the thought.
It's not this account I'm talking about. This is just my question asking account.
If I had made the app, it wouldn't count the creator themselves looking at their own stuff. That doesn't seem like useful info to me.
Like, if it was a public number and someone cared about it enough to do it just to jack up their own numbers then I suppose that should be their decision. There's much worse forms of manipulation out there.
But this number only displays when I'm on my other account, so I know it's only visible to the user. Misrepresenting it on purpose would be pretty pointless. I'm the only one who can see it.
I'm skeptical of these numbers, and these are profile posts. They're not on any subreddit, so it's not just fast swiping by people who are looking for other stuff.
I have been trying to delete my account and it says that it cannot be processed at this time. I have tried to delete my account multiple times over multiple days.
I have tried the trouble shooting tips online. However, none of them seem to help. Going into old Reddit did nothing, my google and apple accounts are not connected, and I have changed my password.
PLEASEE help me
I tried posting to r/youtube but the automod automatically deletes my post despite doing and following all there requirements and rules and yes I have enough reddit post and comment karma please help
I am facing a problem with my acheivements recently. Whenever I try to complete or run behind the 20 Day streak or 30 Day streak my app starts to act and I miss my achievements.
I thought it was a feature and im unable to see it.
It is suggesting to contact the mods, but I don't know their handles, either way how can I contact them?... Pls help...
A week or two ago, I started getting notifications (under the app's inbox thing at the bottom) every time someone accepts a chat request from me. It's annoying because the number dot comes up at the bottom and I think it's a comment reply or something, only to see it's that (after already having seen/replied to the person's text).
How can I turn this off?
I don’t use this app too much but am trying to make a post on a sub Reddit and it said that I need to have a established reputation on here to post, does anyone know how to?
When I get these I click disable updates from this community. Does this mean I won't get these random notifications from that subreddit or that I will never get another notification from that subreddit?
recently while scrolling through specific subreddits, rather than just being on the homepage, I've been getting the same posts to appear. If I sort by new it'll show me probably around 30 posts, and then when I load more it'll show the same 30 posts it just showed rather than showing the 31st newest post. If I sort by top or best, or filter with flair it does the same thing. This makes it basically impossible to browse subs
So I got the top 3 posts in a big sub for the month and I still didn't get the achievement. Does it just take some time?
I just tried making an account a few hours ago, and it's not longer active. So I tried making another account, posted a few comments, and then I got an error message and could no longer post so I tried to view the profile from my main and it said that the account has been susp...d.
I would like to delete my account on this platform. However when I try to complete this it sends me a message along the lines of “deletion failed”.
Please could someone clear up how I go about solving this issue. Any help appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
When I’m following a thread and there’s the gray boxes that say, “11 more replies” “5 more replies” etc, nearly every time I click to open the replies, the box disappears and no replies come up. Any idea why this happens?
is anyone getting recommendations of posts that say "because you visited this community before" on communities you are 100% certain you have never seen before in your life?
I'm starting to worry that I am sleep scrolling and visiting weird places I normally wouldn't go 😂🤷🏼♂️
Hello everyone! I've recently deleted an old email address of mine since it was playing up. What I didn't know was that my reddit account was under it and I didn't have a password. Is there anyway I can get a password with out a code being sent to my non existing email? I want to add reddit to my new phone.
No matter how often i press the unmute button it just keeps muting itself after a few secs. how can i solve this issue?
My account is bringing server error, what can i do to it?
I cannot toggle dark mode on... It shows the dark mode is on but I have a light screen. Any ideas?
