Should i get the 256gb Air 5 for $599 + Pen 2 for $80

or

Should i get the 128gb Air 6 for $599 + Pen Pro for $120?

I was looking at the iPad 10 because of the price drop. It's $329 for education, and since I already have a gen 1 apple pencil, I wouldn't need to buy one. Do you think it's enough storage at 64Gb? I already have a MacBook Air I use as a primary device so this wouldn't be my only device. My use case would be reading, PDFs and notes, as well as sheet music.

3th gen with 3G / 16GB and official keyboard. "Little" bit slow nowadays.. Even youtube plays only in browser at 360p. Shame since retina display is still fine as day i got this in 2012 :)

This device would mainly be used for note taking for school and possibly as a secondary computer for portability.

Would the Apple Pencil Pro have a significant difference on note taking compared to the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen?

I do have a iPhone 15 Pro, so I would probably notice the difference in refresh rate.

Many users say having M4 on iPad is useless doesn’t make much sense. We clearly don’t want Apple to listen to this and to make iPad a less powerful device. I would suggest the users to recommend Apple some changes which they wanted to see rather complaining about having too good a hardware. If there is one or two software which uses all those power, that will justify it. Even if there is no software which uses such amount of power, the experience on iPad is definitely smoother because of this hardware.

I’m thinking about upgrading from the iPad Pro 11” with the M1. I see the air has the M2. Is it worth upgrading to the new iPad Air or to the iPad Pro?

Is the new Apple Pencil more comparable to the Samsung S pen?

I doubt the new pencil is compatible with old iPads.

I am considering a wall mounted iPad that I'd love to restrict to just some apps needed to control the house (eg. Sonos, Smartthings, etc), and prevent it from using or downloading other apps. Is that possible?

Most solutions I can find suggest guided access which restricts to one app only, but here the device needs to be able to switch between the allowed apps, without allowing access to any other app.

Hello everyone I need and advice for chosing ipad, I have tab s9 fe currently but i dont fell comforty , I have ip12pro, watch 8 and mba m1, for use cases for tablet, mostly watching something, digital planning notion etc. I heard ipads can use extended screen that would be good, I'm working remote so almost evvery day so I'm making video meetings , good camera would be good but not important. My budget is limited I filtered my options but can't decide

Currently having problems with my IPad 10. I found it frozen yesterday and after nothing happened, I decided to do a hard restart for it. However, after the hard restart it refuses to turn on again unless I plug it into the charger, and even then, it'll only turn on for a few seconds before turning off again. And during that time, I can't even get out of the lock screen. However, when I unplug it out of the charging port, the screen will turn on again for a few seconds before dying again.

Any advice or know if this can be fixed at home? or should I bet my luck on a service centre?

I have an old iPad 2nd generation lying around and I'm wondering if it's possible to use it as a second display. I can't think of anything else I could do with it. The iPad is running iOS 10.3 and it can't go any higher.

Hello! I'm a college student who's planning to buy an Ipad, however, Im torn between the three and which should I get? I honestly was aiming for the new Ipad, but I think the price is too high for my budget? Thus, I opted for the Ipad Air 5, however, its base storage is 64gb and that price alone can buy a 264gb 10th gen ipad.

I'm looking for an Ipad that works well with taking down notes and other academic stuff. In terms of gaming, i guess i'll only play genshin impact and honkai star rail. Can you guys jot down your thoughts on which Ipad should i get? badly need your thoughts 😭 thank you so much!

Does anyone have the magnet placement change diagram or information? I just ordered the new M4 13'' and have been seeing posts of people saying the magnet placements are different than previous years meaning a lot of the current magnetic accessories won't work properly.

I currently use my iPad on a mount that depends on the magnetic placement to mount correctly.

Does anyone have any further information?

So I have an iPad 7 that suddenly stopped working and I have already tried force resetting it, letting it charge, letting it rest for days I even took it to a nearby store and they tried to reset it with a Mac book. im assuming this means I will probably have to go get it fixed but a few hours ago I took it to one more place and they said that it was charging and that they THINK it might be the screen , that it might have burn out or something.

I was told that it could just need a screen replacement, but them saying they “Think” has me concerned about if I want to have the screen fixed for a good price or just send it to get fixed by Apple since I don’t have much money to spend fixing it and I’d rather save that money to just get a possible internal problem fixed by Apple.

If anyone has had a similar experience please let me know what you did or if you suggest getting it fixed by Apple.

Hello. I want to buy a good device but quite affordable for jotting notes, reading some articles and also as my thesis is approaching, something that could help me with organizing my related literatures.

I saw that iPad 10th gen is one of the latest ipad models yet quite affordable. So i am considering on buying that this week. However, I see that some of the people don’t like it. Could you pls help me decide because I am afraid that I might regret buying it ☹️

Interesting in purchasing one of the new iPads for entertainment purposes. I currently have the 15 pro with the a17 chip. I’m leaning towards the new air with m2 chip but I’m worried I’ve been spoiled by the smoothness of 120hz. Interested in people who currently have pro motion iPhones but iPads without it. Does it feel like it’s slower or less snappy? Or is it really not that big of a difference? I don’t want to upgrade my iPhone for many years and I want this iPad to supplement my iPhone use while at home, preferably even upgrading my iPad again before upgrading my phone.

I know it depends on stock and availability, but was wondering if there is a cut off period after which Apple does not accept and resells older models as refurbished. Or can I reasonably expect to find a refurbished 2021 iPad pro on the store, later this year?

Basically i already own a good desktop and am upgrading my surface pro 5. Cant decided between the IPad Mini 6 or IPad Air 5. All heavy work is done on my desktop. Would like a media consumption device that could also get a bit of work done when needed.

Currently i’m a student studying a ocial science and used my surface for school - mostly note taking, research writing papers/presentations. I do some photo editing and am getting into music production.

I travel occasionally and would mainly like the device to be able to get my school stuff done when i’m away from my desktop.

Is the IPad mini 6 enough? or should i get the IPad Air 5 to be safe? (Mini is about 100-150$ cheaper)

So I have had this pdf approx 9-10 Mb saved in my ipad files for the last month. I study from it everyday and also make further notes/markup within the pdf as important suff comes along. Today it was working fine but I left the ipad unattended for a few mins and when I came back it's not opening the notes. It only shows how it's in the pic below. I have so much crucial material within the notes which I have added which I cannot lose!! as I have my exam coming up. I have tried opening it in i-books, mail it and even compress and duplicate it. But nothing seems to work. :(Please help, if anyone knows a fix to this. It's a lot of hard work went into maintaining and modifying these notes. Just for info: my current iPadOS version: 16.6 (didn't update for a while)
